The Lion King should never be sad and downcast it's supposed to be upbeat reflecting the circle of life so I don't thing the song really goes with it. It is still a good video and I'd give it 3 stars.

Although, personally, I would have put a clip of Simba crying during "I tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone", since that's the most emotional part of the song. Either cub Simba crying at his father's body, or grown Simba in one of the scenes he looks at the stars. But that's just me, nice job :)
