  • So after watching this clip I was watching other no on prop 8 clips and one was to vote yes on prop 8. So I decided to watch it and then i was going to comment about how ridiculous it was and the uploader has to approve my comment. THAT IS COMPLETE CENSORSHIP!!!!! If you have a view on something at least be a big enough person to hear the other side of an argument.

  • Here is what I don't get; when someone argues that gay people will go to hell. We if that's what someone believes then how does homosexuality effect that person. Doesn't it just leave more heaven for that person?!?

  • You can be an atheist and marry the one you love in the USA. You will be granted all the rights, privileges and responsibilities that legal marriage entails right up to the federal level. You don’t need to be Catholic, Christian or a frickin’ skinhead to get married in this country. So marriage is not only for religious people. You don’t need a church to get married. It is a legal contract recognized by the President of the USA down to the cop on the street.

  • I believe heterosexual marriage should be a criminal offense HAHA LOVE KATHY!!!!♠

  • "i´m pro gay marriage, but i believe that heterosexual marriage should be a criminal offence" hahahahaha and the way she says it;)

  • Kathy tells it like it is!

  • hahaha I love her!

  • i wouldn't go to her for a pap-smear.

  • kathy proves that you can be funny while being taken seriously. we're watching a legend, folks.

  • lmfao let me quite back street boys, quite playing games with my heart.

    SHES SO FUNNY.

  • Moral objection is not grounds to strip someone's rights from them. They're called RIGHTS for a reason, and the fact that the majority of Californians voted for Prop 8 really means absolutely nothing.

  • We love our Kathy!

  • Kathy , i love yuou sooo much for sayin "Good...It's about time!!" About lori. You are smart...funny...compassionate, and have a good strong lifeforce that burns in you...I love all that you do...as for Lori?(Plug ur ears Maggie) Fuck That Bitch!!!!

  • There's the separation between church and state, you have to keep your religion out. If I don't believe in God or Ala or Buddha why should I listen to what they "say"? I don't get that. We're talking about civil rights issue. Everybody should have the right to marry the one they love, without people telling them what's good and what's not.

Who are you to decide who can or who cannot get marry?

    Go Kathy! You're awesome.

  • @ifu1seekamy

Ah yes... you want civil rights for everyone ... except Mormons

  • @dex1391 No, I want civil rights for everyone. EVERYONE. I believe your rights end where my rights begin. You can preach in your church whatever you want, but don't take it outside and act like your beliefs are the one that counts. That's stupid. Why do you say I don't want mormons to have civil rights?

  • Marriage is both a legal rite, so keep your religion out of the law.

  • she's intelligent and funny. love kathy griffin!

  • This whole legality of prop 8 is confusing me now!

The judge just overturned prop 8 but gays are still NOT allowed to marry?

It's like winning the jackpot but you don't get the money.

  • @doetim Well as far as I know the judge overturned prop 8 and gays WERE allowed to get married, but then this group of people came and are trying to take this whole thing to the supreme court so gays can't get marry right away in CA. They have to wait a month or so and then they can get marry, then the supreme court will decide whether it should or shouldn't be legal.

  • Kathy Griffin is like the opposite of "Doctor" Laura.

  • I think she agreed with Walker's decision but not with the emergency stay issued by the 9th Circuit Court.

  • we are lucky to have kathy griffin to help us out.

  • nice wig Kat

  • On this whole "gay" thing, I got lost back in 1970-something, when the shrinks got together and said that being "gay" was not a mental problem. I could go with that decision if they had included Bestiality, Necrophilia, Kelptomania, Pedophilia, and a few other weird human actions as being normal behavior. Why is Homosexuality any different than those behaviors?

  • @JFSFLICKS Er, why is heterosexuality any different? Your point is irrelevant.

  • @JFSFLICKS How about because it's between TWO CONSENTING ADULTS? I swear, I've seen some pretty stupid arguments against homosexuality and same sex marriage before - but that was just pure idiocy.

  • @JFSFLICKS Can an animal, a child, or a dead body ever consent to sex? No. There's your answer on how it's different. Pedophiles HURT children by destroying their innocence and taking advantage of them. How can you compare that to two consenting adults having sex?

  • One old fart has been and one clueless libtard. I'm not going to watch this nonesense.

  • Larry King looks annoyed while hearing Kathy answer the questions

  • we the voters shot this down that shld be enough! why even vote if a small amout of people can just overturn and screw it up for everyone else? You can love who you want you just can't marry them nor should you.

  • How in the world can one judge overrule 7 million votes? What about democracy people? Our votes are our votes and they should be the final decision. Not some liberal judge from the gay mecca of san francisco. Its absurd. It starts here, but whats next, what will our vote not matter for next? Can a judge just choose who our presidnt is next time?

  • 1. @TheExecutiveDecision you talk about democracy but forget that a fundamental necessity for democracy is checks and balances. A judge can overrule because they have studied the constitution and other legal documents more than anyone. Though, you are correct to be cautious, and i agree that judges can be wrong. However it is a process that must happen and should happen.

  • @GRANTIFER401 The neccessity. is votes = the majority. The majority is what the people want. Trust me when the constitution was written, no one was thinking about, we better make sure and protect the gays. Our founding fathers wanted freedom and choice, but I do not think they really would approve of gay sex. Bottom line is the people voted and made our choice clear. They dont want big business messing with democracy, but if a judge does it then it is fine? How is that reasonable?

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Didn't you hear what Kathy said?"Sometimes public opinion will take time to catch up on what is right."

I don't think a judge can ever choose our president, even if he knows which one will do best. And btw, people voted for Bush TWICE,they voted for him TWICE,look what our country is now.So you know that the public is not always right and should not decide on the rights of minorities.I mean really? How is gay marriage hurting anyone?

  • @lamike1982 Who is to say that it is right? I don't think its right and obviously the majority does not as well. It is hurting people, because where does it stop? It is a moral issue, and a decency issue. It starts with the marriage, and then it leads into it being taught in schools as it is in Mass. Then it snow balls from there. I do not want my kids being taught that this is ok in schools or any other public forum. Its not just the issue at hand, but all of the affect of the aftermath.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision Um excuse me,have you been in a history class?Back then the majority voted FOR slavery, but does that mean that the majority did the right thing? If you agree then we have nothing more to say to each other.

Me getting married has NOTHING to do with you.

Homosexuality does exist whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

If you think it's contagious, then you really need help.

I'm gay,I'm monogamous,I've never hurt anyone in my life.So tell me.How is it hurting people?

  • @lamike1982 Your getting married? Congrats!

  • @TheExecutiveDecision ...".. It is hurting people", ..."where does it stop? ..."Then it snow balls from there." THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING!" Ya know, in the military, when someone's this frightened, you get them out of your ranks cuz they're a danger not only to themselves but everyone else.

The thing about RIGHTS is, they exist whether the "majority" thinks they should or not, hence the name "RIGHTS". The USA stands for "LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PERSUIT OF HAPPINESS; that's it.

  • @TheExecutiveDecision

It's only immoral to Christians. I'm sorry, but no one in the USA is forced to be a Christian, so how can you say people should have to follow the idiotic view from the bible that homosexuality is a sin? I don't believe in sin, I'm never going to, I'm not required too and the ONLY reason we are even here is because people were against being forced to follow a certain religion by there country. Get over your bigoted views or just keep them to yourself.

  • Does anyone else hate her?

  • @TheExecutiveDecision I do. She's an idiot.

  • i love everything she said

  • oh i love Kathy she is awesome!!

  • Love her.

  • I can't help but love this woman.

  • Not only is she hilarious and smart, but she can also bring her point across perfectly. Keep it up Kathy, you'll win that Emmy.

  • Whoa, Cathy <3

  • I love this woman so much. She's just amazing. She's not only hilarious, but is very articulate and intelligent when it comes down to it. And I love the way she's so vocally standing up for gay rights. go Kathy!

  • She said something very true: sometimes public opinion needs to catch up with what is right.

  • @flavioateo That got to me too.

  • I will be most disappointed if Clarence Thomas votes against Perry v swaadbfisbfuasbdfisyu because he is married to a white woman.

  • I think Kathy got a little confused about which judge did what. Judge Walker is the one who gave us the ruling that Prop 8 was illegal. He said that there is no reason to make equal marriage illegal. He's on the right side of history.

  • @stophthecomputerwiz Larry later said that Kathy did misspeak & she meant the judge will be on the right side of history.

  • Larry usually responds to Kathy's jokes. . . I don't think he was in the mood this time. Lol. He couldn't have sounded anymore bored. Poor Kathy, it must've been awkward when he'd ask her questions in that dull, boring voice. . . Well, more dull and boring than usual. :P

  • What a nutcase!

  • Not sure why the Blagojevich verdict is considered a failure for the prosecution. On 24 charges, they a CONVICTION and ZERO acquittals. That means they convinced some of that jury that the man is guilty on all counts. They just need to ratchet it up just the slightest bit in the next trial, and he's gone.

  • Kathy Griffin is great :) and Larry King is just cool lol

  • After not so many years... All, well 99% of people will wonder why people were opposite to this... and the best: People will wonder WHY people did believe in gods

  • love herrrrrrr

  • I love Kathy Griffin.
