you guys helped us out here in Cleveland oh we wanted to learn this when i heard a disc jockey her play the he told me the name and i found u guys my niece was teaching me and she moved to mi last year thanks great job
The sister who brought this dance here is from Cleveland and she calls it that too sometimes. She was committed dancer when living there and now she is considered the best soul/urban instructor in this city.
I think you guys and gals are wonderful. We here in Detroit also have several moves to this particular hustle. There is a group that originated from the TULC in Detroit and moves they created for that hustle became their defining dance. Of course, they are accredited with may more dances. Check out TULC in the search window and see some of our dances.
I know its been quite a while since you made this comment but could u put a sister up on a place to get some hustle lessons here in Det.? I think I might enjoy it.
Yes we do this dance in the Philly Area we call it SAKEEM! I think Dave Bush made up this dance and named it Sakeem after 1 of Philly's Hottest & Smoothest Cha-Cha Bop 2 stepper! Stardust in Pennsauken New Jersey is where I seen him hurt the dance floor!
This is a lil' different from what I remembe it to be... It's been about 6 years since i did it in high school but I'm glad somebody FINALLY put it on here
Still love this line dance (and the music). I learned it a long time ago and have forgotten most of the moves, but seeing you'all do it brings it all back. I truly love line dance with call-outs. It brings out each dancer's personality. Great video!
Keep on line dancing.

Here in Ohio (Cleveland area) this dance is called "The Detroit Hustle". I recently found out that it had a different name.
