  • @truthseeker778 You see at its root the problem is this: "It is all about that union greed and power, the hell with everyone else." You can quote me on that, write it down if you like. God forbid we are not paying police enough to ticket us. Because statistically they will only stop 1% of violent crimes. The rest is post situational investigation. But then again playing dominos at Cuban Crafters for 2-3 hours at a time can be hard work.

  • @theamericaninfidel1 - sir, you seem intelligent and logical- so try to look at it this way---- is the layer that the parking authority provides really a beauracracy, or is it a layer of keeping the city's grubby hands away from corrupting and misusing a valuable asset? do you think the city will charge LESS for parking? LESS for tickets? They are in a financial mess- if anything they will raise those costs, and WE will pay for it.

  • @truthseeker778 I will give you this. I haven't known the city or county to save anybody money. It's all about the greed. Weather its corperate or union greed it's hurting citizens the same. Isn't the city trying to save money and balance the budget while police and firefighter unions are already looking to sue? People that are making $18-25 or more an hour complaining about raises while many in the private sector either can't get a job or barely break $10-12 an hour.

  • @truthseeker778 As citizens and voters we are not politicians we cannot predict how the corruption will happen but we will not be taken for granted and we will react to it. If others and I are wrong and these savings fall to corruption and nothing changes I will tell you this, we are waking up and are already looking to toss one mayor and a bunch of commisioners. I am sure that another won't be a problem.

  • @truthseeker778 I don't know what that guy is doing. That video sure as hell isn't showing anything. The cities alterier motives asside I have to believe that getting rid of the parking authority will be one less layer of burocracy to pay for. Cut out the middle man if you will. I have to think it will save the city money.

  • @theamericaninfidel1 - one more thing- Miami Parking Authority is not a private contractor....they are a city agency. The one thing that makes them different is that they are overseen by a group of citizens instead of the commissioners.

  • There wasn't a single image of that man holding any signs. I saw no signs in the car. There was no evidence of any wrong doing. Looks circumstantial banana republic bullshit to me. Regalado seems to be doing right by the people and only pissing off the unions. It sounds like he is doing a good job. Isn't yes on 220 a vote to save the city money on parking authority costs? I can see how a semi-private contractor would have a problem with Regalado. But its about the people and their taxes.

  • @theamericaninfidel1 - Really? Everybody knows what that guy in the video was doing. Plus the vote needs to be for 221- to tell the mayor NO. When was the last time the city of Miami actually saved money on anything...or lowered the prices for citizens on anything?

  • Why didn't you get photos of those signs inside his vehicle! Unfortunately, everything that I see is circumstantial. Get something incriminating!
