  • I have tickets to see Nujabes (Jun Seba) in heaven. Tupac ordered the drinks, and biggie brought the women.

  • LALALALALALALALLALAALL BAAAYBAAAAAY CUZ I LOVE YOU EEEEEYYY BABY!!!

  • Betcha if ya check it ou~~t.. you will fi~~~nd THAT I W~~UVE YOU~~~EH!!!! i love the oldies so much i especially love the artist that sample these into there own song Nujabes is first on my list then Jay Dee excuse my irony but I'm sure there one hell of a party going on in heaven. if 2012 comes around with the end of the world I'm making sure i have the larges sound system ever BUMP this ALL DAY LONG.

  • When the world ends, I will play this song front to back.

  • What is the song in the background ?

  • This is rare

  • 2012

  • Nujabes...I don't really know you..at all..but i believe when you saw the universal love that's in music... you decided that you wanted to show everyone else, how there's a hidden love in everything, all we have to do is pay attention and listen to it, and from listening to you i've decided that you are one of 2 to 3 people that i'll always hold in my heart when listening to this love, Thanks for reaching out to me through music, nobody could have done it better~Jun Seba 1974-forever~

  • Funky, I caaan diiiig it!

  • Does anybody know similar tracks to this one? I know every song by Nujabes so you don't have to tell me any of those haha. My dad said he likes this and I wanted to make a little CD for christmas hehe

I'd be happy for suggestions ..

  • @costyron Try Fat Jon. For track with old school samples. He has one song, name "You Are"; samples Leon Ware from his song, Musical Massage, which is off the same titled album. And if you really wanna get adventurist you can try Flying Lotus' "Unexpected Delight" from his album 1983, samples "Call of The Jungle Birds" from the album "Tambo", by Tito Puente. I'm not sure if you wanted tracks that have old school samples in them but Fat Jon and Flying Lotus are good overall.

  • @costyron Check out Bonobo and The Cinematic Orchestra, and maybe even Shades of Blue by Madlib. They are all a bit different than Nujabes, but great instrumental music all the same. Enjoy!

  • @costyron Oh yea, and check out Quantic too. Awesome stuff!

  • @Transpacity we went our separate ways... </3

  • I felt really sad when I typed world's end in the search bar and world's end dance hall showed up but world's end rhapsody didn't.

    Keep nujabes alive!

  • 3:41 - 5:43. incredible.

  • Excellent song. Btw what is the guy in the song actually saying?

  • @BubbleTeaCakes

:"Betcha if ya check it out, and you'll find, that I love you" or something very close to that, I feel i'm missing a word or two. lol.. The song is "Betcha if ya check it out" by the Quadraphonics. it's an awesome song. :)

  • Jun Seba, Thank you!

  • I love that feeling when you find a new song like this. Spending hours digging to find that one gem, and it's always worth it.

  • Nujabes Is truly amazing and each day it devastates me to know that hes no longer here. RIP<3

  • Sample anyone? plzz

  • @deadwing4000

Quadraphonics - Betcha if ya check it out. Truly an awesome song. :)

  • R.I.P Jun Seba

The world lose a great artist.

  • @chickenbutt123ish how did that turn out?

  • good song. be better if there were any verses

  • Dang! Greatest music ever this guy! Definitely my favorite artist!

  • If the world was going to end nothing in the universe would matter if this was the last thing ive heard.

  • I proposed to my girlfriend whilst listening to this song...

  • @chickenbutt123ish she said yes, right

  • I bet Nujabes is mixing good music with god right now.... coz this shit is just fucking awesome!!!!!!

  • This is such a nice song. Only Nujabes could make a beat like this

  • if you hate sampling then that's too bad, you're missing out on the avalanches, who have made an album that is ONLY samples. it's art. sampling is part of this style of music. deal with it .

  • Stop crying about "sampling" he's a fucking DJ, that's what they do. Stupid ass people these days who talk without knowing way they're talking about...

  • How do the artist benefit from nujabes sampling their songs? Well, I heard Lady Brown, found out it was sampled from another song, looked up the song it was sampled from (The shade of the mango tree by Luiz Bonfa)...after that, I purchased the album "Bonfa Burrows Brazil", in which, the song was included in. I obtained it LEGALLY, I may add. Now, Not only do I love the album, but Luiz Bonfa has a new fan. And I plan to purchase more albums from artist i've discovered through Nujabes.

  • You hear that? REAL FUCKING MUSIC YO! Rip Nujabes and J-dilla!

  • ask me why WW3 would never happen?

    why?

    Cuz I love you :D

  • I always enjoy this one best in the dead of night.

  • The way the voices slowly gain clarity through the course of the song, before fading away into the background from where they came, beautiful.

  • @Boonmaster1723 those little voices make the song

  • @lilfella apparently copy-paste isn't yet outta fashion either.. =O

  • Perfect music to go to sleep too

  • You know...the sound of the world ending sounds like a truly terrible thing. But this song has helped me to see a different perspective on the entire matter. When I listen to this song, The image of the world's biggest party known to mankind. No one giving other people crap about their race, religion, politics, etc. Just people celebrating their last day on earth. Celebrating the times and moments you had while you were alive. In other words, a positive view on the end of the world. hehe.

  • @Tayoballs That made me smile, 'cause that's what I think of when I hear this too.

  • @Tayoballs This is how the concept of endings and death should be really. Western society unfortunately has a very archaic and skewed idea of death, where we all mourn loss, and sit around moping about how sad it is that it all has to end. When really, we should look back at all the good times we had and take those thoughts with us to the other side.

  • @Tayoballs Kinda sad how pain & misery is one of (if not) the only ways for us to see Peace.

  • I want this playing, as I laid on my death bed!!

  • Dear Jun Seba,

Your music is insightful, thought-provoking, and inspirational to say the least. Often times, just from listening to your music, I'm consumed by an overwhelming, joyous feeling. Your music gives me a high that no other drug can. Just from listening to your music, I find myself in deep contemplation and reflection on various aspects of my life and have come to many realizations. You've changed the way I see the world. Just from listening to your music. So I thank you. May you R.I.P

  • This will be my tune as the world end on December 21 2012 ;D

  • It started off kinda trippy....then it ended up as art

  • I'm usually not one for hip hop, my main genre is heavy metal, but I can a make an exception for Nujabes. This man was a genius. R.I.P. Jun

  • If the world does end on 21 December 2012, I wouldn't mind hearing this as I die :D

  • Are these how songs were in the 70s or 80s? I was only born in 91, and if they were I feel i missed out so much...

  • To the homos that dislike, sorry its not materialistic brainwashing lil wayne garbage that teaches you to disrespect the people you are supposed to love. No one gives a shit about how much of the paper the powers that be have let you get. Life is more than a bunch of materialistic bullshit, and risking your life having non-compassionate sex with as many skanks as you can. Life is more than objects, possessions, and sexual obsession.

  • @Crimescene26 Bravo! How does it feel to be a potential candidate for a top comment?

  • @zerfsun lmfao!! thats what im saying.

  • @Crimescene26

Life is also more than worrying about a button clicked by a stranger. Worry about yourself and enjoy the music, man.

  • @Crimescene26 i agree with everything you said, but you're talking about respecting and loving other but you use the word "homo" and have a angry ass tone to your comment. its a bit hypocritical.

  • Nujabes ne sera jamais mort, sa musique restera a jamais graver dans les coeurs de ceux qui l'on écouté.

  • 14 guys thinks nujabes its not here

  • We miss you Jun, but you're music, your beats, and all the feeling you put on those two, will stay with us FOREVER. Everyday I listen your music to inspire me

You we're awesoem, still being awesome, and always going to be awesome

    A fan from México (:

  • This man was a genius! R.I.P. Jun Seba.

  • R.I.P. Nujabes!!!!

  • still a good song to funk after the Rapture :D

  • Kinda makes you think how he saw the world.

  • the 14 people that disliked this video they hear like 4 seconds of this this song and said "hey wait this isnt lil wayne"

  • ►♪♫Replay---► 0:00 ◄---Button♫♪◄

  • @ps310 thanks! shall proceed to stimulate it with lotsa clickz

  • 何回聞いてもいい曲♪ FunkyでいてBeautifulでもどっか悲しい...

  • @lovesun0402 こんな音楽は日本ではどのぐらい人気がありますか? オーストラリアでくらしていて、あまり分からない

  • As far as sampling, I dont care about that. I don't think that its hurting the original artist at all because those who like Nujabes' remixes are likely not in the same generation as those who who heard the original. That artist would have likely not been making music for our generation and probably doesn't mind the spin Nujabes puts on his music. However, because I listen to alot of Nujabes music, I learn about other artists, ones i would never have even heard of at all without Nujabes. RIP

  • GUESS WHAT GUYS NO ONE F**** CARE HOW'S VERSION IS BETTER OR WHATEVER JUST LISTEN TO THE F*** MUSIC AND THINK ABOUT LIFE Damn IT

  • Nujabes sampled, so what. It's the same shit everywhere and anytime. Greeks and Romans, Art Nouveau to Andy Warhol, cover bands too.

Apparently some of us were born in the late 80's, how are we going to be exposed to this shit. They should be glad we even care to go on a little music adventure to learn the history of this shit.

Dr.Whatson is just coming from a different perspective, don't need to be butt hurt and all.

He can say Nujabes sucks and I'll still keep listening to Nujabes.

  • Lol people leave the argueing it's useless.

Dr.Whatson was incorrect for "bashing" nujabes's work the way he did,

howeveer his opinion still stands. Now in general, tons of people including myself just appreciate and love music in general, so we can appreciate originals and samples. they're the same they're both MUSIC godly, beautiful music. just enjoy it. Modern day Mainstream has screwed up our generation quite a bit, and i think whatson simply made a mistake confusing this with Flocka stuff.

  • if that ever played when the wolrd ends i wold be a happy man

  • Seba Jun:

We <3 You and We Need You, thanks for touching our souls

Hope to see ya in heaven!!!

  • Comment removed

  • this is almost jazzy house, i love it

  • There's no point in arguing back and forth about this. What's the point?. I'm pretty sure Nujabes wouldn't want for us to argue about his music. It's just going to be a constant cycle of hatred. We all have different views on his music, and if people think of this music bad, just let it be. I understand where drwhatson is coming from, he doesn't have terrible intentions, just appreciates old school music, like our generation appreciates this. Thank you for offering your perspective, drwhatson.

  • rest in peace and all in the heaven enjoy his good music :)

  • RIP Nujabes

  • If only the world ended to such wonderful pulse vibrating beats

  • When the world ends, I'm going to strip nude, roll up some weed, and dance to this song while the world burns...

  • Comment removed

  • well i love the song i keep raping the replay button i'm sorry replay button lmao

  • Very uplifting and warm. Something like Deep or Garage House

  • Beyond awesome. This music balances me out after being stuck in the office listening to the same 10 songs in rotation daily.

  • @diasflac69 Pathetic attempt for attention...

  • I listen to nujabes during my high school days, but I never let anyone else listen to his music because I knew no one was too drawn to mainstream music to understand this music. When they ask "what song are you listening to? I say "Something you wouldn't listen to on a regular day basis".

  • Just heard about Nujabes today. Extremely sad.

R.I.P., DJ that helped bring Hip Hop to Japan. R.I.P.

  • im a little jealous god had to get his Dj so early!

  • My soul need this musik to be the mix of purple and pink

  • So cool !

  • @JohnnyKay9 Learn to appreciate real music dude. Sometimes all you need is a beat.

  • @thexbell92 Agreed. I've never felt the need to hear rap on

    Nujabes' beats.

  • @JohnnyKay9 That's insulting. I hope Wayne or any other main stream artist NEVER finds this.

  • @JohnnyKay9 Lil' Wayne should just dedicate himself at flippin' burgers, because he can't rhyme for shit and is a part of the plague that is killing Hip Hop. Beats made by Nujabes don't need lyrics, they speak by themselves.

  • 3:40 - 4:00 just makes me so warm inside, beautiful. rip.

  • Infinite Relaxation Music

  • so, I really want to know what the lyrics are for this cause I can barely hear it,

    but I love it.

  • Nujabes u are not from this world !

  • If this is what music in Heaven sounds like, I'm ready to die

  • @UsernamesTaken18 Ill be the escort for you sir.

  • where do u get pics?

  • nujabes: the new pill to cure depression, insanity, love-sickness, and more

  • @Skearn41 i'm about to overdoes on nujabes lol

  • @GummySamurai thats assuming theres such a thing as too much xD

  • @Skearn41 Hell yeah!!

  • seems a lot of viewers here didn't see "PEACE" in the title. let's enjoy instead of detracting.

thank you Jun Seba, as long as i'm alive, i'll listen, and for that you'll never be truly gone

  • wish i had the chance to respect in person

  • wish i had the chance to give him respect in person

  • No can shut the mouths long enough to hear the music so stick a dick in it. And enjoy the music that's all there is to it. Everyone else is who likes this music enjoy and sorry for ruining your vibe.

  • nujabes is way better imo ;)

  • too much hatin here. not enough jivin here.

  • God just wanted to watch Nujabes live

  • arguing about OPINION'S online is like being in the special Olympics, even if you win your still retarded.

  • @FieldingYost Your post made me LMFAO.

  • PEOPLE!, sampling is not exactly a brilliant art form, but also most artists who sample are not claiming any originality inherent in their productions, so when someone tweaks a good song and adds a funky drumline and some piano and makes it enjoyable for another group of music lovers whose losing out?, if you don't like a remake don't listen, if you do enjoy. Don't take yourselves so seriously, no one else does.

  • @drwhatson

Masterpiece? LOL! It's a generic and uninspired 70's pop song with cliche-as-fuck lyrics. It speaks wonders of Nuabes' skill that he was able to take it and make it actually enjoyable.

Go back to your old record player, grandpa, and let us young'ins enjoy Nujabes' fine music.

  • @indiemiller er, "pop song"? "skill"??? You evidently don't know genuine Soul singing when you hear it (why am I not surprised at THAT?) Nuabes is the one turning out generic crap, with a rhythm track than sounds like it comes comes as standard with Garageband. No wonder so many of your generation are brain dead if you can't tell the difference!

P.S. The performers your lot are stealing from are even older than me, so I'm happy to have known such music 30 years before you lot of deadheads!

  • @drwhatson hey if u dont like the music geez okay but music is music and at least have some respect and dignity man
