  • MY ASS!!! That's only HALF of it!!! That light has to land somewhere and project some sort of image!!!! More people will notice exactly what that image they would than some so-called "sick beams" through fog and "on-stage ambiance". I'm not arguing with you because you are right..., to some extent. But the people who own and operate the venues have a legitimate concern about the surface images and how they effect their patrons. Ya can't aim every laser at the ceiling - it looks retarded.

  • @TW0T0MED this was two yrs ago...how about the newer models cuz I want STINGER

  • what a waste of video. It would be good IF you showed the surface animation.

  • @GooGooStick What?!? Most people who are in to performance laser/light shows could care less about the surface side of things, it's all about sick beams through fog and overall ambiance on the stage.

  • @shipiboconibo true, but i believe the stinger actually has some pretty good patterns tho

  • can a 100mW 405nm Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser Pen from deal extreme burn a match

  • whats the name of the song

  • I have two of the green stingers for sale on ebay go check them out.

  • BTW: This is a 100mW projector.

  • There was never a Yellow, It was more of an amber, and it's the effect you get from mixing a red beam and a green beam.

Never looked too good because of the same reason red doesn't look as good in a light show, it's too dim compared to the green.

A low powered green is extremely bright and with a low powered red right next by it's almost impossible to pick out the red.

  • To make it sound activated just set the DMX channel to "909". It has a built in microphone, this one was rather insensitive as you can notice only the bass is making the laser react.

You can also freeze the laser making a "Liquid Sky" effect yes.

  • how did you make it react to the music, (does it just do it automatically when there is no dmx input?)

  • can this lazer stop and make effect only in sky ?

  • Ignore the music =P

  • Don't think they could've picked a crappier song for this video.. lol

Can you sayy, "where's the rave?!"

  • about 1500

  • Nice, how much costs one of these? Can you control it via DMX?

  • yes they are DMX, and they run about 1100 bucks

  • From where? I'm going to purchase all four red, green, yellow and blue...all omnisistems, but I haven't seen it for $1100.

  • The blues are considerably more expensive than the rest because it is the hardest color to create.

I would advise against red unless it's either really high powered (I'd say 30mW+) or in really low light situations, it gets drowned out really easily.

  • Yes, that is understandable, which I've done extensive research in the past when the Blue Omnisistem laser was first introduced. My question is where can I find the blue omnisistem laser for $1100? Every where I've looked it was minimun $1400-$1500.

  • I'm not sure about that. Doing a quick google shopping search the cheapest I found was $1,299.99 for the 4.95mW at ProSound and Stage Lighting.
