  • Hi im a 14 years old boy and i train 5 days a week for 2 months now the first month got out out welll i got more bigger and muscular. But the second month was not what i expected.... I did not even gain 1 lbs ! I dont know why because a have a good sleep i eat a lot of meat chiken and a lot of high protein meal .... Can you give help me out with this problem ??

  • Surely on the incline machine, if you move your hips forward on the seat, then you change the angle from your arms to your body, and end up doing a flat bench movement, as opposed to incline?

  • my shoulders are naturally wider than most guys and my arms are long, and I have go pretty wide to hit my chest, but my inner chest is lacking, any thing I can do?

  • @stylezNout Try dumbbell chest flys they target the inner chest.

  • @Excelion333 no they don't unfortunately. i thought this a few months ago, but then i read up about the all or nothing theory, which states that with any exercise you can only target the entire muscle or none of it at all, not just certain fibres

  • @simonwitney7 I am not saying they hit only the inner chest I am just saying they help hit that part a little better than straight bench press.

  • @Excelion333 no they don't, if u think of the fibres of the pec going along a horizantal plane, one complete fibre, u can not isolate a part of that fibre, therefore can not work the inside of the chest more hence the all or notthing theory. however, u can train the upper and lower pecs different because although they are one muscle, they are separated in terms of their structure

  • U seriously need a history lesson if you don't know who charles glass is. The guy must be in his 60s now and has trained many competitive bodybuilders such as Flex Wheeler...I can only imagine what kind of workouts he would put his grand kids through.

    A bunch of body builders talk about the inner pec. He is talking about targeting the inner part of the upper, mid and lower pecs to create the separation. You can in fact target the inner pec with exercises like db fly`s,,, rotating the wrist 90 degrees as you lockout emphasizes it even more.

    "targeting the inner part of the upper, mid and lower pecs" Yes, in other words the so called "inner pec". Which cant be done, because your fibres contract as a whole. The horizontal layout makes it impossible.

    MAYBE emphasize with some wrist turning or whatever you said, but you cant target it.
