Jason: You ought to cover some music by internet celebrities (IE: The Gregory Brothers, Driftless Pony Club, Tobuscus and some of his songs etc.) so that you can tap into their audiences and grow your fanbase. They're very easy to market to, and are extremely loyal. If you can make something remotely awesome out of their favorite youtuber's stuff, they'll love you instantly.

Also, have you thought of putting movies and narratives to your songs and offering the music files for free DL?
