@WESwesleyWES Cradle's first studio albums and EPs were black metal maybe, but after that they started to develop a new, more melodic sound that was violently rejected by the black metal community. From pretty much Bitter Suites To Succubi/Cruelty And The Beast onwards, their sound has been so original that it cannot be easily labelled and simply falls under the vast umbrella of "extreme metal". Why try and label it anyway? It's about the music. And damn good music it is, too.
