  • 600 light years??? We are fucked!!

  • 600 light years!!! our technology is steel bootless. ;/

  • 600 light years away, looks like we won't be going there anytime soon :/

  • @aaroncassidy7 no really i found and read this on visual encyclopaedia, if you have confusions why don't you google this topic

  • take THAT religion

  • M class planet

  • im moving there sick of this world.............

  • @boratjekshemesh I wish i could move to a less complicated galaxy or Kepler 22b at least or pluto..

  • If this planet has aliens on it, did Jesus die for their sins too?

  • @numcrun you never know

  • @numcrun Use commen sense not anyone can die twice.... dummy

  • @numcrun what a question man. :/

  • fucking Bill Kaulitz...

  • Oh goody, another planet we could ruin!

  • Damn it i was going to put on my jet pack :(

  • If life exists beyond Earth? Please, they"ve been visiting here for millions of years!

  • This picture is an artist's concept, not the real picture from a telescope. How exactly did they "discover" this planet if they don't have a single picture of it??? As with other super-Earths, I couldn't find a single REAL picture of Kepler-22b anywhere on the net.

  • @ignatei that's because there is photos but they are very dark because the star it is orbitiing was on the other side, so they scanned it many times and the machine shit gave them some colors and so the artist tried to paint it and see what it would look like

  • @TobyShock Understood. Just how long will it take for us to be able to get a real picture of one of these super Earths? Will the next space telescope do, or do they have to dispatch a probe?

  • Well i think we can get there! SCIENCE CAN BE WRONG! They said we could never fly... Wright brothers did... They said we could never break the sound barrier... But we did

(aftr the first UFO sighting) we still did anyway.. We could never go into space.. Look wat we did!! No planet like earth.. LOOK WHAT WE FOUND! No other life but a scientist saw one and told the others it was one u nvr speek if it thou

  • I believe in other life! I mean y would God only make 1 life form? What if He wanted a perfect place of no violence or Sin?????!!!!!

And the space is EXPANDING.. Literally!

I mean god used to be Above the clouds. Now expanding cause we keep lookin..

Im all happy u just gatta explore space but y dont ya focus on earth? We have SO much to explore here... Y not try to find it out? Bacteria.. Animals.. Things like Cancer! We r close to finding tht!! So look and THEN search space for things we aren

  • @IRISHgirlPRINCESS don't bring religion into this... this is pure science

and actually, we are incredablly close to discovering this earth, but the people want to fucking explore space.

  • Thumbs up for those who are not here from this Bill Kaulitz

  • Imagine everybody a planet in our galaxy dicsover our planet and think "is it possible for life on this planet?" XD

  • It's mother planet of Bill and Tom Kaulitz. I'm sure that our humanoids came from there.

  • dang thier is know we anyone could actully even get there it would take like 1million years just to get there!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless we go through a time vortex

  • that's where they shot 'Avatar'!!! James Cameron knew about Kepler 22b before it was cool

  • @goodboyinthestreet the nav'i were on the planet pandora

  • We are Aaaall here

    because of Bill Kaulitz hhahaha<3

    <3

  • hahhahah so much bulllshit news, ofc you can live on the planet, it has not to be solid, the tecnologi we have today can change the planet weather if we so want and make it as adept able as earth is, same story with mars ''water''', pictures of moon around year 1970-90 show a northpole ice smelting on mars, how can it do that when scienties tells us the weather on mars is 150 celcius degrades cold, they are lying to us about moon/mars/earth/aliens/ and the are lying about us humans being

  • Bill Kaulitz!(': I Love This Video(':

  • you are not on kansas anymore... you're on KEPLORA!

  • @dharmaufuk I just read that experimets of the CERN, going on for three years have observed that neutrinos seem to travel at speeds faster than light,as you know in the world of physics a law is valid while confirmed, once proved wrong, emerge the need to find a new theory to explain to give a logical explanation, to the new phenomena.

  • @dharmaufuk I don't have an argument against you, but for us, for physiological reasons if you want to enjoy the trip alive, that limit is below, way below 'c', at least in our current days.

  • yes I do, and I agree, I'm not confronting your. Replying does not mean go against, I agree, and in the go, I adress the problems that arise in that scenario.

  • @dharmaufuk Space is not a perfect vacuum, so the collisions with hydrogen particles, travelling at 'c' will be fatal by the collision itself and for the radiation that emits if they miss us, take an example the LHC is placed underground for security reasons.

  • @20jklm

Are you sure that you are replying to right comment? Briefly, I said exceeding c is IMPOSSIBLE according to modern science and this is a fact already proven. However, traveling long distances may be possible in very future by using strong gravitational fields etc. (which also seems impossible at present time).

  • it is an Alien attack be careful !!

  • I wanna say Thanks for Bill, caues he send me there

  • crazy mentally ill

  • dear kepler,

    gyghybhbb7jbjbju

  • Bill Kaulitz sent me!!!! :D

  • hahahah me too Bill kaulitz send me here!

  • Thanks Bill (;

  • ¡Bill Kaulitz!

The only guy that knew this and all his fans RIGHT NOW think like other way

  • Yup, yup! Bill Kaulitz sent me!

  • Bill Kaulitz brought me here, BTW! :p

  • This is awesome! But if it does have water, it doesn't necessarily mean it's the ONLY life besides us. Water might work for humans, but it doesn't mean every creature depends on water for survival...

  • Bill Kaulitz and the BTK APP bring all the Aliens here congratz you have been invaded!

  • What does that mean? Are we going to try to invade this one too? Leave it be.

  • How can they say it's Earthlike, and then end the video by saying they don't know if it's solid or gas? Earth isn't a gas planet. Do they say it's Earthlike just because it might have water?

  • I'm here for Bill Kaulitz ! :D

  • @BrenHerzAlien me too xD

  • Wow that's just incredible! I would like to hear more about that

  • Fucking AWESOME. :D I always said that we're not alone in this universe ^^

  • Bill Kaulitz sent me here xD!

  • @elninomylove Whos he ????

  • @SmibsProductions

Bill Kaulitz The Singer From Tokio Hotel

He had share this Video in his Personal App

  • @SmibsProductions Bill Kaulitz is the Singer of Tokio Hotel, a German Band :)

  • 600 light years... hmm... we should develop some new travel technology

  • There maybe water on the surface

But they have to caculate if its solid or gas...

  • IF U WANT TO SEE THE FORMLESS NOT VISIBLE CREATION WHERE HUMANS CAN SURVIVE THEN PLEASE COME IN UNIVERSITY OF DIVINE STUDIES WHERE U CAN PRACTICALLY EXPERIENCE THAT THERE ARE NOT JUST 1, 2 BUT THOUSANDS OF HEAVENLY WORLDS BUT TO GO IN THAT STATE U NEED TO TRAVEL INWARDLY AND NOT OUTWARDLY WITHOUT ANY EXPENSE. IF U DESIRE TO TRAVEL WITHIN AND EXPERIENCE THE TREASURE WITHIN YOURSELF THEN COME IN CONGREGATION AND LEARN THE WAY TO GO BACK TO YOUR REAL HOME.

  • The best planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's nice to see so many decent people trying in vain to humor what can only be a big fat troll.

  • dear kepler, we fucked up our own planet and dont know the value of it, we are coming for you now.

    -humans

  • @NightSayana Exactly. Sad to think of that. I wish so much to travel to a new Earth, but then others are going to travel with me, and the yin and yang starts all over again. How can we stop the polluters? I have been breaking my head over this question for decades. Sigh. I wrote a short story about this pondering that I do.

  • Why is Kepler-22b so far away from Earth? Probably because it has other life form humans. I don't think the Kepler humans discovered us. Freaky.

  • If you look very closely through a very powerful microscope at this graphic, in the top left hand corner you will see three brigades of cybermen poised to invade planet Earth in 2012.

  • If the star Kepler-22b orbits went supernova 500 million years ago then we will not see it for another 120 million years. Therefore if we set off now and took a short cut via a worm hole when we got there it might have already gone. Get over it fools you wouldn't see God's creation if it was sign posted.

  • @PaulMcTube Firstly, its only 620 ly away... not 620 million ly. Secondly, a star with only .97 solar masses probably won't have a supernova event.

  • @krandaman1 You still have no comprehension of the greatness of God or drivel that you have been fed.

  • @krandaman1 ONLY 620ly have you the capacity to understand that astonishing distance?

  • @PaulMcTube Yes actually, I took two university astronomy papers. The "only" seems quite relevant when COMPARING million-fold differences if you read it properly...

  • @krandaman1 It is a graphic with a made up story based on statistics and theory. This made up picture appeared on TV as a true representation, that is a lie.

  • @PaulMcTube Understood, but if a news agency does not mention that the image is an artists concept when the source of the image clearly says so, then explain how that makes NASA guilty of spreading lies?

  • @krandaman1 Because they have the same paymasters as the media

  • @krandaman1 I put the million fold in to emphasise the absurdity of a telescope analysing a planet from such a distance,

  • @PaulMcTube Well you can see Mu of Sagittarius at 4000 ly with the naked eye, so it doesn't seem hard to me in imagining that the Kepler telescope can detect a measureable change in light intensity in one 620ly away.

  • @krandaman1 I emphasise the word imagining.

  • @PaulMcTube csb, I'm just correcting facts I see, having studied this stuff and all. You can emphasise what you want to and believe what you want, I just hate to see errors in understanding of astronomy.

  • @krandaman1 OK in 120 years time we may witness the star this planet orbits around went supernova before we discovered it. Have faith.

  • @PaulMcTube As I said before, Kepler 22 is too cold and small, probably being a G type star (or close to it) as it is only .97 of a solar mass. A supernova would be very, very unlikely with current understanding. It will probably expand into a red giant, then shrink to a white dwarf, don't know where you are getting this supernova idea from. Secondly... a star like this has a lifespan of around 10 billion years, so beginning its expansion phase in the next 1000 years is highly unlikely.

  • @krandaman1 It will all fold away like a scroll then you will understand the folly of theory.

  • It's to big for humans to live there(bigger gravitation) so we must find another planet to build a future society on.

  • @marketanarchist2011 By the time it is possible to actually travel to a planet like this, I think gravity being twice as strong will be the least of the technical problems encountered.

  • wait i thought she just said it was the most earth like planet?.....neptune huh?

  • @Southwestairlines737 Why do people think Neptune is like Earth? They both orbit the sun... that's about where the similarity stops lol

  • I love her voice and accent :)

  • That was not a planet it was a computer graphic dreamed up in a studio, it is a bit like Colin Powell saying a glass of water was anthrax or in other words just another lie in a web of deception.

  • @PaulMcTube Read about the Kepler spacecraft telescope, it doesn't take photos just so you know. Notice a moth flying in front of a light bulb from 100m away? You don't need a photo to proove it.

  • @krandaman1 I know about the Kepler telescope, it cannot take a photo from 600 million light years away, this story is all about re-enforcing Hawking theories which are just lies designed to detract from the truth and prepare peoples minds for an elaborate deception. It is a fairy tale just like Goldilocks. The image is and always will be a computer graphic.

  • @PaulMcTube Actually the transit method is quite accurate, and it is no secret that this is not a photo, hence why on NASA's website the caption clearly reads "Artists Concept". Don't know about any elaborate deception happening, it was quite expected to eventually find a planet this similar to Earth when you are scanning a patch of sky for any planetary transits for long enough, given what has already been discovered.

  • looks like the world might end in 2012 we found a planet coming close to earth

  • @Towelman20 I'm sorry but firstly; the discovery of an extra-solar planet, via the Kepler telescope is not related to the 2012 eschatology one bit. Secondly; Kepler-22b is not "coming close" to Earth. Are you just trolling, or are you legitimately stupid?

  • @krandaman1 lol im not trolling im just pointing out my awarness of the fact that the world might end in 2012 and planets are hard to find and this one just got found so this planet could be the planet niribu that theyve been sayng will crash in to earth

  • @Towelman20 Right...you realise for this planet to even make it here by 2012 it will have to escape its orbit, travel significantly faster (620x odd) than the speed of light, and also have to change direction somehow to point exactly in Earth's direction. I'm not quite sure that this *could* even happen from a physics understanding, some things *are* impossible.

  • Vsauce tought me this.

  • Then this remain a mystery. It's a planet like ours which means there are living beings on Kepler. Even if it's hot, they're hot creatures. They're also unable to visit our planet lol Or maybe im wrong....

  • @MrGran007 A planet being similar in temperature and composition to Earth doesn't imply that there is life there.

  • One night i was asleep and felt my right hand goes up and something touched it. It was hard to open my eyes and it felt if my body was in some kind of paralysis. I opened my eyes and switched on the light. But there was nothing. I saw the time it was past 3.am. Months later it happened again but this time my eyes opened a bit and i saw the vision for 1 second. It had two big eyes.

  • Aliens with big eyes were angels they were banished from heaven and stripped of their beauty. It so says in the bible. They're fallen angels and i can confirm that because i've seen the vision of 1 alien. i'm sure it wasn't a dream i saw the eyes. If they were angels they are supernatural, they can invent Ufo that can travel at speed of light. Even faster than 6 times the speed of light. They live far in space. Like Kepler

  • $1,000,000,000 says it's more like Neptune than Earth.

  • @stevied424 Firstly, Neptune is 30AU from the sun, Kepler-22b is .84AU and Earth (obviously) 1AU. This is the main (and probably most accurate) calculation made about the plane. Secondly, 22b can't be colder than -11 C, with current calculations. Neptune is around -200 C.

  • We need to find a planet made out of gold so we can all be rich!

  • @IamRobinBanks Did you know gold, silver and platinum are the rarest elements in the universe? You only get them when a star goes supernova...

  • @IamRobinBanks L, then what value would gold have then? only valuable when rare.

  • @IamRobinBanks If everyone had gold, it would be worthless, simple economics.

  • That's kinda funny... "just like earth", except it's twice as big so that means the gravity is twice as strong and would not be suitable for us anyways.

... still, if there's life there in any form it would be a major scientific breakthrough. Would also give racists someone non-human to hate. Peace on Earth??? Maybe??? ;^)

  • @Y0deler the gravity thing is not quite right, also it would depend on the density/ mineral compounds of the planet that would determine its overall mass, although in all likely hood a planet twice the size will more than likely have a gravity beyond the threshold for easy human habitation.

  • i would laugh if its just humans like us there XD!

  • @NoobsAreUsh now why is this is the World News? I know the images aren't real. I think NASA & government are hiding something. Which can cause religion wars if they reveal the secret. The Bible isn't what it seems to be, people are tricked into believing all that shit. I know there isn't any God. We evolved from something. Aliens has something to do with it.

  • @MrGran007 I'm merely implying that maybe they CAN'T simply just "zoom in closer". These things are light years away, and it's already impressive that we can get a glimpse of their makeup. Furthermore, even though finding extraterrestrial life will probably incite religious nuts into anarchy, I'm pretty sure they would have kept the entire discovery in secrecy if it was their intention to hide it.

  • OH SHIT PLANET NAMEK!!!!

  • Good news everyone! (lol Farnsworth) Einstein was wrong about the speed limit of our universe!

  • DUH

  • BTW i just checked and indeed this planet here is a drawing nothing else and come to think of it there is no telescop that can "see" 600 x 6 trillion miles. Its a total hoax!! Its been repeated about 20 times during the last 3-5 years and i think someone wants to keep up the legend thjat with all our troubles her we have an other planet up the sleeve, Funding!! People..... its a funding pr hoax nothing else. These pseudo scientists should be jailed!!

  • @aburgheim If the solar system's star is bright enough, they can see the inner planets.

  • Comment removed

  • @aburgheim It's from a satellite called kepler.

Try reading before making stupid comments..........

  • @Tangogolfaus What in dhell are you talking bout??

  • @aburgheim You have no idea how the Kepler spacecraft telescope works then. Also, it is no secret that the planet is a "mock-up".

  • only rich bitchez will go on that planet.. last of all..

on eart. peace. no goverment, no police so that means= FREEDOM :D

  • @MrGran007 they cant zoom in that far, theres a natural phenomenon called the rayleigh criterion which gives the optimal possible angular resolution of a certain wavelength of light. in other words, no we cant zoom in unlimitedly

  • What makes me wonder is why this Kepler telescope cannot zoom in closer to Kepler to see if there is any proof of life out there. I'm sure scientist can invent a telescope that can zoom 1 billion light years in space. Why don't they fucking zoom in closer to Kepler 22b's surface and tell us what is there. Any huge bugs?

  • @MrGran007 You don't understand, making a telescope that could do that would be impossible, we still get crap images from Google Earth, and those pictures sometimes come from UAV's in our own atmosphere.

Trying to make a telescope that could see that far away would push the National Defecit up tenfold, if not more.

  • @MrGran007 You realize that these telescopes don't work like Google Earth right? These things monitors infared, radiation, etc, but certainly not an RGB picture you can see with your eyes. That thing you're looking at in the video is just a photoshopped image

  • @MrGran007 This is computer generated image from data collected from the kepler satellite. It captures infrared and radar images.

The reason why we can not zoom in that far is our atmosphere clouds our vision past a certain point. hence why we use satellite telescopes....

  • @Tangogolfaus Bullshit the image is not computer generated its a rendering by an artist that probably used a computer. Dont you guys get it?? This whole planet is literally "a far fetched idea" wich is in reality completely, utterly useless!!

  • Thats it! Cmon guys where going to kepler- 22b next december 21st!

  • Bullshit. There isn't powerful enough telescopes to look 600 light years away and see enough to conclude that there is a planet like earth.

  • @charliemurphyslaw I laughed at your lack of intelligence. We do have the equipment to see it, just not to confirm if it's a "solid", or you did you not pay attention to the video?

...anyway, we'll be able confirm it next year because they're planning on building a stronger, more powerful telescope. Until then, keep your false theories to yourself.

  • @ThisIsAweshum youre dumb, we find the composition of a planet by checking the light missing from the spectrum radiating off it... and no they arent

  • @mcwaffles2003 I like how you try to seem smart but in the real world you seem like a complete fucking retard. That's the same thing as seeing it. =____=

And yes they are. I seen a news channel with them saying they were planning on building a more powerful telescope. I bet you didn't even research what I said and just went out on a whim telling me they weren't. Should get your facts together before you try and seem the least bit intelligent.

    Good day, sir.

  • This is interesting/

  • Too bad we'll all be dead by the time anyone gets there

  • Aliens O.O

  • Um? Am I the only one who hears this story every few months? I don't think the video is right in saying this is the FIRST earth-like planet discovered. Maybe this is the most recent planet, but NASA has discovered ~30 potential planets in the past couple years...

  • I feel sudden urge to destroy this planet and steal its wealth...

  • @BathroomBouncer Wtf i only gave my opinion here. to invent a time machine that CAN travel in distance and you insult me. by looking at your nick it proves you are the idiot. you're really stupid

  • nice find, too bad ill never see the surface of that in my lifetime.

  • Earth like planet - may or may not have solid ground..

  • First they say it's "earth-like", then they say they don't know what it's made of. Liars.

  • Namek, nuff said.

  • 600 light years means distance. Each light year is almost 6 trillion miles. Multiply that by 600 and you're in for a huge number. So if you multiply the actual light year distance by 600 you get 3,527,175,223,910,165 miles. Unless we discover a worm hole, no one in this lifetime will be seeing that planet in person. What's funny is that this planet is still in our celestial back yard. Tells us just how huge this universe is if we consider this our backyard.

  • if i discovered it I'd name it Pandora.

  • @garrypig you're an idiot.

  • @garrypig Oh named in the most overrated movie of all tim Overtar

  • Yay, a solution to ALL our problems!

  • Anyone who actually thinks we are going to reach this planet has some sort of idea on how to shorten the trip. No one is planning on just getting in a ship and heading there. Also, before you can contribute to this conversation constructively at all, you have to understand that the closer you get to light speed, the less time it will take relative to the passengers.

  • this palanet is 6oo light years far frm earth...so wat we see there today was actually there 600 hundred years ago....may sumthing has changed there temp....or the composition of gases in the atmosphere....hope it has become earth like now...thumbs up if agreed

  • I would n't leave earth women :(

  • The Bible left this Planet out! I want my money back

  • Avatar?

  • Well to be fair when talking about traveling interstellar distances, if you were to accelerate at 1G constantly until you reach the midpoint between Earth and Kepler 22B (you would be going close to the speed of light) and then anti-accelerate at 1G to your destination, yes 600 years have passed on Earth but due to the theory of special relativity only 4-5 years have passed based on ship time. IIRC it would only take 20 years ship-time to travel across the universe going near the speed of light.

  • nice drawing or painting

  • Bullshit it aint like earth at all!! How can it be, with average 23 celsius.... a toaster. Earth was like this millions of years ago wich is about as long as it will take us to figure out how to travel to this desert..... 600 light years. Only
