The Ogg poi are really nice. I need to get a new set of them. Mine lasted about two years which is a long time for LED poi. They still work now, but have gotten a little worse for wear.

Yeah I got curious about how they are made and opened one of mine and it actually took a bit of work to get the light assembly out of the shell. I love my oggz.

That's great stuff you should play around with your planes a little more like going high and then low with some moves and learn how to trace circles with your hands as your doin hand wraps they look great Keep up the work and you'll be awesome... I guess, it's just a fun way to see what your poi are doing when it gets dark. It also can give you an idea what fire will look like in a routine without having to break out all the fire equipment.

I've got oggz, but I put them in sock poi. I'm working on putting eye bolts in two of them so I can spin them on my chains.

whoa o.0 . That is awesome!  I have always wanted to learn poi but I am not very coordinated and I tried once with mine and my brothers "astro jax"... Lets just say that I was soon on the floor in pain and warped up like a mummy.

Yay! I finally figured out the 3-beat weave with a home made pair of poi (tennis balls and work boot shoelaces lol).  I think I need to get some practice poi though... I am too afraid to experiment too much after an accident when I got over confident with my 3-beat weave and sped it up way too much... VERY painful. Have you ever tangled them around your tail? I know I would if I had a tail (maybe I can get one commissioned in December or January! Yay!).

I actually get them tangled because of the tail at 1:03, and I tangle them on the tail at 1:32. You have to adjust your lines a little bit when you add the tail to your outfit, but it isn't all that bad.
