I was in Sapporo one time in July, 2001. And we are training few days under Ishigaki sensei in some small gym (dance school)in the center of Sapporo. I hope next year will go to Sapporo again. :)
Unfortunatelly I don't know Shumei Kunii-sensei.
My teacher is Yuji Matsuoi. Now he is living in Finland.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
What is the martial arts? This is a dance,a dance of a old man. If you can inspect his each movement, you could understand it. Learn other Eishinryu. Very funny sodome, yaegaki.
Humm... Has not understood your question. Why you consider that I "performing waza different than Ishigaki sensei"? My teacher is Yuji Matsuoi sensei (7 dan, renshi), he is a "jikimonka" - direct student under Ishigaki- sensei. I has received my 4 dan from Ishigaki sensei and last 10 years still training in Ishigaki sensei's line :) (sorry for my bad English!) Of course my level not so high in comparison with Isigaki-sensei's level (ROFL)I'm just a beginner
I see (IC). Do all the beginners move forward wile doing kirioroshi? Your English is very good so is your Iaido. How can I tell? I can Not :o) just wondering because ic many differences. Where is the transmission? Kind regards.
AHA!! Now I understood! Did you means difference bitwin this video and video on my page? IC! At this video Ishigaki sensei demonstrated "Maegigri" from ZNIR Toho, but on my page You looked "Mae" - Seiza-no Bu. This is two different techniques. And in "Maegiri" we are make kirioroshi without moving forvard and yokochiburui. In "Mae" we are do kirioroshi with small step forward and enkeichiburui :) and also different noto.
YES. And I know the difference between maegeri (toho) and mae, that was not my question. The techniques are the same, just the kiai part and standing up part,... My question is WHY you move forward. I never see this in ZNIR MJER/Seitokai before, never, only with you. Is it because Ishigaki sensei douse it that way? Than he would be the only one in the ZNIR/Seitokai doing this? Kind regards.
Hmmm... In this case I want ask same: why not moving forward? :) We are always make small step to forward in Mae - kirioroshi. I never see before other way. OK! look at video with Miura Seifu sensei, 7 dan (Seitokai) on my youtube page. Best Rgrds!
I think within the ZNIR, it's only the lineage with Ishigaki sensei (Hokaido)? Perhaps it has something to do with Shimomura-ha and Tanimura-ha? Roshukai also moves forward, so is the ZNKR. MJER Soke Ikeda Takeshi duos not move forward at all! Can you ask your sensei please how this historically works. Thanks, kind regards.
No idea... We are always moving forward with kirioroshi. Ishigaki sensei to do same. But I know that Ishigaki sensei very traditional sensei and .. student :) Ikeda soke made so much chenges in MJERI techniques and Ishigaki sensei always follow him. I'm realy have no idea... I check my video and papers...
They are all very traditional sensei ... student :)
Perhaps Ikeda Soke made some small "changes" but that certainly won't be much. Every Soke has the right to change things, so did Soke Eishin, Soke Masamichi, Soke Hayakuren,... and it will happen again. But the move forward (while doing kirioroshi) is not a change, just that most don't do it (ZNIR/Seitokai)and some do. Shimomura-ha/Tanimura-ha, agressive/not agressive, matter of distance, movement of the opponent,...? Thx for your answer! rgds
eh just ignore that guy he's just a trolling idiot...

So aggressive impoliteness speaks about the lowest personal level and the overestimated self-estimation.
