  • If the Minneapolis video is this cool I can't wait for the Saint Paul one!!

  • All I heard was aadsflkwejfosidjflskejrlwekjrosidnfsldkfjdlskfj. Did anyone pull a word out of that? Jeez.

  • GODDAMN IT...at least make a SMALL effort to make yourself understood!

  • So lush and colorful... Really, it's just how I envision the song in my mind...

  • I heard this song a few times, several months ago on a local college radio station. It became part of the soundtrack of that time in my life. Oddly, I never caught the name of the artist, and when the station stopped playing it, I thought I would never find it or hear it again. Thank you Justin Timberlake for so accurately portraying his voice on SNL! When I heard the skit, I knew this had to be the guy that had sung the song. A couple searches on Youtube, and Voila, I had found it again!!

  • Love the song and love the vibe, but what on earth is he saying??

  • I wish this song was longer

  • holy fuck, these bon iver deluxe videos are magnificent

  • I dunno, if someone was standing on my sternum I think I would want them to climb down.

  • Can't believe that people could ever hate this?

Just saying that this i the best album to just sit in your room, cozy with lighted candles and nice sound and read or just think or paint or anything! I love all the songs from this album.

  • If this video was in 3D, I would die from too much visual stimulation.

  • @BMcCue7 Stfu.

  • Good grief, what's with the constant falsetto?

I just saw this guy on SNL, and if I didn't know better, I would have thought his act was one of the comedy bits. Hard to believe that anyone listens to this hideous singing unless they're forced to. Two thumbs down.

  • @BMcCue7 completely agree with you. For Emma for the most part was an amazing album. then he slid some autotune on a couple tracks and killed it. He just won a grammy which is complete bs. beth/rest is such a bad song.

  • this is what music sounds like in the great north country

  • why the heck is this so addictive & perfect?

  • @Pepedelamoraa Don' question it, jus keep listening:)

  • The life of five certain guys sucks!

  • Upon first listen, this was one of my least favorite of the album, but it has been the one whose melody has popped up in the most unexpected of moments, and as such is slowly climbing...

  • I'm in love with ALL of his songs...does that makes me a bitch? :D

  • @jpthehp The only similarity between Bon Iver and Post-Rock is dissonance that is (sometimes) created. You can't really designate something as post-rock or math-rock if it adheres to common time structures. Yes, he is creative and uses a surprising amount of unusual music theory that often goes unrecognized (as happened with Kurt Cobain) but to say he is post-rock is ridiculous. Sigur Ros, Eluvium, Mum, God Is An Astronaut, Explosions In The Sky, Parachutes, Hammock, Bon Iver..one doesn't belong

  • @PatrickHamartia Volcano Choir's post rock and it's a collaboration between Bon Iver and Collections of Colonies of Bees. Also, post-rock certainly isn't defined by "[un]common time signatures". Most Sigur Ros, Mogwai, Mum, Explosions, and Godspeed are pretty rhythmically and harmonically straightforward. Post-rock tends to be defined more by structure and dynamic range than by particular rhythmic styles.

  • If there is a god out there somewhere, please give this guy a grammy just to that other peolpe will understand that THIS is music!

  • Belter.xxyy

  • @jpthehp

Listen to their 'Can't Make You Love Me' cover. Or even an acoustic of 'Skinny Love'. Nothing false about his voice.

  • @itsSHLEY Well actually, falsetto is a way of saying the 'false voice.' So his voice is a very beautiful false voice.

  • slowly but surely downloading each song with my youtube-mp3 converter ;)

  • @13vlee Pay for it man! Support his talents so we can all hear more of him!

  • Did anyone else just have an eargasm?

  • just seems like a post rock structured artist with a falsetto voice that actually made it big. listen to eluvium yall, hes even better than justin vernon. or listen to sigur ros. point is that there are people that have done the bon iver shtick and have done it better

  • @jpthehp Where the hell did you get the idea that Bon Iver is post-rock? Eluvium and Sigur Ros are both very good, but there's very little comparison to be made between them and Bon Iver, who despite his slightly more experimental recent stuff is patently indie/folk. Additionally, the two bands that you mention desert pop song structure altogether, whereas Bon Iver seeks to reinvent it with more discrete instrumentation. Bon Iver seems to get lots of trolls, but you just sound confused.

  • Headphones, bed, this music.... and I am flying! :)

  • 노래는 모르겠고, 영상 쥑이네요.

  • Bon Iver is a band. Justin Vernon does have a beard, uses a falsetto voice in nearly all of his recordings for the band Bon Iver, but in earlier projects, such as Deyarmod Edison, he sings with his normal baritone voice. His lyrics are actually very good (I can understand them). I'm not a hipster and I love his music. Mrpippy, I give you a thumbs down.

  • @Mrpiggyinthemiddle Oh boy.

  • @Mrpiggyinthemiddle bon iver is a group. the lead singer has a silly voice who writes deep metaphorical lyrics that you dont understand. so yes, people like his music.

  • i like when music videos are art as opposed to club scenes or dancers. adds character.

  • @GozerTheGozerian No....Just no.

  • @pmpodge I know right? Gozer is just dumb. sigh, but in my opinion, he looks like Matt Berninger of The National. Both are great bands =)

  • @GozerTheGozerian It's funny, because Bon Iver's career started before Passion Pit did. Your argument is invalid, sir.

  • @GozerTheGozerian Would like to see you make music as beautiful as this

  • Justin Vernon I wish I could give you a high five because this song is awesome, you have had such an inspiration on my music!!!

  • :)

  • DOPE

  • I love how every songs tone and mood is unique and expressed perfectly in these videos. Thankyou justin

  • towers rymes with flowers and this video is flowers..... JUSTIN YOU SLY DOG

  • I'm starting to feel the weight of college, the weight of self righteous teenagers, of judgmental wenches, of infinite homework. The purpose of it all is starting to fade. And then I see and hear this video, and I remember why I'm here, why we're all here.

Beautiful video, beautiful song, beautiful band. All of these deluxe videos are ineffably phenomenal.

  • @MrGlogs Holocene gives you the answer to that one. The songs, their all connected in a way, at least how I see it it.

  • @52kilgoretrout It's flowers bro...

  • best. song. ever.

  • Makes me wish I could do gardening without it resulting in plant homicide.

  • I love this song so much.. this video has literally cheered me up exponentially.

  • i always want to say "this is my favorite song of the album", but then I listen to the next one... It's a vicious circle, really.

  • @musicisdivinity You are so right!Album Of The Year!

  • @musicisdivinity :) same for me!

  • Honestly amazing. Just.....It's just purely amazing.

  • :D

  • no other song or artist will ever compare. ever.

  • @MsShimmer06

Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens and Elliott Smith. 3 most beautiful songwriters ever

  • @jamesdavies67 Bon Iver is a group, not one person.

  • @MsShimmer06 ever? come on.

Bob Dylan > everybody else. This is awesome, but come on now, be realistic.

  • @hethradiah78 Seriously? Bob Dylan? Justin Vernon is different from any other artist i've ever come across. He has his own personality and quirks and they bleed through his music. There's just no comparison..

  • I hope someday you will realize how much I love you, Justin. you keep me alive, thank you.

  • @panibumbum I totally agree, if it weren't for Bon Iver I would probably die, the beauty of their music keeps me going.

  • just...perfect. just perfect.

  • mmm colors.

  • I fucking love this.

  • this is my favorite with hinnom right now. first second in i immediately thought "guess those are the towers in your honeycomb"

  • @ApprovedByJesus i agree
