I don't agree with this figures. The muscle is build by water and protein; carbs and fats are the energy source. to increase muscle the right thing to do is implement the protein intake not the carbs. 40% protein 40% carbs 20% healty fats. and drink 2 litters of water a day. The good Protein come from: withe eggs; chiken breast; fish; tuna; high protein with low fat - The goods carbs are those that you can find naturaly in the nature not processed food - like vegetables; and fruits.
if you are working to hard in the gym and you start feeling too tired; or it takes too long to recover eventually you can change the percentage; otherwise i don't recomend because all the carbs that the body doesn't use as energy; it will be stored as a fats and this is worst than be skinny.
