Now, all thats left to be seen, is if this is true or not, game companys are always promiseing innovations, and then they release what we have seen already, the only thing that has changed is a shiny new glow, thats it, the outside is different, but the inside is still the same, I really hope PS3 delivers on this.
No, current consoles inclusing the 360 are pre-programmed meaning they can only do what they have been programmed to do. The ps3 is more powerful, it can interact with you, it's behaviour is not predictable, it is just like AI.
The point being made is now interaction doesnt have to be based on a limited set of instructions. Now, you can have more organic random reaction. In Motorstorm, the racers leave tracks that stay through multiple laps. This changes dynamically and forces the computer to try and find a new line through the curves rather than blindly following the same path every single time you race them like in some other racing games.
pretty cool, but i dont get what realtime has to do especialy with ps3, i mean every console thinks in real time its nothing new.. i dont get it but hey cool video. i am a wii60 man myself
