I always though pudge sucked as a hitter. He was a good catcher and a one-dimensional player just like Brandon Inge (an excellent 3rd baseman, but can't hit a ball).

I like Pudge but he wasen't the all-time greatest, maybe greatest catcher if he stayed here longer.

I knew he would be great the day Pudge was called up to the Majors by the Rangers. Within a week other teams didn't run much on the Rangers any more. While he is a Tiger now, he will always be a Ranger in Ranger fans hearts.
