  • @sjohnsm not necessarily... it depends on the bore of the cylinders, because most 427's are small blocks, its not cubic inches that determines it.

  • Back "in the day" before the NHRA required that the blowers be secured, there were some unbelievable explosions. I remember several (circa; 1964-69) where the blower launched into the sky; 25-50 feet high!

  • @speedtrap73 - FYI ... this video is from the 2009 Goodguys West Coast Nats ... not the 2011 event.
