    pls response

  • I see that It was 3 months since you posted this, but if you still need help..

Remove the background in any way (magic wand tool, pen tool etc) and save it as a .PNG file. That will keep the background transparent.

  • thanks for all the tutorials, all ur videos are very well explained..easy to understand..and it would really be a big help for my studies..= )

  • for some reason can't get this to work right from the very beginning. Gradient overlay just gradients the entire thing. And my button won't fill in unless I take the paint bucket to it. Sigh. All the rest of your tutorials work like a charm. Worked on gradient fill, though...

  • Anyhoo, thanks for the inspiring videos.

I know it's late but I will go play on my photoshop :)

    Night!

I'm off to bed now it's 11:33 and I have school tomorow unfortunately.

But don't worry I will come back and re-finish watching your videos.

HELP? thanx

  • Excellent tutorial. Very easy to follow along with. I've been looking for a tutorial on making these glossy buttons so thanks for this.

  • Sweet,in my favorites

  • how do i deselect?

  • i no now sorry?

  • go to select and deselect pretty much simply

  • you can also use a selection tool (lasso for example) and just click outside of your picture

  • no i ment the text with a shadow is it a font what?

  • hehe button #2 looked better than the first one :)

  • what about the text?

  • you use the text tool

  • thank you but i meant how to get the text with the shadow

  • Right click on the text layer and click on blending options, click on drop shadow (there are lots of other cool effects that can be applied to the text in there as well) The effect can also be applied by clicking Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options / Drop Shadow

  • thank you

  • Thanks, you helped me with my school project :D. I've watched all your vids, keep up the good work! :)

  • I haven't watched this yet, but I bet you call the button "yummy," you freakshow.

  • Hi there...I have learned more from your videos on Photoshop than any other method I've tried. I have always been a Corel guy and learning Photoshop is making my life much easier. However, can you tell me how to size the finished button.

    Thanks

    Ed Clark

  • Maybe it's not a professional way, but it's easy: merge the layers (not the background), so you have your button as ONE finished layer (but be sure, that you're confident with your button, and there's nothing you want to change, but the size), to do so, select both layers, right click and press "Merge Layers". Now press Edit-->Transform-->Scale where you can choose the size of your button. Have fun! =D

  • excellent vid, keep up all the good work

  • your tutorial are as always, clear, easy to follow, very instructive. thanks a lot, it helps indeed

  • I'm in love with the way you say "SHINY BUTTON >=("

  • Sweet video, didnt know about the contract function! Awesome Vid!

  • Great tutorial! Thx babe... Iceman

  • I haven't watched the video yet, but I gotta say really quick, I love your intro, it's very simple yet looks effective and professional.

  • Thanks Ice!

  • You are welcome. I hope it helped.
