i thought they did an 80GB, shame 30GB is too little and 160GB is too expensive, i'll have to save more :/. If im playing my xbox 360 could i record me playing straight onto the archos if i have the dock. thanks good video :)

Question, if I had the choice of a iRiver SPINN or the Archos 605. What should I choose? I love that the SPINN like the clix has a customizable user interface(high selling point for me) But the Archos has a lot of features and seems like over all a good product?

Totally different products. The Spinn is much smaller and a pocket player - the 605 has a much bigger screen. Spin battery life is much better, but that's because it's not driving a massive screen.

Very much depends what you're looking for. An everyday device to carry everywhere in a pocket (Spinn) or a bigger more watchable full media player and internet browser (605)

Just curious is the wallpaper at all changable? can you set your own pictures as wallpapers? Also can you make your own custom user interfaces like the iRiver Clix,2 and SPINN? Thanks

Yep - you can use any picture file on the player as a wallpaper. The user interface is fixed however, you can't change it.

how much is the internet fee? Why would they have a fee?

The fee is an unlock fee for the Opera browser. I believe it is in the region of £10. Archos' reasoning for this is that to activate it on all players would mean the player cost more - which they thought unfair for customers who'd never use the internet on the player - so they sold the player slightly cheaper and let the customer choose to use the internet or not.

a few questions for ya! can the sd slot use SDHC? does the sd slot fully integrate like sansa's view does? will it fit in a fat kids pocket? if so, i may have just found the perfect pmp.

Yes, it uses SDHC and fully integrates the content. Not sure about your second comment - depends on the size of the pocket, but it'd fit in a standard sized jeans back pocket, if that helps!

Thanks for the comment - the 80GB version is only available via Dixons/Currys in the UK.

You can change the background to whichever image you want, thus change the color of the Interface.
