He repeatedly writes up violations of non-existent building code solely due to a personal grudge against us for asking for a copy of the code we're "in violation" of. I f people don't like the laws then do something to change them. It's pretty clear that Agribusiness has been influencing legislation to cut out its competition and people's independence in food choices. I am curious to know who turned them in. I am just surprised that these people were surprised that they were not in conformance with existing laws when they are a commercial operation. They can call it a picnic but it's actually selling a dinner with a certified chef and all.

I think the main issue was that the farm was charging money for the meal, which made it a commercial enterprise. They did not give a picnic for their neighbors and planned to feed them for free. BIG difference. When you sell food to people you have to document where it came from and what's in it. Otherwise, how could those diners really know that the food is organic? If someone gets sick from it they wouldn't be able to find the source.
