Ok, well basically he's playing it in B major instead of C major(the original)However, by using the capo at the fourth fret he's using the chord shapes you would normally play if you were in G to make it easier.

Bridge: E | Em | B | B :||x3 F# | D#7 | G#m | F# | E | E | F# | % | F# | % |

*(here he stays on G#m but the original would go to D#7)

Well if we're talking chords shapes relative to the capo then you're wrong. For the part you're talking about it goes D then B7, not Em. The B7 then leads to the part you're missing. Here' the whole prechorus: C | Cm :|| D | % | B7 | % | Em | D | C | % | D | % | D | % |

he's probably doing this because 1. it makes it a little easier to sing (and hit those high notes), 2. he can play the song the same way wonderwall and whatever are played (where only has to change the low strings) and 3. everything sounds better with a capo (fact)
