  • I wish someone could post the rest; in 10 min. pieces. thanks to ewaughok

  • The entire segment may still be on the CBC website (with an annoying anti-Catholic rant by the distaff commentator. You've heard it before ... so I felt it could be bobbed.)

  • It takes courage to seek union with a strong central authority, Father Neuhaus explains that he found grace in union with a strong central authority.

That is profound. He conscious of the corporal union, with Christ as head, that exists in the communion of saints and guidance of the Petrine office.

Better to be in ark than clinging to it. +

  • Father Neuhaus has been a great and positive influence on my faith and thought. A great thinker and great man. God bless him.

  • Neuhaus has been an enormously rich and positive influence on my faith and thought.

  • Fr. Neuhuas was far more than a defender of the faith. He was a defender of truth and clarity of thinking, and it is most unfortunate his writtings have not been distributed to a much larger audience.

  • Please don't add any more R.I.P. comments (there is no sense in posting 50 R.I.P.s). Comments appreciative of his life and work are welcome, especially those with substance to them.

  • Fr. Neuhaus was a great inspiration to me as I made my Journey Home in 2006 from a no-faith life. God Bless you Father Neuhaus.

  • Father Neuhaus died on January 8th, 2009. R.I.P.

  • His columns in First Things Magazine were truly brilliant. The Catholic Church has lost a great defender of the Faith. RIP Fr Neuhaus and may perpetual light shine upon you.

  • A great great man.
