I live on indiana street, and I had my scanner on that day. I went out of my door and told a few of my neighbors to get inside. We got to listen to the whole thing. while we went inside for a while, we still watched out the windows to see if the suspect went our way.

So dear Jesus please protect and guide those who respond to "officer down" calls, have Your hand over them and Your angels around them, give them peace and comfort. And give them the ability to forgive!

he says they shot my dog they shot my dog.. That goes to show even when he was in trouble he was yellin about his partner animal or human.. they still love them.. Dog is mans best friend

thank goodness to hear bout them . i personal hate cops when they behind me ( in car driving ) but they stand in front of you . and protect you . when you need them . god bless cops

for those wondering, this officer did recover fully, the dog was shot in the neck, lived, but suffers from sever paralysis

My wife is a Police Officer and I pray I never hear that from her or any officer again. May God watch over those that protect us. Saint Christopher be with officers always.

I have heard that call OfficerWarren and let me tell you, there is no worse feeling in the world than hearing this and knowing the guy you sat in roll call with is now fighting for his life. I hope this brother in blue made a full and speedy recovery and I hope that the suspect was stupid enough to receive two in the chest and one in the head.

Its terrifying to hear that scream for help... I just hope I never hear that over our radios or god forbid, have to say that myself..
