Washington Mutual SUCKS! They are rude, have no customer service. My daughter lost her debit card in Egypt. They didn't offer any help. We have a joint account, I had to fight to put a hold on the account, they wouldn't rush a card to her, two of the pin numbers didn't work, while I was on the phone to their customer service at the branch, the manager told me to go sit at another desk because there was nothing they could do to help me. THEY SUCK.

I'm sorry to hear that. wamu do provide great service. if you lose your card and is currently traveling they can send you an emergency card replacement within the next 2 bus day that you have reported your card lost or stolen but for security purposes they need to talk to the card holder. although you are a co signer of the account you are not the card holder. you could have advised your daughter to contact cust service 8s available 24X7.and even accept collect calls.

Thank you. The problem is the phone service from Egypt. She couldn't call and get through the phone system without getting disconnected. Generally they will send in 2 days, if you can call them. She couldn't.

I have to give Washington Mutual a lot of credit. I worked there for 2 months. Everyone liked their job somewhat and the people were very professional. I also worked at a place with the initials CW. They did not like to work, lost funded files, cursed, and complained. I even fought with someone at CW.

The CW commercials also suck.

Wamu commerials are Classic! Get a home loan or bank with them.
