Oh my gosh! I was just teasing, really. I am a huge fan of all Lisa's books, going back to WHEN STRANGERS MARRY. If you like I could delete my comment -- I was just fooling around. It's a lovely video for the audience it's aimed at, I just happen to be a male fan who is a bit embarrassed by the "fluffier" side of romance. Again, sorry!

The book is so much more raw and gritty than this Hallmark Card video suggests. The endless sky shots, the lifeless elevator music guitar, all sort of like a parody of romance novel themes. Why not a truly daring video, featuring more male nudity and songs like "Sympathy For The Devil" by the Rolling Stones, or "Hoochy Coochy Man" by Muddy Waters? This video is like Haven's nightmares when she's high on Vicodin. Some shots are dull, some just laugh out loud funny -- like that silly looking gun!
