There are very subtle differences, but nothing as significant as player positioning on fields of play in other sports or different types of offensive tactics.

Most of the moves done in a match are called by each of the wrestlers as the match progresses so therefore takes a lot of 'skill' and effort to pull them off...this is pretty difficult which is why wrestlers suffer multiple injuries during one match...did you look up Kurt Angle or were you busy watching Tiger Woods put a ball in a hole?

I'm not claiming that WWE doesn't exist. I'm saying that everything they do is staged, and not much skill is needer (Except the ability to act, but even that is shocking from what from what I've seen). Therefor, WWE is not a sport, and shouldn't be on this video.

@PlasticExplosive123 Are you serious? The results of matches are pre planned and there is a script that they follow yes...but anything can happen in a match. Most of the moves done in a match are called by each of the wrestlers as the match progresses so therefore takes a lot of 'skill' and effort to pull them off...this is pretty difficult which is why wrestlers suffer multiple injuries during one match...did you look up Kurt Angle or were you busy watching Tiger Woods put a ball in a hole?

If you meant wrestling as a whole then all I can do is point to the Olympics my friend. The reason it is a sport is because it requires huge amounts of fitness, power, strength, speed as well as mental toughness just to make something 'fake' look at least half real for the audience who can be overly and harshly critical.

You won't see anything in wwe that compares to a world record broken or a last minute super bowl win for example...but it depends what you classify as a 'sport'. If it's realism and unpredictability you want then sure wwe isn't included...but if it's athletic prowess and all those elements then wwe wrestlers can be considered better 'sportsmen' than most others

Okay well a mixture of both our definitions is actually what Sport is. A competitive physical activity that requires skill, strength and speed. WWE has only one of those things, there for, not a sport. Which is what this conversation is all about.

Yes all the wrestlers magically appear on each others shoulders and all the lifts are an illusion...wow you're right they don't require strength. It takes 'skill' to make the moves look real and 'skill' to land properly so you don't hurt yourself or your opponent. Brock lesnar had to spend months training to be fit enough for MMA Because he was clearly a strong and touch 'real' athlete that couldn't compete with the rest... Second of all Americans, Canadians, Russians, Slovaks, Czechs Sweeds, Fins, and many other countries contribute a lot to ice hockey.
