  • well i downloaded something (dexter) and i got an email from my net provider, saying they were emailed by the company in charge (showtime inc.) saying i was in violation of copyright. lol should i stop downloading?

  • @13ecroft Nah dude, they can't do anything :D

  • um, don't you start seeding as soon as you have a piece of the file? you start uploading as soon as you've downloaded something :P

  • I'm surprised you used WMM. Assuming you pirate, you could have at least used Sony Vegas. :P

  • the pirate bay will have the same problem as wikileaks, if they do succeed in taking it down, a million mirrors will pop up at once,

governments and corporations don't understand the internet, so there fighting in foreign ground, they don't have a hope of winning.

  • actually if you notice all the banks if your not carefull and dont calculate your taxes or money right you will notice they always take more of your money that is supposed to be taken.

  • FUCK THE SYSTEM!!

  • Heeeell yeah bro

  • if i publish a 0,79€ costing app to app store and its on piratebay i dont care a shit if everyone likes it im fine and some assholes will buy it...

  • if someone wonders what song this is...

    its 'overused'' by ''dickwads''

  • Thumbs up if you have Torrented. *Puts thumb up*

  • I have no issue with someone being rich but I do have an issue with these mega corps complaining. Find me one that is squeaky clean and got their money by honesty and are paying their employees as they should. No, the truth is they have so much money they can do whatever illegal action they want because THEY can keep lawsuits tied up in court till "kingdom come" Oh and WHEN piracy is an issue somehow it always hurts their employees but somehow NOT the CEO. Put that one in your pipe and smoke it.

  • ohh NO I stole your song? now you only have 49 Billion instead of 50 BIllion OHHH NO! im still POOR AS FUCK and cannot afford the pricey shit they put out, either way they sail on a golden yot down rich fuckin lane and im stuck in a 1 bedroom apt. with a minimum wage job and no money to spend because of taxes.

And anyway if i didnt steal it i wouldnt buy it so either way they are not getting my money, im not giving them money for their overpriced crap

  • I Will fucking stab someone in the neck with a god damn spoon if i hear this fucking godamn piece of shit excuse for a motherfucking cunt song

  • The movie industry losing 6 billion a year is bullshit. How many downloaders were

going to pay retail in the first place? How many downloads are deleted as shitty corrupted files, or never get played at all, just taking up space on a hard drive? Maybe

the industry should try harder to provide the public something worth paying for.

  • Step 1: Pause the video at 0:00 then go to full screen.

Step 2: Hold the left and up arrow key.

Step 3: Let go of them both then start tapping them.

Enjoy your game of snake :)

    Thumbs up if it worked.

  • @paulius360 DUDE!!!!!! THAT WAS KEWL AS FUCK!

  • Company behind the artist gets their pockets full to the brim, piracy shows no real effect on the market from what ive noticed even tho every dude in a suit claims that the industry is going down the drain cuz of all us horrible sharing is caring ppl.

So fuck them and their fucking greedy wallets, if they want more money they can sell a few of their Ferrari's or perhaps get one less pool in their third summer house in Spain!

  • fuck them coprite asses! especailly STEAM! nigga i hacked there shit and got 1168 thousand games for free!

  • Hey guys, I'm new to using torrents.. I just wanna ask, am I gonna get in trouble if I download some stuff, like music, games, videos? I just wanna be sure..

  • @krolithikah28 Yes. You will.

  • @krolithikah28 yes. if someone catches you, you will be prosecuted and sued. so best stay out of pirate sites, like me, and you wont get in trouble.

  • piratebay must not be shut down or we all will be pissed!!! add me :D

  • only non copyrighted files??? how come COD 4 was there?

  • @sonex1203 Err, what?

  • now 50 cent and eminem will have to wait another 2 weeks to get a 24k gold dinner table.

  • Pirates unite. Long live The Pirate Bay.

  • Pirates, you are expected to help!! Pirate Bay is going to hell without your help!! go to the site and click the image at the fronf, then a link under the vid, the fill in a formulae (your fake id ;D) and support our greatest community

  • the problem is that Corporations are granted legal presence as an individual with all the rights of a person... but the person they are is clinically diagnosed as a psychopath. This psycho controls everything, and will do as much as it can get away with to get what it wants. And what do these corporations want? They want PROFIT no matter what. So if they can get away with KILLING, they will. End of story. Artists are victims of this mechanism also.

  • If you SHUT DOWN the pirate bay you might aswell shut down GOOGLE, because basicly they do the same shit, they both provide links to illegal stuff (in this case torrents) they can't sue pirate bay they have to sue the seeders, good luck on tracking them. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • although i download gigabytes a day from tpb .its not moraly right to do so .it isnt fair to the artist and they sould be payed more from the companys that sponser them ...as a mater of fact im downloading right now ... if it was cheaper to buy then i would buy it but there way to over priced to buy a cd or to go to the movies its insane to do that. if your not rich .im just a average joe making thiryfive thousand a year.i cant buy crap and espicaly not going to pay 16 dollars for 1 song i like

  • i just downloaded this song from tpb

  • @HasteTheDays Haha Good on you pal :P

  • LOL i bet you downloaded this song via a torrent.

  • If they wind up guilty all the way through appeals then its another nail in the coffin of democracy.

  • Wanna take down the pirate bay?

Well then you have to take down google and every other search engine out there...

    Yahoo,Ask,Bing, and loads more...

  • this video is going to get removed as it contains the RIAA copyrighted words (pirate), (bay), (host) and a fullstop

  • GET A FUCKIN LIFE PEOPLE! You buy the things YOU WANT! Its great they went to jail!

  • @coin409 =)

  • @coin409 Fuck You Too pal

  • @coin409 u get a life and steal sumting pussy

  • @coin409 guess what. They got out. And the judge was even found biased. HE doesnt go to jail though. wtf anyone who works in any way for the government stealing our money just because they are the very definition of Greed are complete 100% shitty dickwipers. Just like you.

  • this is so frustrating artists and movie companys are rich as fuck and they are complaining because they loose a bit of money ! whats the matter dont want to be like the average citizen actually working hard every single day to put food on the table and because we want one small thing in life for free we are STEALING well im sorry for funding the government with my wages. If im right they are stealing as well then ? think about that one

  • @stargazersXTRA id like to point out that the artists tend not to be rich as they barely get any money from their songs unless they own their own record label

  • @starlingrock id like to point out that they are still wealthier than the rest of the population

  • @starlingrock If you think that only artists that own a record label are rich, than you are mistaken. Check out many (c)Rappers out there who are filthy rich without having their own record label... they just have fools who make them richer by buying their shit.

  • @starlingrock Considering that its the record labels that try to shut them down, not the musicians and its mainly movies and games that are the trying to shut them down, the real rich guys.

  • The government is taking more of your money than you realize. I tried to figure out how much, but they have made it confusing. One example, average taxes that are apparent in a gallon of gas average about $0.48 per gallon. The tax you pay from the federal gov is more than any estimate of oil co profits that I have read. That is not including any taxes that are paid in order to produce a gallon of gas. Is this stealing? I think so. Is it OK? Not at all. Does this make the Pirate Bay OK??

  • @stargazersXTRA uhmm.. 700,000 copies of crysis 2 were pirated and that is $42,000,000

  • Complain insistently about piracy and how you lose money. Bite me. Take Microsoft as an example. Sell vista to half the world and its a piece of shit then millions pay for it and get robbed... then a year later windows 7 is replaced. But oh were going to let you upgrade your shitty software that cost hundreds by only charging you a hundred more. And how is THAT not piracy?! If it's in the name of corporate it's legal theft. You download a torrent though and now your a crook.

  • @shardsofsteel hahaha what a clever way to think of it, bright person...

  • No, thats liek blaming the sidewalk for someone tripping on it. But i dont give a fuck, its still up and running, not shure about the U.S, but canada has this shit down! I go on it all the time

  • @Chekirows oh trust me man. I just downloaded something 1 week ago on saturday night. If I download anything, I'll do it when there are like a million people doing it at once. I see it as a fisherman trying to catch a tuna in a sea of bass. If you download on a monday afternoon or something you may highly get caught. (sry if you knew this I just get pissed off when thinking of these things. I just speak my mind you know?)

  • it dont exist :,(

  • Got a question... Now that they have a download limit on Internet connections, do torrents contribute to the download limit?

  • why don't those copyright fuckers just stop they will never stop us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what's the name of the song????

  • hey so when u download the torrent from there how do u get the movie ?? or can someone just tell me of a good site ??

  • @master67777 iptorrents

  • noobs

  • OPEN SOURCE FOREVER

  • but if i use piratebay gonna i pay much money ???

  • my best web site i love hacking :)

  • to edhallick that a f*ckin lie man

i been usein Pirate Bay from like day one of Pirate Bay and that never happen to me :D

you are prob some jackass from some recordin sh**

but know what be happey someone its getin your music or movies or whatever cuz its alot of unknow ppls who wud love to have someone getin they work free or not

  • Comment removed

  • countersue google!!

  • these assholes try to shut down the pirate bay cause they lose money.but they are stinking rich and just want more.take EA for example, they put the unique serial thing just to block piraters even if they gain millions of dollars per month. FUCK these companys! they are all going to hell!

  • It is a sick lie that pirates steal from milionaires. They steal from millions of average workers and then demonize the workers to feel better about their greedy crimes.

  • @markxq

Your comment on this movie is worthless, PLENTY of sources STATE. That the owners of the pirate bay get their money from SELLING ADVERTISING SPACE for workers and businesses.

Maybe if you actually SOLD software and had any scratch of a life in business. YOU'D UNDERSTAND IT

  • @masterex2 ive heard that pirates have developed a Key Generator thingy. how evil of them. now how are the artists supposed to protect their games :(. damn pirates. :(

  • I stopped reading when the misspellings started, TBP?

  • it's possible they turned gay and started thinking The Butt Pirates

  • Ok! Is there actually such a connection between gays and historical pirates? I'm thinking why did they use earrings, what's more feminine ever? Gay guys have actually taken on the earrings trend..

  • I don't recall ear rings labeled as gay i mean look at all the 80 boy band performers. They all wore earring's long before the gay culture ever hit the scene no one labeled them gay hell look at the greasers from the 50's they also wore ear ring's so all in all the gay culture is just bringing back an old trend.

  • That's right we didn't have boy bands or greasers in Sweden, thanks for updating.

  • not a problem

  • The ear ring (always made of solid gold) was there to pay any person to bury the dead pirate if found.

Oh yeah, that was the fashion back in those days. I am pretty sure 500 years from now people will think your style of fashion was pretty gay as well.

  • I'm lesbian.

  • you culd shutt down piratebay but next day it's up and runing a gen ^^

    hahah

    The Pirate Bay FTW<''3333

  • careful, that song might be copyrighted! lol

  • TPB Would never go down !!!! =))

  • it will :( very soon

  • goo pirate bay

  • Song name?

  • paralyzer - finger eleven

  • soon to be Wind Up, thx to YouTube and copyrights!

  • I'm Supporting !

  • Because TPB was closed for a couple of hours, the jackass-es from my country wanna try and close the torrent sites hosted in Romania(yeah that's where I live). I'm very glad because TPB is up and running. As long as they do nothing for us to be able to live better, earn more money and erradicate corruption, they will never be able to stop piracy.

  • rip pirate bay, u were so good, but i guess to good to be true and u know what they say.

  • can we still download stuff from it?

  • omg yeh they cant shut it down bc its almost the exact same thing as google.. they just show the stuffs to us but we download it from the other ppl that seeds so if the pirate ship goes down google will probably go down with it lul

  • hey i was just asking!

  • For anyone who seeds, compare it to loaning your friends a video if you want, like an idiot but here is the 2 main differences, 1 when you loan someone something you can not use/watch it until you get it back. and 2 If you loaned 100,000 of your friends the same movie at the same time well that's not loaning is it? that ripping off the people who made the movie. I don't care who goes to jail, all I care about is when actors go on strike because they can't get paid cuz you fucks keep stealing.

  • so.. you havent EVER in you entire LIFE downloaded a illegal torrent?...

  • pirates ftw

  • Btw I pirate stuff to, I am a big hippocrit but I am really tired of you idiots complaining lik it will make a difference, if you are stupid enough to get caught then you should have paid for it in the first place.

  • They where already doomed when they walked into the courtroom since hollywood..i mean the swedish government changed the law so they would get sentenced

  • No law was changed. The law has been the same for 300 years. Pirate Bay steal from millions of workers. Why shouldn't these scum be convicted?

  • Or until more jail sentences get handed out and the sites owners jack it in, like Peter Sunde of TPB has just done. Just like child porn, it will never be stopped, but more are more people are getting caught. Some places have started to ban people caught for piracy from the net. How would you like your net taken away for 12 months when you get caught, you'll cry like a child. Enjoy it while it lasts...

  • Does it really matter if TPB survives this.

Yes, it would be nice to keep the pioneer, but even if they don't make it: the snowball already started rolling down the hill, getting bigger and bigger. New torrentsites have already popped up.

Legal action against 1 snowball wont stop an avalanche (i just <3 metaphors)

And just like every new creation: it will change, but it won't die till there's something better.

  • What a bellend - Lets support the development of NEW technologies that support PRIVACY, UNCENSORED SHARING, ANONYMITY, TOTAL FREEDOM, yeah right. And we all know once that happens, everyone will stop making movies and games. Then you'll have nothing to share, and you'll all bitch about having to watch re-runs of gilligans island. Dipshit

  • No one is FORCED to use any service. TYese lies are absurd. And it is not "file sharing." It is file stealing. Do you think stealing a car and letting your friends use it is "sharing?"

Sites are being shut down all over the world. Your sick generation will pass and I hope the next generation grows up with morals.

  • Couldn't have put it better. These modern day gypsy theving twats get what they deserve at last. Bye bye TPB and good riddance you attention seeking whining babies.

  • Comment removed

  • This is called a strawman argument. The law is perfectly reasonable, and you have no legitimate argument against it. SO, you invent a law and argue against that invention. There is NO law making it illegal to listen to or borrow a friend's CD or book. The law is against COPYING. That's why it's called COPYRIGHT.

  • Comment removed

  • Copying is illegal. Loaning to someone is OK, if neither of you copies. Downloading and uploading are both copying. That's been the law for 300 years. The medium is not relevant.

  • Pirate Bay's reign of tyranny is over!! Now the money will come POURING IN as the people of the world are FORCED to pay through Itunes and various overpriced music CD's for ALL their music! And if they DARE fileshare the music with their friends we'll prosecute them to the full extent of the law!!

...Or ten more filesharing sites just like Pirate Bay will emerge, and things will continue in this endless cycle of cat and mouse and nothing changes.

  • @PlatinumIvory sorry but the ship rose from the trenches buddy. Even if Pirate Bay is taken down (high-as-heavens unlikely) then there is still sites like Mininova. Some people out there aren't so stupid as to just let one site do all the directing. Welcome to the 21st century.

  • Im not sure what kind of Good Cop/Bad Cop scenario was utitlized or how TPB creators were threatened but they are no longer to be trusted, in any way shape or form. Anyone who uses TPB for any reason, ever, should expect to be pulled into court, and bound up, head-to-toe with IP logs and server records provided by The Traitor Bay. Hey, if you really feel like you have NOTHING TO LOSE by sticking around the party after the cops have raided the house, feel free

  • can someone help me please?? i cant seem to open torrent pages, all i get is text on the screen. help me please

  • change your dns address to

    208.67.222.222

    208.67.220.220

  • how??

  • lol? torrents arent pages, you need to open torrents in a torrent downloading program, and if your browser automaticly opens a torrent as a page, right click on the torrent link, and click save-as, and then open the torrent manually off your HDD

if vishno1006 reply was for you, he's talking BS. (well, not total bs, but nothing about your predicament)

  • Lol, classic comment. Too thick to even steal what you want. No wonder you can't pay for it.

  • This is like blaming the maker of the bullets for killing someone.

  • naw cause they didnt make the torrents its like blameing the company that owns the trucks used to transport the bullets to the store

  • lol nice

  • EXACTLY

  • No, it is like blaming the people that make guns and bullets, and tell children in videos that there is no law against killing people, telling them killing is somehow good for the people that are killed, and helping them kill people.

  • But then they're like "Thats a load of bullshit" but the person putting the blame doesn't give a fuck because he/she has lots of money and power and finally gets away with it.

  • Well, Pirate Bay has a lot of money. But they're not getting away with it.

  • TPB all the way, as an artist am uploading my tracks ASAP (hopefully)

  • TPB 4 EVA!!!!!!

  • TPB 4 were railroaded unfairly because they were honesty. Crooked bought trial from the git. Unfortunately, filling the void (since I am new to torrents) is money grubbing encryted torrents. I do not know where to look. Anyone out there have any ideas until Pirate Bay is back...I just cannot see how they can make this stick.

  • Anti-Piracy wont work EVER! It may delay but wont work. Did you know GTA 4 had a 2,000,000 dollar securom protection and it got cracked in 5 days? Spore's MASSIVE DRM rootkit was cracked before that game even came out!!!

  • sorry to brak it to you but gta4 had a 150,000 dollar security... where did you came up with 2kk anyway? :S

  • why give warner bross, 20th sentury etc. money if it's for free on the internet!!!

  • LONG LIVE THE PIRATE BAY!

  • the ship will never be sunkin as long as people have a computer the digital revolution will not die and so wont the pirate bay.

  • piratebay will never be shut down i am part of pirate bay i have torrents on my computer my hard drive is a mini server for information and so is everyone else who has ever downloaded a torrent if they really wanted to shut down piracy they would have to take EVERY SINGLE COMPUTER EVER MADE

  • They're not gone you know... and even if something happened to their servers located in Sweden there are backups all over the world.

  • why?

  • hack the planet the piratebay guys are heros

  • how did the TPB lose man.....heard the verdict got leaked..that tells us something right there..CORRUPTION!

And how the hell was the verdict Guilty..i thought file-sharing was not in any way breaking Swedish rules...!!

  • They werent breaking any laws, but of course the ifpi/mpaa dont care about that

  • Yes, file sharing is illeagle here in Sweden but because TPB just provided links to torrents they are according to Swedish law not guilty. In their first trial they where convicted, they have another one coming so we keep our hopes up! BTW. corruption like you wrote sums it all up pretty good...

  • According to Swedish law (1960:729) they are guilty to participation in transference of works protected by copyright . The law could, for some people, be complicated though.

Sweden has the second lowest corruption in the world btw!

  • yeah...but all this kinna confusing......then torrents are copyright infringement then google and yahoo are applicaple under the axe too..doesn't it..!

Man i love Sweden..would love to make a pilgrimage there...lovely weather, best melodic death metal out there..and TPB!!

  • If they are guilty, then so is every search engine on the internet...

  • the 4 people who made piratebay er guilty, not the site.

  • google links the pirate bay torrents. GOOGLE IS ILLEGAL TO USE?? =_= wow... just wow...

  • the whole thing was bullshit!!!!!!!!

  • "it's just as guilty as google for providing links"

Well to be fair, google has many *legitimate* uses, while TPB is almost exclusively used for pirated material (it's in the name!) They exist only thanks to illegal activity, and they enable it.

But it's true that technically they aren't breaking the law, and that until that ridiculous law is changed to include links to copyrighted content equally illegal as the content itself, they should not get prosecuted and certainly not convicted.

  • I use the pirate bay to distribute programs I makle, and to download music and for cd's and stuff that got scratched or lost. I only download stuff I didnt pay for if it cant be bought anymore.btw google uses spyware and provides links to child porn while tpb removes those, whose in the right there. TPB will usualy remove something if its moraly wrong google will only remove it if they can get money by doing it. However I respect your right to have an opinion, your a lot more coherent.

  • As a legit user of TPB you are a very small minority; I just visited its Recent Torrents page, and couldn't see a single item that was not copyrighted material -- DVD rips, music discographies, cracked software etc.

If I was one of the "evil major corporations" producing this content I would see red too. The odd thing is that more and more people seem to feel that they are entitled to free content. The problem is, if all content is free, no money can go into producing it.

  • Right, but what is evil about the corporations is that they sue children and eldery for exorberant amounts, 27 songs at a dolar a song, that petty theft, max 1000 dollar fine, they sued for 20 something thousand, they have lied before a judge to get a guilty verdict in a case against a elderly woman with multiple celerosis. They ban people from music lists that disagree with them. They ddosed the torrent sites first, they hire hackers, they put fake torrents that can destroy your computer. ..

  • ...They lobbyed the U.S government to force trade sanctions on sweden if they did not raid their own citizens (who werent breaking swedish law). And they sue isps for not negotiating with them. Thats facism. And i cant agree with that. I simply wont buy or illegaly download music (though anyone who does is doing better than funding these corporations) I deeply hate the riaa mpaa and ifpi and what they stand for. They are facists. (sorry for bad grammer, supposed to be doing school, tryin 2 b fast

  • I agree that they are using bully tactics. However, looking up fascism in the dictionary, I find:

"an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization."

The RIAA/MPAA are not a system of government or social organization, and they're certainly not nationalistic. They represent private interests, and they want *money*.

(Powerful groups lobbying government for policies in their interest is part of most systems, in particular capitalist democracy.)

  • It's also not fascism to *sue* anyone. In a free country, you can sue anyone you please, pretty much.

Now, you say that petty theft can only be fined $1000, but that's for one act. Here you have the equivalent of someone performing petty theft every day for years. In some parts of the U.S., repeating the same crime 3 times lands you in jail for life.

  • Right but they were being sued for 27 songs, thats $27 of theft, thats petty theft. Also they dont always sue they send people a bil (many times people who dont download) with false informationa nd lies and say that if they dont pay up they will be taken to court. T

  • Theres a line between just being greedy and being opressive and fascist. They are facist because they force people to agree with them and if they dont they sue/hack/lobby/lie until they have absolute control. Fascism is using your power to force everyone to agree with you. When a danish isp said they wouldnt negotiate with them they immedietly sued them and won. Goverment members and tv presidents have been forced from their jobs for disagreeing. This doesnt sound like democracy to me.

  • If they sued and won, that means that a court (which in a democracy is an independent authority that settles disputes) decided that they were right.

You don't like the outcome because they're bullies, fine, but in a democracy they are allowed to use all legal means at their disposal.

(Again, they're not fascists, since they're not government and they're not nationalistic.)

  • A court is democratic but in the majority of cases the people are scared into settling out of court. Also a fascist is someone who belives in and practices facsism.

  • Look, I agree with you that their methods are despicable, and they should be put back in place. But I'm telling you, if you call them fascists, anyone who knows anything will just roll their eyes and ignore you. Just some advice, take it or leave it. Cheers

  • Also, they dont always use court, they put up viruses on sites, they hack peoples computers, they illegaly harvest ip's nearly all of the evidence used in a court case by them is gathered illegaly, if someone stole two dollars from you (or more) would you take it back, sue them, or break into their house destroy all their stuff, steal all there information then take thm to court and win?

  • Ok, how about if the entire world came by your house every day, to steal two dollars? (Plus those people thought it was ok to do that).

What would you do? Take each one to court for two dollars?

  • I would make my house a valubles more secure. I wouldnt pick one or two and completly ruin their lives, and the money isnt from anything they did (other than suing) its the artists who disaprove of what their doing often. So in that scenario they would be stealing money that i was being giving by the people who actualy earned and all i was doing was suing people that they dont want me to sue and keeping the money.

  • sorry my responses ar egeting les coherent im trying to be quick about typing.

  • Whoops I used there instead of their, that was dumb.

  • Biggest bullshit the major corporations have pulled of to date.

  • Im going to release a new TPB video in the next day or two.

  • ifpi . org is unavailable. DDOSED?:)

  • O yea and at 0:55 when you say "TBP is being accused of illegaly hosting files" they aren't being accused of that. They are accused of "promoting other people's infringements of copyright laws" (From wikipedia)

  • My mistake, sorry

  • Does anybody know the name of the judge?

  • quote from a quick "pirate bay judge" google search:

"It turns out that the judge in the case, Tomas Norstrom, might have a slight conflict of interest. Hes a member of the Swedish Copyright Association and sits on the board of Swedish Association for the Protection of Industrial Property."

    Interesting trial
