So the graphics suck, who cares? in a great game like borderlands it doesn't mater, like izeckx said, "graphics don't make a game" besides that, the story line is amazing millions of weapons, the first first person shooter rpg (that i know of that does suck ass) and you are able to play with friends and complete strangers over the web. every thing you want in a game is here in borderlands.

... There's a Jakobs Skullmasher that has a damage rating of 343 x 6. That's 2058 if all the bullets hit.

Aside from that, there's a rifle (without a scope, notably) called Whitting's Elephant Gun which can have a damage of 1229 with just one bullet.

There aren't more guns in the Steam version. The only added features are a "card" feature for displaying your weapons, improved graphical capabilities and benchmarking software. No new guns.

Fallout 3's combat somewhat suffered from the classic RPG syndrome. Because it's an RPG, the enemies can take a missile to the face. That's exactly what I hope Borderlands isn't.

depends on how strong the enemy is etc etc in fallout and its probably like that in borderlands to but hey theres a hell of alot wepons in the game so you might end up with a fairly weak rpg or an fucked up strong one so all there is, is to wait and see but personally i belive this game will rock i have already reserved one copy and it only 17 days left now :)

Actually, the two can be compared since they are the same basic platform (an Post-Apocalyptic RPG and FPS combines). But, thats all they can be compared to. FO3 is an RPG above the rest, just with FPS elements (Like Oblivion) while, at least it looks like, Border is an FPS with RPG elements. Two different are styles, two different states of minds (FO3 is serious, Border is for fun).

The Ai doesn't suck, but there's nothing all that special about it either and it does have some glitches but not huge ones.

The units take cover if any is available, they move around a bit from time to time making it a pain in the ass for sniper players, they run closer if they don't have a very range effective weapon, not very close though , but the melee units have gotten stuck in terrain and vehicle units have run in a few rocks xD

Well mostly that makes the games more realistic, i mean you wouldn't snipe anyone with a shotgun, and i you wouldn't get shot or sniped so run for cover, and car accidents happens.

To be honest that's not really glitches that's how the games supposed to go, though it could need abit more polishing.

Try shooting a bear and killing it in 2 shots unless you hit it in a critical spot. Never seen a shooter where you can kill in few shots either.
