@Scout2504 It's an acronym for Improvised Explosive Device. Used a lot by insurgents in conflicts today. Basically you wire some electronics to some old munitions and blow shit up.

I like to get up on a hill with the .50 cal set off an IED at the front of the convoy, shoot a survivor in the leg and kill the rest and then I finish off the guy I shot in the leg

Why don't you blow up the last vehicle, so that way you won't have anything blocking your shots?

Or just use one IED, blow up the vehicle you have to, then tuck tail and run?

my favorite stratagy is to find high grounds use my RPG to take out the first truck, causing the convoy to slow down if not trap it, take out the convoy (or the last truck if the convoy is traped.) then finish off the survivors with some led from my AK47

mine is to place a car blocking the road and 2 ied's a distance from another and wait for the convoy to pull up. and blow the place to shit XD. but trucks start to come from everywhere because the re-spawn system is so retarded

the dart rifle is the same wuality in a situation like this...the only thing it has going for it is its silenced..which u dont need when ur takin on a convoy. also it can only hold like 4 shots with out the ammo upgrade

ive seen lots of complaints about traveling in this game i think ill like this game since i like to drive around from place to place like in fallout where you have to walk all over sometimes you find interesting things

no theres no interesting things but diamonds and gold AK's and also i loved fallouts traveling but i hate this its either so open enemy's are as stealthy as you or the space is soo cramped a fight is unpreventable

I love the traveling in FC2, it's not like in most other games where you just teleport from place to place and actually do not travel at all. Well, in FC there are 'teleporters' (bus stations) but they are rare and well positioned (in the middle of nowhere usually), so you have to hit the road rather often. Out there are so darn lots FPS games where you just go and shoot. Thanks God for FC2 where i can really feel the distance in the game and enjoy exploring the lush countryside.

For the first 'area' (Leboa-Sako)there are 3x3=9 maps, you are playing the 'pala' map, which is in the center of the 3x3 grid,for the second area (Bowa-Seko)again 9 maps, plus a desertic one. There are a total of 19 maps in the game as far as i know.

What I do is strap the IED's to the truck, drive up to the armory by the weapons dealer, and blow it up right there as proof.
