For expensive I would say a X:60, my other stick... im not in love with it but its a great stick... then theres the best stick anyone could use, a woody :)

To me kovalev is an artist (as everyone calls him) with a paintbrush (hockey stick) with a canvas (the rink) and remember you can't tell an artist what to paint on a canvas and you cannot put him on a random line. some do their shots with the heal some develop enough spin with the head. the shooting position which is the most comfortable, the least exhausting and the one with the best result is the right one for you. practise and get your own technique.

It depends on the flex of the stick you got. The more the flex the better the shot. But the higher the chance it will break. That stands for all sticks.

And the Macdaddy has always had durability issues. Check any forum, you always see people complain about it. The Dolomite(AK-27) is the best Warrior you can get. Once you use it you'll never want to use another hockey stick.
