  • Shame on you Nic

All that accident repair stuff in the bootlid is unneccessary weight which you should have removed.

One thing is talking about carrying extra weight in your car and then flouting those rules and carrying all that junk in the boot

Naughty naughty make sure is doesn't happen again

    You have been warned

  • @llandudnoboy - accident repair? Like an owner would carry a workshop full of stuff in the boot - read up a little and you'll realise it's not what you say. From Smart's own webiste it's this -> Safety plus package (for the tailgate storage compartment; incl. emergency jacket, hazard triangle, first-aid kit, torch, ice-scraper, umbrella, spare bulb box). Some sensible owners would have this but not you - you'd need a weeks course to be trained how to use it all.

  • @Cyberwwwizard

90% of the safety plus package is uneccessary such as a first aid kit ,spare bulbs etc.

In 29 yrs of driving in all weather and during the winter i have never had a driving bulb fail on me.

The only thing i do carry is the tyre weld can just incase but in two years i have never needed it.

If you damage your tyre the gunge is useless anyway.

This safety plus package is just another expensive option sold by Mercedes an option that should be standard
