I think it is very telling that the raw food / vegan community are attacking your videos, questioning your morals, insulting you and attempting to ruin your reputation because you've decided to change your lifestyle due to health problems. Congratulations to you for sticking up for your own health despite all this adversity! You're glowing! You look amazing and healthy!
It is kind of crazy viewing most of these vids these days when I'm finally not obese any more - my dirty little secret is DietOramy dietary regimen plan (search Google) - that thing really helped me to enhance my entire body, health and my very existence.
Just wondering if you ever experienced hair loss during the time you were vegan?? and if you did, did it stop when you went back to eating meat??
I have been vegan for a year and my hair is falling out a ton! I dont want to go back to eating meat, but I will if it will prevent my hair from falling... any advice?
I don't know but to take injections seems silly. Isn't the point of vegan, raw vegan is to go natural! b12 shots don't grow on trees. Seems extreme to me.. Good for you Natasha, Im glad your doing well!
@Jenbug123 "raw vegan is to go natural! b12 shots don't grow on trees" So I take it you kneel down in piss and shit and naturally suck that warm wet white pus and blood straight from the momma cow yourself? That calf throws itself up on your plate himself and disassembles like some sort of sacrificial autobot all hot and greasy and ready for you do devour? What does an animal rapists and rotting flesh eater know about natural and extreme? LOL
@FathomlessJoy Hm... well for instance milk doesn't always come from sick cows. If you find a reliable farmer like Organic Pastures has healthy cows so clean they can sell it raw. Second we would not exist without meat! You would not be living if it wernt for meat wheather it was to avoid starvaton or not. Although we are related to monkeys we are not monkeys. Look up the Secret life of plants you might learn a thing or two. Plants also have feelings and know when they are going to die.
@Jenbug123 Well it certainly sounds like you have drawn lots of conclusions. Unfortunately conclusions are the largest, most stubborn learning inhibitors. The absolute fact is we do not have to torture and rape animals today, and there is healthy, whole, wholesome food in abundance in the world for everyone, if we weren't feeding most of it to the 16 billion livestock we enslave and slaughter for a few privileged folks to get the rot on. Peace.
@Jenbug123 "plants also have feelings and know when they are going to die." Plants do not have a central nervous system. Therefore, they don't have "feelings" in the traditional sense of the word.
@Jenbug123 I have also watched the secret life of plants. Although it is an extremely interesting documentary, a lot of it is like string theory... just an idea. I think plants have a sense of self- consciousness, knowing that they exist, but I don't think they are capable of feeling pain like animals are.
Go watch some of DurianRiders videos about b12. Bottom line is that 40% of the US is deficient in B12, and I know that 40% of the US is not vegan! LOL If you must get additional B12, the shots seem to be the best way to go! DR says he has quite a few friends that eat TONS of RAW meat and animal products and they are also very low in B12. The correlation is that eating animal products has nothing to do with your B12 absorption! Great book: "Could it be B12?"
@celt130 Thanks for your response. I don't really know what to say about it. I don't really see how it is a hollow statement. It says a lot about how the modern lifestyle plays into health. Why is it that there are digestive issues in older people? Shouldn't the body work just fine until the day we die?
Would you say that everyone should be taking b12 injections or just vegans? Does being B12 deficient justify the slaughter of animals?
The argument that omnivores are also B12 deficient is a hollow statement.
The fact that elderly people are less prone to absorb the B12 vitamin is well known in geriatric circles. Or people with very bad diets.
No, the B12 vitamin should be taken by omnivores, to much B12 is also bad.
Except for the "moral" issues, not a lot of vegan arguments stand the trial of scientific evidence.Still vegans are free to do what they want, but they should stop using lies.
Vitamin B12 deficiency due to a vegan diet is simply a lie that finally needs to be put to rest. She must've done something wrong with her raw diet. Now adding animal products to her diet?
...Therefore vegans and vegetarians actually have higher levels of B12 in their bodies than people who eat a meat-based diet. Vegetarians who have heard that they don't get enough protein in their diets and know this myth is untrue can rest assured that vitamin B12 deficiency is a myth as well. Instead, vegans need to concentrate on eating plenty of healthy low fat raw foods. The truth is people don't have to eat meat or other animal products to survive and thrive.
@monika9v I have a friend whose been vegan for 30 years and she has more b-12 then she needs in her body. Doctor don't even test meat eaters for b-12 decficiency.
@allthatisbeautyntrue "She was tested by a doctor on all her vitamin levels, That how I know [my friend has more b-12 then she needs in her body]"
There are different ways of testing for B12 status. The usual B12 tests can falsely indicate high levels of B12 in vegans: beyondveg. com/walsh-s/vitamin-b12/vegans-1. shtml "What Every Vegan Should Know About Vitamin B12"
Myth that vegans face is that it is impossible to get the essential B12 vitamin, which is in fact not found in any type of food, plant or animal based. B12 is actually a microbe produced by microorganisms found in the digestive track of a person. Once it is produced it is absorbed into the blood stream via the digestive track walls. If the walls are covered with residue from high levels of protein however, this process cannot be complete...
if you detoxify and rebuild the tissue your body will produce vit b12 on it's own if you stay on a low fat raw vegan diet (info source from long time low fat raw foodies and Dr Robert Morse). There are a lot of ways to make a raw food "junk" food too, especially if you use lot of nuts and dried fruits in your diet. Vit D3? yes, absolutely, if you don't get enough sun, you will need vit D3.
@RAWRADIANTHEALTH Your seem like such a sweet person. But I'm wondering why u need meat everyday. Before 1950's only rich ppl ate meat everyday. Now that ppl eat meat everyday cancer & heart disease sky rocket. Many 3rd world ppl ate meat like once or twice a yr before being introduce 2 modern ways & they did fine. I think there must be a better solution to your b-12 deficiency. Also many meateaters have b-12 deficiencies, if meat is the solution then y do some meateaters have b-12 issues?
@allthatisbeautyntrue This is not true. different cultural groups eat differently and not everyone's body works the same. also- saying that a group was "just fine" without meat is a gross generalization. I think there is a lot of myth on both sides of the argument and the truth tends to be twisted to what people want to believe. My mother has to eat meat to maintain her shaky health and i've known people (a doctor actually) that had to start eating mean when she was pregnant.
@Lace1nSpace From my research all groups who eat very little to no meat at all are very healthy & are doing just fine. In the book Healthy at 100 by John Ribbins, researched 4 cultures of long living people all 4 ate very little to not meat at all. Also much research has shown that when people eat meat daily cancer & Heart disease increases. Read The China Study by Dr. Thomas Campell & see doc, "Forks over Knives", "Eating", "Healing Cancer"
@Lace1nSpace The myth that we need animal protein, has been pushed by the meat industry. Plants provide protein, iron, calcium, and vit B-12 can be found in nutritional yeast and spirulina.
@allthatisbeautyntrue I agree to some extent, but also disagree. yes, meat ever day is not natural, but natural humans ate what was available, and the most "primitive" of culture show us that. I've done my own research and personally, i feel like a lot of people do research to prove that their values are true. I really don't care what you think you know. another thing history has shown us is that the more fanatical a person is, the more likely it is that they are wrong about much of it.
@Lace1nSpace Are you implying that primitive cultures ate more meat.If so, consider this, studies show that people where once hunter-gatherers 1) before refrigeration meat was hard to preserve 2) If the hunter was unsuccessful they ate plants. People 2day eat more meat than they ever ate in history w/technology & Government subsidizing the meat industry. If it was not for these subsidizes. Meat would cost $35 per lb. & people would stop eating it 3x a day or everyday.
@Lace1nSpace Our hugh consumption of meat is clearly not natural, it pollutes the air and water. Animals have to be forcefully grown faster & larger than their normal rate of growth w/the use of hormones & steroids, to meet our high demand. These animals are also sick with diseases like tuberculosis, aids, mad cow disease etc(I just wonder how can a sick animal produce health for us) We are also are cutting down the rainforest to raise more cattle. How much beef do we need?
veganism/vegetarian diet's are brilliant to cleanse & to get embodied/get in touch with your body.. but as a lifestyle choice for most westerner's? It's not optimal for your bio chemical individuality. Go 90% raw but eat meat & some eggs - eat to thrive!
@Phuzz828 if you cleanse and regenerate your body, feel more energy and vibrant with raw vegan diet then why would you even include in your diet or go back to something that over-acidise your body like meat, eggs and dairy(raw or pasteurized) which is mucus forming as well...Why would you include these foods in your diet that are hard for your body to break and to diegest which leads to all kind of health issues including B12 deficiency..."eat to thrive" on something that disposed us to cleanse?
I know we only need a very small amount of B-12 per day (only about 2 micrograms for adult females) shouldn't you be able to get what you need from nutritional yeast or pro-biotic things like kombucha? Also doesn't B-12 come from bacteria, and not necessarily from just animal products?
OMG Thank you so much for sharing this Natasha. I am a new vegetarian (almost a year) and I have been feeling horrible. Went to the doctor, they took a series of blood tests and come to find out my B12 & Vitamin D are extremely low. I've had cramping in my hands, balance is off and foot always feels like it's burning. Hmmmm, your eating meat products now and that worked 4u? Wonder if I should try maybe fish or eggs. I gotta get better. Oh doc prescribed Vitamin D pills for a year. UCCKKKK
Good for you for going back to being an omnivore. This is how we humans are meant to eat. Don't feel guilty about eating animal products. Not even for a second. Funny isn't it, go vegan and you need to take suppliments to stay healthy, eat a balanced diet that includes animal foods and suppliments aren't nessessary. Hmmmm.... makes you think.
I understand totally not wanting the B12 Shots every two weeks but please let us know why you didn't try the b12 dots under the tongue or other B12 supplements??
@RAWkinRayla I can see it, too. Her hair is shiny and her skin is glowing. She doesn't look as tired, too. I'm happy that she's found a balance that's worked for her body.
@RAWkinRayla What a tacky, ignorant, classless comment. I think she looks gorgeous, and healthier than ever. Maybe you should post videos on youtube and contribute something besides rude comments.
@RAWkinRayla are you an idiot? you seriously think that adding meat is going to change hair that is DEAD? yes, once your hair is out of its scalp is dead. your diet wont change how it looks.
Well with your new found integrity please take your website down our at least prominently display that the content you have there something you do not agree with. Or I am sure you could at least describe your raw food coaching as only a little bit of bullshit and meat munching. Or at the least add a sprinkle of honesty where the hip pocket connects, that might go a way to salve your obviously seared conscience that you are making money from something you no longer support.
@CerebralPrince10 are you kidding? beta-carotene (which is turned into vitamin a in the body) is found in tons of plant foods, as well as vitamin K (greens!!). and don't say 'i wish it were possible to eat vegan', it is. it might not be possible for the entire world population as everyones genetic make up differs, but that doesnt mean its not possible, as it is for tons of people.
what the fuck are you talking about? pay attention as I am vegan and told @superfoodlifestyle he was being ignorant and egotistical. (S)he said "i wish it were possible to eat vegan"
While I am sure this is just an honest mistake, not paying attention can get a lot of people in hot water.
Thanks for your refreshing honesty. Please don't stop making videos. I've taken a very similar path to you. It's always nice to see someone with such a nice attitude who's in the same place. It helps to remind me that I'm doing the right thing.
Isn't nutritional yeast loaded with B12? Does anyone know if a person can get enough B12 with nutritional yeast and a B12 Vitamin daily? According to the China Study by Dr. Campbell animal protein has been linked to cancer. The molecular makeup of animal protein (most similar to human flesh) is different than the molecular makeup of plant-based protein. One of the healthiest cultures is Mediterranean. Check out their food pyramid-red meat few times a month-fish a few times a week.
Can you share some tips on how you prepare your meals with meat? I think it would be interesting learning how to prepare meat from someone who has so much experience with raw foods, and in general, is just really knowledgeable about health. I eat meat as well, s I'd love to know some of your tips.
With this kind of attitude in the community you think a guru who has spent most of his/her time promoting a raw vegan diet but suddenly runs into health problems because of it would come out come out and inform you of the potentially risks? No. They’ll keep misleading you into dicing with your own health on 100% raw plants (while they quietly add animal products to their diet) and u deserve to be deceived! I won’t be surprised at all if I heard the likes durianrider actually secretly eats meat!
@DreemUK Well we're omnivores be nature, so you're right, we should be eating some meat. However, it's a VERY small amount of meat. People who choose to go vegetarian, vegan or raw, are simply people who are more extreme with their beliefs. We all have different nutritional needs, and I respect her for listening to her body. No meat is not good for everyone, just like how too much meat isn't good for you. I like people like Natasha because they remind us to take care of our body.
I heard many raw food gurus out there cheat regularly and not practicing what they preach. You know what, the way some of you have responded to this woman for putting her health first over dogma and raw food experiments means you deserve to be lied to by cheating gurus...
Why does it take 6 weeks to get your b12 results??? In Aus, its free and it comes in a couple days. Are you getting a "special" test, or just serum b12?
Excellent B12 article at libaware(dot) economads dot (com)
Also, check out AlisonAndrew's channel, living on fruit.
Important to be aware of the negative health effects also of eating animals/animal products short-term and long-term. Excellent meat article at rawforlife uk
Sublingual B12 by-passes the digestive system and goes straight into the blood stream. If low in B12, it will need to be taken regularly or improvement won't be seen.
You don't have to eat products that have B12 in it. B12 will be created by your body if you have plenty of good bacteria in your gut. This is why people that eat a lot of fermented food get good B12 levels. There have been research on this, just google B12 and fermented foods. Donna Gates has probably written articles about it too.
You know that if your body tells you what it needs then you do it. She is doing the right thing for her. Some people need to get off their high horses about being a stickler to things that ends up harming them more than helping. It's not that one diet is bad or one is good. You need to find the right balance for your body. People lose sight that food after all in it's simplest form is to nourish your body.
why do you eat meat? aren't fish and eggs enough? i could never eat meat again, i'm trying to eat a lit bit of seafood and eggs for b12 and proteine and other things you cannnot get bcause we have such a shitty earth nowadays.. but yeah i could never eat meat again..
This is all confusing. According do Dr. Doug Graham who I hold in the highest, B12 is not absorbable from food but is a body process that creates it that is defective. many Studies show that a huge number of meat eaters are B12 deficient and it is something else causing it. Also sometimes we have symptoms that come and go, but we have this need to figure it out and attribute a cause to it so we can be in control and try to correct it. Hard to know what's what with so much conflicting info.
The reason meat eaters are B12 deficient is because many of them eat wheat and grains, which limit the bodies ability to absorb. I can't believe more people have not figured this out, it is not meat that is the enemy. It is wheat and grains aka Gluten rich foods.
Good girl... listen to your body ALWAYS!! I ate 15 years as a raw vegan and 6 months as a fruitarian...(fruitarianism almost wrecked my health) It is NOT possible to live without animal products.. You need to include some eggs, dairy etc ...there is now way around it.. you can listen to your own body and be healthy or listen to the guru's....
It may not be possible for YOU to live without animal products but that does not mean it is not possible for anybody to live without animal products. I don't know what your history is and what your problems are, but statements like the one you made are absoultely FALSE. Do not be so egotistical to think that your roblems are applicable to everybody else
@CerebralPrince10 You can hate all you want eating 811 nearly destroyed my life. And i know many people that have gotten away from it. I'm definetely not the exception here. Nothing FALSE about it. One person runs into problems sooner then another one... that's really it.. sometimes, it takes 15 or 20 years... So, in that regards we are NOT all the same. I wish you good luck!
1. 811 is not fruitarianism. It is not true fruitarianism as it advocates denser foods like veggies and little fats
2. I never mentioned anything about 811 anyways and never said if it was the way to go or not
3. The only thing I commented on is living without animal products, which many vegans have proven possible. There are people who have succeeded and failed on every diet, but your notion of NEEDING animal products is egotistical and shortsided of best
@CerebralPrince10 Vit A, (retinol), D3, K and B12 are all not included in a vegan diet. These are important nutrients. Since I added eggs and raw dairy to my diet, my health improved immensly and my blood markers turned completely normal. I wish a vegan diet were possible...I don't want to say what everyone else should eat, but i urge people to be cautious when they are on a vegan diet and listen to their bodies and get regular blood checks, nothing egotistical with that i think..
Honestly that's good for you, not so much the environment ;-) , but if you feel good that is what matters. I really don't feel like getting into a debate on all the flaws in mainstream nutrition, all I am saying is statements like the one you made, while well intentioned, are false and misleading. Definitive statements like "you need", "there is no way around it", or "you cant" will run you into trouble.
About 40% of people are B12 deficient and less than 5% of people are vegetarians. The problem is, as you age you loose your ability to absorb B12 from food. This is called atrophic gastritis which means the stomach secretes less hydrochloric acid, pepsin and intrinsic factor that are needed to absorb B12. This is very common in older people. All people should take B12 regardless of whether you are a vegan or meat eater. It really is a silly debate when people say vegans are B12 deficient.
in theory humans could survive with no defiencies if there weren't soil defiencities, so in this day and age where the soil is not that great we have to use animal porducts as a substitute.
I applaud you for sharing the real grit on your health thru the raw food diet. Although each individual has diff needs, Ive seen alot of extreme diet ppl having dietary issues on a 100% raw/vegan mealplan. It stresses that everyone need to learn their body's dietary needs rather than follow the herd. Thanks for sharing.
It's great to see how wonderfully healthy you are. As a person with PCOS I learned a B-12 deficiency is very common and had to take care of the but it was explained to me that since I have (PCOS) my B-12 will always be lower so I might have to be on either pill s or shots etc for he rest of my life? IDK how I feel about that however since a chiropractor also said to me that my body had a tendency not to absorb B-12 from the foods I ate? so why would it absorb form pills but not foods? HELP!
Natasha, did you ever think to take and eat Brewer's Yeast or Nutritional Yeast? Both are high in B12 and B Vitamins. Wondered if you ever considered that? We love you no matter what you eat, by the way. The most important thing in life is LOVE. God Bless.
Yo, raw chick. I sent you an e-mail. you wanna hook up, on the real? I"m RAW as Frick. ya digg? I"m dead serious,yo missy. Let's talk it out, for real, on the interwebs, and see if we could be compatiblez.
I have heard about the horrors of b12 deficiency, but this is first time I have encountered a personal testimony. Glad you are doing better. I agree, eating lots of greens with meat keeps the body in good balance.
Thank you for these videos Natasha. I was eating raw, organic, high fiber and nutrient dense foods. In addition, i was avoiding all the bad things like: chemicals, table sugar, salt, tap water, artificial sweetners, trans fats and so on. It dawned on me that my diet was still poor because it was still acidic. it's amazing how many fruits and vegetables are in the low alkaline to low acidic range. i gather that people need to be 80% alkaline to recover from a diseased state.
Natasha, it is great to see that you are regaining your health in a natural way. By eating a more "paleo" diet. It's is sad to see there are people criticizing you. To me they have an issue not you. I can understand this must have been a very difficult decision for you. I want to thank you for sharing this difficult subject. And giving the information how to incorporate more raw food in one's diet. To me there is no black/white just shades of gray. You look excellent and doing well. Love you :)
Natahsha I am SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOOOOU!!! I'm going to share this with my wellness group. Balance is key. You are absolutely right. I followed your advice about my iron levels and I'm doing much better too! Glad to know you are happy and well :) love ya!
i think u doing the wrong step in going to animal foods, because the only reason u hate is to get the b12 injection. so why don't u get methylcobalamin / the organic vitamin b12 directly absorbable in your mouth as drops? no pain and the best source of vitamin b12 ever......
It is so empowering to hear your story as it enfolds... Your honesty is very valuable to others who are on their own journeys... Thank you so much for sharing! :-)
The real story is all the ex-vegans and vegetarians out there. As a former raw foodist and vegan I can relate to all the creative folks who are out there experimenting (except for scam and spam artists) and are willing human guinea pigs. My disdain is for the FANATICS who are imposing dangerous diets on their babies and children. Now you have crossed a line. Eating healthy whole foods is one thing(good) Eliminating entire food groups and disregarding centuries of human evolution is another.
why are some people all angry?? its not her fault for this, its not that big anyway!! Do you know how brave she was to post this and to admit she was eating meat again?? No you dont, because youve never done anything brave in your life!
Your honesty is awesome. Why don't you just eat raw eggs and drink raw milk? Then you could get your b 12 and field day a vegetarian. Just a thought. :)
I just found your channel and have to say I love this! Thank you for being so honest and open. Taking care of your health should always be top priority over anything else. I wish you lots of luck getting yourself balanced out!

Cnt'd ...I would especially like to know - from your experience - whether 100% raw is worth it in terms of energy levels and everyday life enjoyment or whether you feel equally good when eating small amounts of non-raw here and there... I don't want to waste years of being 100% raw to find out when I could be 95% raw and equally/ more healthy.
(cont''d) ...since it supports my other research in that fruitarianism is not healthy in the long run. It seems that a more varied raw diet (including more veg, fats and protein sources) is perfectly heatlhy and possible, just not easy given everyone's body needs a different balance of nutrients. Natalia, thanks for your great posts, let the extremists unsubscribe. And let us know if you choose to return to 100% raw at some point or whether you recommend eating a little meat products as well.
Who is anyone to tell her what to eat?! Most raw foodists are not 100% and she has not lied about being one. Why should raw food be so extreme as to not allow variation? I think it's cool she reports honestly about being raw and then about being not raw. If you're a raw foodist/ vegan and can't allow for others to eat what they like, you're a totalitarian idiot and do much harm to the cause. I am a beginning raw foodist and this information is extremely useful for me, since it ... (cont'd)
Hi there I was just wondering what blood type you have? I've heard that your blood type can determine the best diet for you. For example type o blood needs meat becuse their bodies can handle meat the best. Where as type a usually less acidity in their stomache and does not process meat as well.
natasha there are tons of plant based produicts that you can get B12 from Nutritional yeast for one and your kelp and other seaweed products are also great for B12. I'm not saying that you did not have to start eating animal products but you could have added more of these products and would have been fine or looked into b12 injections as well. Love your videos Peace and God Bless I live a mainly raw lifestyle. But I will indulge in some meat here and there because of past lifestyle.
I assume those hateful and judgemental folk here are vegan or on a raw food diet if they are attacking you for having animal products in your diet. I hope they never have health issues which will lead them in this direction. Good on you for having the power to post this and be honest. I hope your health improves soon and you can again be animal product free as I am sure its not all fun and games for you. x

Natasha, you are being an advocate for your personal health, which is what we all should be for ourselves. Sadly, there are too many extremist out there on all sides - the SAD diet, the RAW diet, the As Seen on TV diets/pills, etc. What I respect most about you is your "RAW" honesty about your diet changes to your audience of viewers. This to me says a lot about your integrity. To the haters & RRH dependents, be an advocate for your own health and use your common sense (yeah, that's your mind)
Sounds like Natasha is self diagnosing again. Id like to see her put up some blood tests vs just giving subjective info on why she cant eat healthy. :(
I'm still going to continue to follow you, I love watching your videos. But I do think you should change the name of your channel. You aren't Raw anymore, and I don't feel like you should be advertising that you are. I'm not trying to be mean, I still love you!
@westindixie There is LOTS of money to be made in the raw industry. You can eat cow flesh and drink coffee and smoke (look at peoples dark circles under their eyes) and still make a killing lol!
Being low on B12 is no fun at all however i dont think it is simply limited to vegans. Its a world wide epidemic and crosses dietary boundaries. The difference between being low on b12 and high on it is the difference between living in a dream and being ejected back into reality. B6 booster is great for sex drive, loosing weight, and enlarges penis. Choline booster is excellent for focus, and dreams. If you can recall how obvious and clear things were as a kid, boosters bring that back.
Cont-Right before Memorial day I went back on a Lacto-vegetarian diet-(I eat yogurt and cheese) and have lost 15lbs. The Prednisone made me gain all the weight back as I was ravenous ALL the time. I DO have a very strong immune system, my blood work is ALL normal now. My recommendation to all potentional Raw Vegans, it to monitor your blood work regularly and don't overdose on suppliments, like I did. The only suppliment I take now is 1000 IU of Vit D3.
Last year I was 100% Raw Vegan and I developed Sarcoid of the Kidney (an autoimmune disease) I was in the ER with Acute Renal Failure. My doctors at first thought my diet and supplement were the cause. I had every X-Ray, scans. Had a Kidney Biopsy and a Bone Marrow Biopsy which confirmed the diagnosis. I'm still not sure if it was my diet or if the disease came on by itself. I took Prednsone for a year and went back to a SAD diet. Now a year later, I've gained back ALL the weight I lost, -Cont-
Hey Natasha, are you sure it is the animal products that are helping you feel better? I recently heard that meat eaters are EQUALLY deficient in B12 as vegans, even more. It would be interesting to hear your opinion on this. Don't you think you could get enough B12 from nutritional yeast, sea vegetables, kefir, greens and fermented foods? According to David Wolfe raw foodists get their energy from proteins, carbs (fruit), and fats. Depends on the person which suits as a primary source.
you have my total support! i believe that the bodies of most of us still aren`t at the level where they could function in a balanced way without any animal protein.
@jblandzorz dipshit. No, radiation hasn't affected her thinking, possibly the fact that she couldn't hold things, or that she lost her sense of smell, couldn't balance had though? If things as serious as that are happening, she probably ought to start eating meat.
We as humans are omnivores--your body was just telling you what you needed! A lot of people are so self-righteous in thinking that they're superior just because they don't eat meat. In the natural world, there is a food chain, and whether anyone likes it or not, we're a part of that. The people on this video that are judging you, insulting you, etc. are just misinformed, uneducated or otherwise rude, self-centered people. Ignore them and be healthy! Love your videos as always! :)
@soundlyawake Gee that comment by you is self judging, insulting, and just misinformed, uneducated or otherwise rude, self-centered person that you are!!!
@SpaceWalkTraveller I see what you did there ;) though, since you seemingly took offense, I'm assuming you've been rude to people about their eating habits before? I was speaking to the people that were being rude to Natasha--so if you weren't, there is no need to be rude to me. :) We have the love of nature and education documentaries in common, let's focus on that instead of your misinterpretation.
@soundlyawake So many assumptions my friend. No I didn't take offense, I laughed at your silly comment. Assuming I'm rude about peoples eating habbits??? I don't really care what people eat thought, I do care what I eat and I do care about innocent animals!!! If people want to eat meat I don't really care that's there problem not mine. You get what you put out in life. Be rude to people then people will be rude to you. If you want to put out a rude comment expect to get rude replies. Take care.
@soundlyawake If you`re organisme is brought up in a healty way, you will thrive without meat- BUT speaking for my self i was brought in a case very bad of disease necause eating meat...so I swhich after I`ve found out of raw food, and get me up of bed and starting to be healthyer every day, as I started matering the knowledge of raw food.:) I`ve get out tens of pounds of rezidues from my intestines, i`ve starde to absorbe nutrinets...to heal my artrytes and so my hands/bones etc.:)keep eags.:)
@soundlyawake In my case, eating meat and cooked food only almos, got me very disease.:) For me the argument that I`m in the top of the food chain and so I have to eat meat, is a invitation to continue being sick-dead.:) I still eat raw eggs though in my smoothies.:) Chech out nathasha backround...she was in bad health as a child and for that she could not aborbe the B12; Now she can absorbe it from wisely chosen meats, because she cleaned her body with raw-vegetarian foods;
Heloo! :) I am following you frm the half a year now, and you helped me with alot of a could info when I was very sick.:) Thank you for that! .:) I wanted to ask you...I guess you know about Lou Corona, no? I think he has a valuebel information to say, that make a lot of things work .:)-
@soundlyawake You know about Lou Corona? I think he has valuebel information, that make a lot of things work... for most complete real health .:) 'LOU CORONA & DAN MCDONALD, the liferegenerator'
Thank you for being so open and honest with us about your diet changes. there are alot of so called "rawfood gurus" out there who are not honest about what they are eating and thats not right. You did what your body told you it needed and that is never wrong. Best of luck and health to you.
milk kefir and raw egg yolks, with some raw butter is the best way of staying raw and getting adequete b12. I hope you continue to get better and better, you obviously know whats right for your body. Also ample probiotics (thats why i recommend Kefir) as B12 can be manafactured by the bacteria in your gut, especially if you've been on antibiotics at any stage. Wish you all the best.
@imbocca...it's interesting that you do not see the hypocrisy of claiming to eat a raw, radient and healthy diet, gaining hundreds of views, and then deciding to put meat into your body because of a B12 deficit that can be adjusted (in her case) with a shot. She has chosen to eat meat rather than get a meat-and-cruelty-free B12 shot. I linked to her channel because I am vegetarian and wanted to learn more about the raw food lifestyle. Sadly, the decision to eat meat negates everything.
Humans are omnivores.... not to mention that every human is a little different. this is part of our journey learning what's best for us as an individual. you do what you have to Natasha... I wish you luck and of course radiant health.
I'm sorry to say, but I feel I have lost respect for you & your channel. I WILL NEVER go back to eating animal flesh. They are plenty of other ways to get b12 etc. How can u handle putting slaughtered, dead animals back into your body? Totally wrong & discusting.
I'm saddened that you have returned to meat. A super B-vitamin supplement helped me tremendously without the need of shots, and I maintain a vegetarian lifestyle. Will you be changing the title of your channel considering you no longer represent the "raw radient health" lifestyle?
@collcheb I think regardless of her diet change (I would call it high raw), her channel still holds wonderful information as the title suggests. Her video's are a wealth of information as is her journey on this path. I don't think she needs to change a thing :)
@collcheb Maybe she goes out into the wilderness and hunts a wild boar and feasts on it's still beating heart...that'd still be a "RAW radient health" lifestyle, right?
@Aislan4414 HAHAHA YEAH IT HAPPENED TO ME AS WELL. THE FIRST DAY WAS THE WORST TO ME AS WELL I FELT LIKE I HAD A BAD FLU. I WAS EVEN DIZZY.BUT SOON AS IT PASSED I FELT SOOOO GREAT..!JUST HANG IN THERE YOU WILL MAKE IT AND IT WILL PASS..
I am a bit sad you are forced to do this Natasha in some ways, but B12 is a complex issue, and since my Dad nearly died from pernicious anaemia, is a buddhist too, and has to eat meat due to this scare I understand. I think its health first and Natasha first, your symptoms sound nasty, and since I get tingly fingers I may need to be much more rigorous with my diet, I am a raw/coooked vegan, healthier since higher raw in general (lost 3 stone) and cut alcohol to zero for 1 year now! GOOD LUCK X
@PastorErickDMarquez fish eggs come from a fish! therefore NO they are not vegetarian... I dont say "oooh I will just go dig up my fish and tuna" in my vegetable garden!!! some cultures call fish and fish sauce a vegetable- NOOOOO they arre not :~) they have a face and anything FROM a sentient being is animal in origin..sheesh...
I thought you were vegan?

I think it is very telling that the raw food / vegan community are attacking your videos, questioning your morals, insulting you and attempting to ruin your reputation because you've decided to change your lifestyle due to health problems. Congratulations to you for sticking up for your own health despite all this adversity! You're glowing! You look amazing and healthy!

Just wondering if you ever experienced hair loss during the time you were vegan?? and if you did, did it stop when you went back to eating meat??
I have been vegan for a year and my hair is falling out a ton! I dont want to go back to eating meat, but I will if it will prevent my hair from falling... any advice?
Thanks!

I don't know but to take injections seems silly. Isn't the point of vegan, raw vegan is to go natural! b12 shots don't grow on trees. Seems extreme to me.. Good for you Natasha, Im glad your doing well!
Jenbug123 3 months ago
@Jenbug123 "raw vegan is to go natural! b12 shots don't grow on trees" So I take it you kneel down in piss and shit and naturally suck that warm wet white pus and blood straight from the momma cow yourself? That calf throws itself up on your plate himself and disassembles like some sort of sacrificial autobot all hot and greasy and ready for you do devour? What does an animal rapists and rotting flesh eater know about natural and extreme? LOL
FathomlessJoy 2 months ago
@FathomlessJoy Hm... well for instance milk doesn't always come from sick cows. If you find a reliable farmer like Organic Pastures has healthy cows so clean they can sell it raw. Second we would not exist without meat! You would not be living if it wernt for meat wheather it was to avoid starvaton or not. Although we are related to monkeys we are not monkeys. Look up the Secret life of plants you might learn a thing or two. Plants also have feelings and know when they are going to die.
Jenbug123 2 months ago
@Jenbug123 Well it certainly sounds like you have drawn lots of conclusions. Unfortunately conclusions are the largest, most stubborn learning inhibitors. The absolute fact is we do not have to torture and rape animals today, and there is healthy, whole, wholesome food in abundance in the world for everyone, if we weren't feeding most of it to the 16 billion livestock we enslave and slaughter for a few privileged folks to get the rot on. Peace.
FathomlessJoy 2 months ago
@Jenbug123 "plants also have feelings and know when they are going to die." Plants do not have a central nervous system. Therefore, they don't have "feelings" in the traditional sense of the word.
paraplegicgiraffe 2 months ago

Hope you do well!

Always the same hollow statements, most omnivores who are B12 deficient are elderly people because they have digestive issues.
celt130 2 months ago
@celt130 Thanks for your response. I don't really know what to say about it. I don't really see how it is a hollow statement. It says a lot about how the modern lifestyle plays into health. Why is it that there are digestive issues in older people? Shouldn't the body work just fine until the day we die?
Would you say that everyone should be taking b12 injections or just vegans? Does being B12 deficient justify the slaughter of animals?
TardsOfParadise 2 months ago
You welcome.

Now adding animal products to her diet?
monika9v 4 months ago 2
...Therefore vegans and vegetarians actually have higher levels of B12 in their bodies than people who eat a meat-based diet.

Also many meateaters have b-12 deficiencies, if meat is the solution then y do some meateaters have b-12 issues?
allthatisbeautyntrue 4 months ago 2
@allthatisbeautyntrue This is not true. different cultural groups eat differently and not everyone's body works the same. also- saying that a group was "just fine" without meat is a gross generalization. I think there is a lot of myth on both sides of the argument and the truth tends to be twisted to what people want to believe. My mother has to eat meat to maintain her shaky health and i've known people (a doctor actually) that had to start eating mean when she was pregnant.
Lace1nSpace 4 months ago
@Lace1nSpace From my research all groups who eat very little to no meat at all are very healthy & are doing just fine. In the book Healthy at 100 by John Ribbins, researched 4 cultures of long living people all 4 ate very little to not meat at all. Also much research has shown that when people eat meat daily cancer & Heart disease increases. Read The China Study by Dr. Thomas Campell & see doc, "Forks over Knives", "Eating", "Healing Cancer"
Sorry for you mom.
allthatisbeautyntrue 4 months ago 2
@Lace1nSpace The myth that we need animal protein, has been pushed by the meat industry. Plants provide protein, iron, calcium, and vit B-12 can be found in nutritional yeast and spirulina.
allthatisbeautyntrue 4 months ago
@allthatisbeautyntrue I agree to some extent, but also disagree. yes, meat ever day is not natural, but natural humans ate what was available, and the most "primitive" of culture show us that. I've done my own research and personally, i feel like a lot of people do research to prove that their values are true. I really don't care what you think you know. another thing history has shown us is that the more fanatical a person is, the more likely it is that they are wrong about much of it.
Lace1nSpace 4 months ago
@Lace1nSpace Are you implying that primitive cultures ate more meat.If so, consider this, studies show that people where once hunter-gatherers 1) before refrigeration meat was hard to preserve 2) If the hunter was unsuccessful they ate plants. People 2day eat more meat than they ever ate in history w/technology & Government subsidizing the meat industry. If it was not for these subsidizes. Meat would cost $35 per lb. & people would stop eating it 3x a day or everyday.
allthatisbeautyntrue 4 months ago

Phuzz828 5 months ago 18
@Phuzz828 if you cleanse and regenerate your body, feel more energy and vibrant with raw vegan diet then why would you even include in your diet or go back to something that over-acidise your body like meat, eggs and dairy(raw or pasteurized) which is mucus forming as well...Why would you include these foods in your diet that are hard for your body to break and to diegest which leads to all kind of health issues including B12 deficiency..."eat to thrive" on something that disposed us to cleanse?

Isn't nutritional yeast loaded with B12? Does anyone know if a person can get enough B12 with nutritional yeast and a B12 Vitamin daily? According to the China Study by Dr. Campbell animal protein has been linked to cancer. The molecular makeup of animal protein (most similar to human flesh) is different than the molecular makeup of plant-based protein. One of the healthiest cultures is Mediterranean. Check out their food pyramid-red meat few times a month-fish a few times a week.

DreemUK 6 months ago 3
@DreemUK Well we're omnivores be nature, so you're right, we should be eating some meat. However, it's a VERY small amount of meat. People who choose to go vegetarian, vegan or raw, are simply people who are more extreme with their beliefs. We all have different nutritional needs, and I respect her for listening to her body. No meat is not good for everyone, just like how too much meat isn't good for you. I like people like Natasha because they remind us to take care of our body.

Hard to know what's what with so much conflicting info.
ooohlaa13 7 months ago
@ooohlaa13
The reason meat eaters are B12 deficient is because many of them eat wheat and grains, which limit the bodies ability to absorb. I can't believe more people have not figured this out, it is not meat that is the enemy. It is wheat and grains aka Gluten rich foods.

It may not be possible for YOU to live without animal products but that does not mean it is not possible for anybody to live without animal products. I don't know what your history is and what your problems are, but statements like the one you made are absoultely FALSE. Do not be so egotistical to think that your roblems are applicable to everybody else
CerebralPrince10 6 months ago 2
@CerebralPrince10 You can hate all you want eating 811 nearly destroyed my life. And i know many people that have gotten away from it. I'm definetely not the exception here. Nothing FALSE about it. superfoodlifestyle 6 months ago
@superfoodlifestyle
1. 811 is not fruitarianism.
CerebralPrince10 6 months ago 2
@CerebralPrince10 Vit A, (retinol), D3, K and B12 are all not included in a vegan diet. These are important nutrients. Since I added eggs and raw dairy to my diet, my health improved immensly and my blood markers turned completely normal. I wish a vegan diet were possible...I don't want to say what everyone else should eat, but i urge people to be cautious when they are on a vegan diet and listen to their bodies and get regular blood checks, nothing egotistical with that i think..
superfoodlifestyle 6 months ago
@superfoodlifestyle

God Bless.

Love you :)

i think u doing the wrong step in going to animal foods, because the only reason u hate is to get the b12 injection. so why don't u get methylcobalamin / the organic vitamin b12 directly absorbable in your mouth as drops? no pain and the best source of vitamin b12 ever......

Cnt'd ...I would especially like to know - from your experience - whether 100% raw is worth it in terms of energy levels and everyday life enjoyment or whether you feel equally good when eating small amounts of non-raw here and there... I don't want to waste years of being 100% raw to find out when I could be 95% raw and equally/ more healthy.
niceupyourareaaa 7 months ago
(cont''d) ...since it supports my other research in that fruitarianism is not healthy in the long run. It seems that a more varied raw diet (including more veg, fats and protein sources) is perfectly heatlhy and possible, just not easy given everyone's body needs a different balance of nutrients. Natalia, thanks for your great posts, let the extremists unsubscribe. And let us know if you choose to return to 100% raw at some point or whether you recommend eating a little meat products as well.
niceupyourareaaa 7 months ago

Natasha, you are being an advocate for your personal health, which is what we all should be for ourselves. Sadly, there are too many extremist out there on all sides - the SAD diet, the RAW diet, the As Seen on TV diets/pills, etc. What I respect most about you is your "RAW" honesty about your diet changes to your audience of viewers. waycoolzing 7 months ago

Now a year later, I've gained back ALL the weight I lost, -Cont-
Jenny1954 7 months ago
Hey Natasha, are you sure it is the animal products that are helping you feel better? I recently heard that meat eaters are EQUALLY deficient in B12 as vegans, even more. It would be interesting to hear your opinion on this. Don't you think you could get enough B12 from nutritional yeast, sea vegetables, kefir, greens and fermented foods? According to David Wolfe raw foodists get their energy from proteins, carbs (fruit), and fats. Depends on the person which suits as a primary source.

@SpaceWalkTraveller I see what you did there ;) though, since you seemingly took offense, I'm assuming you've been rude to people about their eating habits before? I was speaking to the people that were being rude to Natasha--so if you weren't, there is no need to be rude to me. :) We have the love of nature and education documentaries in common, let's focus on that instead of your misinterpretation.
soundlyawake 7 months ago
@soundlyawake So many assumptions my friend. No I didn't take offense, I laughed at your silly comment. Assuming I'm rude about peoples eating habbits??? I don't really care what people eat thought, I do care what I eat and I do care about innocent animals!!! If people want to eat meat I don't really care that's there problem not mine. You get what you put out in life. Be rude to people then people will be rude to you. If you want to put out a rude comment expect to get rude replies. Take care.

@soundlyawake If you`re organisme is brought up in a healty way, you will thrive without meat- BUT speaking for my self i was brought in a case very bad of disease necause eating meat...so I swhich after I`ve found out of raw food, and get me up of bed and starting to be healthyer every day, as I started matering the knowledge of raw food.:) I`ve get out tens of pounds of rezidues from my intestines, i`ve starde to absorbe nutrinets...to heal my artrytes and so my hands/bones etc.:)keep eags.:)
aladinclip 7 months ago
@soundlyawake In my case, eating meat and cooked food only almos, got me very disease.:) For me the argument that I`m in the top of the food chain and so I have to eat meat, is a invitation to continue being sick-dead.:) I still eat raw eggs though in my smoothies.:) Chech out nathasha backround...she was in bad health as a child and for that she could not aborbe the B12; Now she can absorbe it from wisely chosen meats, because she cleaned her body with raw-vegetarian foods;

milk kefir and raw egg yolks, with some raw butter is the best way of staying raw and getting adequete b12.
