Thank you for keeping me informed on the Occupy movement, Alyona. Today I've seen a report that Mayor Landrieu (brother of Senator Mary Landrieu) will evict the protesters from Duncan Park, an area across from the City Hall in New Orleans.

It's sad how many houses are empty because the rent is too high and how many homeless people there are because they can't afford a place to live.

It would help If we could find ways to lower the cost of living.

Some people are homeless because of drugs, and some aren't. Regardless when you have nowhere to go at the end of the day, you walk around until your feet hurt, then you sit, then you get cold. After a while you fall asleep, but only for a short time. then you wake up panic'd and frozen, then you start the whole process over. After 2 days of this you are really feeling the harsh reality of life. Your unshaven, hungry, and your armpits began to stink along with your clothes. Now Tiger go get a job

It has always been like this. Its hard to be homeless not so much because you don't have a home, but because you have to deal with the police/ government ragging on you all the time. Lets not forget those sheeple who rat the homeless out.

@baalisgod666 Yea before they risk going broke they will resort to simply shooting people at random by simply labeling them "terrorists" and "anti American" Which is why Congress is currently passing the National Defense Authorization Act as law which gives the president & military the authority to indefinitely imprison American citizens without a court hearing, both domestically and abroad. It also designated the mainland US as a battlefield allowing them to use UAVs as well.
