  • this chassis sucks chef's big black salty balls ;-)

  • hey im new with pc component, i dunno wat to pronouns this thing between chassis or casing ?

  • @BoBBaB0oN hey bro so what can i help you with cases and chasis is pretty much the same thing f you need hep with pc building let me know

  • @PCGAMER35353vr i just want to know how to pronouns this thing. coz english is not my first language

  • @BoBBaB0oN ah i see heh i pretty much knew u weren't English because you spelled pronounce wrong

  • @PCGAMER35353vr haha, yeah. so wat should i call that case? casing or chassis ?

  • @BoBBaB0oN just case or chassis

  • @BoBBaB0oN i have my eyes on the 80d chassis and cosmos 2 chassis

  • Please do a review on the Corsair 550D case?

  • I'm perfectly content with my case ,but I love watching your reviews because they are well done. As for this case, that top angled fan is just a terrible idea on an otherwise awesome case. Have the engineers at Fractal Design seen today's CPU heatsinks?

  • Please review the antec 302

  • tobad, it looks very good. I'm in search for such a case but is also good enough for internal watercooling! Does some one have an idea?

  • @N1mro8 If you know how to mod the case then it can become good for watercooling. The angled 180mm fan can easily be removed, and 3 120mm fan holes can be cut out in the top so you can mount a radiator + fans (I think it will cost you the top 5.25 bay). You can put a grill on the top to make it look nice. If you drill out the rivets from the 2 bottom hdd-cages, and cut out holes for 2x120mm fans in the bottom of the side panel, you have for a 2x120mm radiator.

  • @N1mro8 Try to search on google, I have seen forum threads about watercooling mods on this case.

  • I reckon the top fan is a good idea. if only it was refined a bit more :(

  • For $150 You can Get an Antec 1200.

Witch is a Much better Case, IMO.

    Nice Case to though.

  • Only reason to buy this case is for like a workstation or server with lots of HDDs, and even then the R3 is cheaper, smaller, and better at this job unless you need more than 8 HDDs, which almost nobody does.

  • The upcoming Corsair 550D is going to rape all the silent cases.

  • No option to mount a radiator (or fans) at the top... too bad

  • IMO "silence for video game" or "complete silence" is a bit overrated and overexaggerated. This over exaggeration causes case designers to sacrifice aesthethic for such a feature. TBH, I'd prefer some sound... just to have that much more psychological connection to my MegaArmored Battlestation, aside from the look and the feel, the sound should be there aso.

  • I truly appreciate the honesty, showing all the flaws. Nice job Dimitry.

  • P280 nuff said.

  • HOW IS THIS CASE SUPPOSE TO GET ME THE LADIES?!?

  • Very nice Review !

  • HEY ! it's nice to finally see the guy that does the voice overs for the videos !

Cool ! Check out his channel : Jesse B Andersen

he just did a video review of Mimo's USB monitor

  • Kind of a stupid case in my opinion and a little over priced

  • With the exception of the top mounted fan, this case is a major triumph for those of us who demand pure silence from our gaming chassis. It also possesses a naturally elegant exterior.

    NEAR PERFECT WINNER!

  • @wyzemann The new Corsair 550D and Lian LI PC-B10FN are a lot nicer in my opinion.

  • It's an amazing case.

  • I think the R3 is much nicer.

  • Hardware Canucks make the best cases reviews, but as most of other reviewers, they dont do thermal tests... please implement them :)

  • the best and beautiful i ever had or saw

  • It isn't really a bad case, its just not geared towards gamers. Its a server case, and nothing more.

  • Mod potential but Fractal Design really dropped the ball on this one. It's obvious they didn't test a system in it before they started mass producing.

  • This is a pretty old case its only revision was that of the 3.0USB and it has been release early 2011. If I believe because I bought this case mid last year. The problems that HWC outlined is the exact problems I am encountering now..

  • I dont know what Fractal is thinking, but I think they need to hire new design staff. A case this large, and no watercooling. Who would ever buy this case, the the Antec P280 and the New Corsair 550D both support 240mm rad and be silent too.

Sorry Fractal, your digging your own grave this time. I think you should just scrap this case before you release it.

  • @Sp33dJunki3 did you chech when the case was relase?

  • Wow this is a poorly designed case... And for $150.

  • Its never have been design for water cooling anyway. It is geared for people who wants silence....

  • Failed case...

  • I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE, the storm scout is a little small

  • Now do the Array NAS enclosure.

  • Since when was a thumbscrew not tool-less? They better that a cheap plastic button. How many times do you switch out an optical drive anyways? I do agree it's a major flub with the 8-pin though.

  • @thesmallterror thumbscrews are tool-less cause you don't need a screw driver to unscrew them...DUH

  • these reviews are awesome .. you should expand your reviews to other products

  • nice but antec is better ...

  • A bit late...? This isn't even available on newegg anymore.

  • @Roland0314 newegg item# N82E16811352017

  • A bit late...? This isn't even available on newegg anymore.

  • Never really stood out to me.

  • Awesome!

  • UNO! I win :D
