I recollect seeing Alasdair Fraser playing an open air festival in South Florida, must have been 1999, and a little black kid dressed in sloppy jeans and sneakers wandered up to the front of the stage and
treated us to the most breathtaking display of creative dancing I have ever seen, and I am sure it was the first time that kid had ever heard Scottish music.
I wish I had had a camcorder with me at the time ...
