    wtf?

My thinkpad gets more "abuse" and "torture" daily.

  • @RasAhmose those machines can apply a really high pressure, we cannot see the display, but it may be stronger than what you think

  • robot sex lol

  • shit if I wanted to test for durabilty, i'd see if it blends dammit.

  • It survived rape?

  • hope this isnt how people who make laptops test them for toughness...

  • @LOLAG3S

well... they do it for like weeks this way... it simulates like a laptop life so they know what can brake etc. :P

  • thinkpad rape?

  • Well it can still work after these attacked it:Fire,Water,2 Story drop.

  • I dropped my X201s just 40 cms from the floor and the screen got a crack! Please note that Thinkpad does not hold this sort of treatment, it is rather weak. There is no warranty and you pay $110 for the repair!

  • @miyukiTS no you didn't.

  • @miyukiTS no you didn't. And obviously you don't get warranty for costumer abuse.

  • OMG a robot really can fuck a laptop

  • i went to the apple store and tried this on an Macbook Pro

seller : YOU're GOING TO PAY THAT

ME : fuck you imma gonna buy an thinkpad BCH

  • i can break that in one hour

  • @dodgechargercrazy I could too. Laptops are all cheap chinese made crap.

  • Comment removed

  • hawt!

  • Lenovo, this aint torture, send me one, i'll show you what torture is.

  • im using one right now

  • :))

  • It's IBM thinkpad in the video, not Lenovo!

  • @pitot1988 lenovo has bought the name

  • @555russe I know. But for most people IBM has more value than the new Lenovo. Not sure how the quality goes when comparing two.

  • It's IBM thinkpad, not Lenovo!

  • awkward....

  • Faster... faster!..

  • Servo me HARRRRRDER!

  • This is not a Lenovo, but IBM T series

  • @oszinq Lenovo is the company that bought ibm's laptop division... they haven't changed much more than the badge on the outside

  • @shades23 Lenovo let it test your product somehow, that the film is a series of IBM T43

  • it looks like those stuff thats @ ikea that test a kitchen door, it opens and closes and opens..... etc... looks funny

to all ppl who think its porn.... go get urself a gf.... sick...... lol

  • so u think it wud survie a: carcrash airplanecrash climbin mounteverest and drop it down, swim with sharks with it NO! so why dont u build such a computer!

  • how is this a torture test? You should see how thinkpads are shipped in bulk. There are 200 on a pallet transported on bumpy trucks, forklifts, planes, etc. All stacked on top of eachother. Thats a real torture test.

  • Your persistence to not break is annoying me Mr Lenovo.

Tonight you must decide to break... Or die. *Saw Theme*

  • WHY DONT YOU FRICKING BLOW IT UP!!

  • it that children is how the Netbook was made

  • Robot's Porn

  • computer porn(2)

  • so you no u could have sex on it forgetting it was in the sheets and you wouldnt lose your data

  • try that with your mac

  • @mythicalness - With that alluminum unibody...that would probably hurt.

  • что это ?

  • IBM BDSM

  • It's not as if a fat person would sit on it, this is pointless.

  • @perfusus You'd be surprised

  • @perfusus

    Yeah you would be surprised.

There's a video of a guy who tossed his ThinkPad, stood on it, and started it up working perfectly.

    /watch?v=-CrpUU3cCPE

  • Just to keep the records straight. Yes China can build, when they adhere to rigorous standards engineered by IBM. Matter of fact any one could, if they were told how to do it, and they were able to follow instructions.

  • Hehehe

  • is the laptop fucking????? is it notebook porn???

  • @rbonilla18 Best damn notebook porn there is, Look at the notebook get drilled:) XP :D

  • It's placed on super-elastic-shock-absorbant-uber-hyper-super-technology pads and is very carefully pressed by some weird soft penis. WTF?

  • HAHAH

  • umm what was is supposed to do?

  • WTF??!! lenovo doest make thinkpad?!?! explain this shit

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry, IBM made thinkpad, but then the ThinkPad line was sold to Lenvo

  • interesting... we have a thinpad and its IBM

  • and Lenovo is making them cheaper than ever... good bye magnesium alloy case....

  • Comment removed

  • because its lenovo = china build quality..

when it was just IBM These things where close to stainless steel lol then when it was IBM/Lenovo they where good solid build now its just lenovo there going back to cheap ways lol bastards i say... IBM should come back and dump lenovo

  • And guess where IBM manufactured their laptops? Or Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, for that matter...

I would hardly call carbon fiber reinforced plastic and magnesium roll cages "cheap build". The T series's as solid as it gets, except for some keyboard flex they've had lately, but that's due to weight reduction, not cheap build quality, and that's been fixed on the newest ones. Can't speak for the other series though.

  • @jeromebc1

Which newest ones has it been fixed on?

  • The new T410 and T510 do have the magnesium roll cage. Dunno about the others though.

  • @jeromebc1 Very cool. I really hope there's still quality yet to come.

  • @jeromebc1 the SL series doesnt, but they still get called thinkpads :(

  • @rbrtostone

lol lenovo and ibm have been a combind brand for atleast 7 years now xD

thinkpad is ibm, ibm was bought from lenovo, think pad, idea pad and lenovo are all the 1 company now

  • Comment removed

  • Is that a torture or massage?

  • look alike a IKEA store test in lab

  • nice massage

  • it may not seem like its a lot of pressure because its a machine doing it but it is

  • There testing the screen flex. If the screen flexes too much, (like on a plane and someone has their crap on top of your laptop bag) Then youll have keyboard indentations on your screen. the mag-alloy rollcage in the thinkpads help reduce this greatly.

  • Uhm..That didn't look dangerous.

  • Comment removed

  • i came.

  • You call that torture? It looks like a massage.

  • lol

  • well it doesn't look like much but do that to your average laptop and things will get ugly

  • hahahaha

  • i have one of those its a lenovo ibm r 60

  • C-C-C-C-C-C-C-C-COOMMBOoOOOO BREAKKERRRRR

  • i lol'd

  • I came.

  • i came

  • I came.

  • i came

  • I came.

  • so thats how laptops are made lol.

  • lol

  • it's like laptop torture porn.

  • love that one

  • hahahah!

  • what the...

  • papercut is right, why the hell does it have the IBM label and not the lenovo on it?

  • Because it was designed by IBM

  • Lenovo is owned by IBM, the test was done at IBM HQ, so it contains their sticker ;)

  • Thinkpad was originally IBM but bought over by Lenovo, so there might still be IBM symbol in it but it is actually Lenovo...

  • @travis30384 IBM gave Lenovo rights to the name (as well as for servicing the laptops) for 5 years after buying the company. Its all downhill from here.

  • wow thats no stress test my toughbook has been trough more intensive test

  • thinkpad's aren't supposed to be tougher than toughbooks. they're supposed to be tougher than inspirons, satelites, pavillions, vaios, and macbooks (which are all closer to the thinkpad's price as well), but not toughbooks

  • it has the ibm lable on it

  • How much pressure was applied?

  • lenovo makes ibm

  • crap boring

  • Well when a laptop-crash test gets TOO excited, it would mean the laptop fails, no?

  • its called a stress test for a reason, durr

  • its unrealistic. i would not do that to my laptop durrrrrrrrrrr

  • its done in a lab for a reason.

and you would do something like that to your laptop if you accidentally drop it, or sit on it or something like that

  • i only drop children.

  • i do that anyway to pcs when i have a whack, i know its durable

  • lol this most be computer sex haha .

  • my dads got that laptop for work

  • if that's torture, then the sky's green

  • wtf

  • Whoa...I'm definitely buying one of those now knowing that it's THAT durable.

    Thank YOU Lenovo Yamato.

  • Thats torture? looks more like the laptop try jerk off the torture thingy, haha

  • If thats a torture test; then my wife goes through one almost everyday!

  • This test is to prove that the laptop will survive if you are doing the dirty with your lady on top of it.

  • You people are morons if you thing that 30,000 lbs of wight was applied. Heck 100lbs of weight would SNAP that laptop in half! This video only shows how much flex this laptop has.

  • There framed in magnesium, they are way tuffer than your average dell / hp laptop. I think they've been tested up to 500lbs without problems, Ive seen em ran over by cars.

  • lol 30,000 Lbs is like 13 tonnes.

  • Try...15 tons?

  • tonnes are metric, tons are US

  • well i can now go 2 sleep knowing that i can press up annd down on my laptop and not have it break :-)

  • wtf was that? thats like a penis trying to get through a stomach 0_o

  • Lol!!!

  • lol

  • damn...

  • Humping thinkpads FTW

  • magnesium is good for the body. :)

  • ooh yeah

  • aaa ohmmm ya give it to me!

  • it looks like a sex toy

  • LOL^^

  • Ok, the point? I no see!

  • The point is that the magnesium alloy roll-cage built around the monitor wouldn't crack under 30,000 lbs of pressure.

  • you know 30,000 Lbs is like 13 tonnes.

  • SOMEONE GIVE ME A HAMMER!

  • That was 30,000 pounds of pressure, but sure lets try a hammer

  • YEA! machine to machine sex for the first time!

  • MY SPINE!!! OOH!!!

  • So now you can have it under your madrass while having sex? Wow technology is nice. "The computer is personal again".

  • LMFAO

  • so... these are the tests they're doing to thinkpads now... maybe they think that with this test they prove thinkpads from lenovo are better than ibm's...

  • I have a Thinkpad and I like it

but this experiment proves no shit.

  • I don't think it's meant to prove anything to the average consumer -- and much less to you, the ignorant and reprehensible consumer.

  • hi BigWords,

I hope by using "ignorant" and "reprehensible" to me will make you look more educated.

  • If u think that's so, it might as well be.

As far as I know, those words aren't high vocab at all, and I'm not that educated a person.

But if u're wondering, ur sentence sensibility doesn't click together at all; using "I hope..." kills the whole logic of that last sentence and makes me wonder whether or not ur just fishing phrases out of thin air.

That, in itself, is "reprehensible" -- disgraceful -- and "ignorant" of proper, clear, and straightforward writing.

  • blah...blah...blah...

I think you are missing the point here

Are we talking about my comment on the laptop or about my poor English?

You are just one of those buns who love looking at themselves in the mirror and completely know nothing about the world.

I am just an idiotic one. But if you are that much educated, you should have heard this:

"Never argue with an idiot; they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience"

  • The reason we're talking about ur amazing writing skills is because you complimented me first on mine. You started the discussion about writing; you can't now just tell me that I'm arguing the wrong point -- it's something u brought up, not me.

And you're right. Idiots shouldn't be argued with but instead, ignored. Of course, arguing with them give most people wonderful thrills (even if they can't make him see sense - after all, who can?) and that's likely the reason it's done so much, so often

  • I thought you understood what I told you last time! turn out you completely have no clue.

enjoy with that, I am done.

  • You haven't told me anything.

  • Y EVERYONE WRITE SO LONG
