Goblet of Fire was my favorite book and film of the series. So damn good. That's just my opinion of course. :p everything Harry Potter is amazing.

The first two films were so innocent, light hearted, and fun, and then the third one came along, and that's when we were introduced to the idea that the Wizarding World isn't as pretty as it seems, and then this movie came along, and when this track played, instantly you knew you were being escorted down a path and there was no turning back

Actually the 3rd one was also as dark as the newer films, but also light hearted as the last films considering that in the scene where Harry had just found out Sirius was his godfather and that he thought he had betrayed his parents he yelled out he wanted to kill him for it. It's actually a pretty smooth transition

This is one of my favourites, if not my favourite. It gives you that feeling, that Harry Potter is not about young wizard anymore, who could always count on help. Though he's only 14, he's mentally not a child anymore, but a true man, who will soon face Voldemort.

i didnt fully realize what that meant when i started that book (i was, what, 9?) but it's so true! the story really grows and becomes (even more) complex (just look at the size of it!) it was all fairly happy and lighthearted, even until this one, but this one really transforms the story of the first 3 into the story of the last 3. this song really captures that

My favorite Harry Potter soundtrack is the Deathly Hallows part 2 one but this IS my second favorite!! I love how the music gets dark from this movie on. And the opening in the movie is amazing with nagini slithering through the graveyard :)

Goblet succeeded in creating a mystery surrounding the Tournament and blended it well with the personal relationships. Voldemort's return was done perfectly.

Half-Blood Prince however made it's own name trivial, we learned almost nothing new about Voldemort's character. The set-up of the horcruxes, what and where they could be found was screwed up entirely making Deathly Hallows feel weaker than it should have been.

Both the movie and the book of Goblet are the best imo.

I hate Nicholas Hooper because in neither of the two movies he composed the music, he played the theme that John Williams composed, I prefer Patrick Doyle, Alexandre Desplat and John Williams

@jav1510 Nicholas Hooper was much better than Doyle. I'm sorry but Doyle's felt flowery and cheesy.  I commend him on Ireland and Quidditch World Cup themes and Harry in Winter. But for Voldemort's resurrection, Doyle left us with an annoying blaring of brass instruments. In Order of the Phonix, Nicholas Hooper composed the stirring "Possession theme", the Umbridge theme and in Half Blood Prince he blew us away with In Noctem.

In the Potter movies, Harry is a child from to the fourth movie, then along is all battle, however I like the movies. However, the books are much better, showing that Harry is a child no matter what happens. Did you know? @MyDanDoo i understand that they are different mediums, and that it is necessary to change parts of the book for the movie, but for the fans who have read the books (like me), the story is amazing and epic, and the movie should have a perfect interpretation of it. for example, i enjoyed the 1st, 2nd, and 7th because the movies were close to the book and the cut/added scenes flowed with the story.

But...they added in a whole lot more action which was very cool to watch. And I agree with the different mediums. The one thing I have to say about the # 5&6, is that they cut out Dobby!
