  • I fucking Love this song! JLT and I were born on the same day (August 2nd)! So what if Dio's version is more powerful or anything? JLT is a great singer and he did a great job, no need to compare Rainbow singers, just enjoy the magic ^^

  • nice that him doesnt try to emulate Dio

  • IS ROGER GLOVER OR PHILL COLLINS? hehe

  • wow!!! Ritchie solo is so fucking good!!

  • Turner is not Dio, however he was and still is a great singer. He should receive more credit for what he is than what he isn't. I think he does a good job on the "Bonnet tunes" also. Over the Rainbow is awesome-might as well call it Rainbow-Ritchie's kid is a satisfactory replacement.

  • 1:35 WTF, OMG, rock 'n roll?

  • without Dio it is not so good. I really miss Rainbow.

I'll go to an Over the Rainbow concert( with Blackmore's son and JLT.)

I hope it 'll be good. Does anyone saw yet this band?

  • @-Schiaffer: Replace Dio for JLTurner ,to change into a more ,,Pop,, RockBand ?????? I do think you forget about Graham Bonnet here, He was the man replacing RJ Dio!! And did a Great Job , Since You''ve Been Gone, All Night Long ...to stay ,,PopRock !!! Graham was also the man who had to do a lot of ,,Dio Songs,, live ,listen to Stargazer or Long live R&R as Graham Bonnet''s singing. Forget RJ Dio on a Power Ballad ????? .......again I do not agree !!! Do some research !!

  • prefer DIO ,rainbow was band with -DIO this here is bull shittttt

  • no way come on!! jlt has the looks

  • @SelinaRocker I'm with you on this SelinaRocker JLT has it all the looks, voice - he's HOT!!!

  • I agree with IowaRocker1, MTV used to play real music but now it sucks big time. Too much (c)rap, gangsta etc etc. Not really a music channel anymore for me. And yes each singer had his own style. Rainbow was a superb band, Rock on forever! Peace all!

  • Joe Lynn Turner had to come into Rainbow and sing material originally done by four very different singers - Ian Gillan, David Coverdale, Ronnie James Dio, and Graham Bonnet. (Gillan and Dio have some especially loyal and vocal fans, too.) That couldn't have been easy. I think he did pretty good.

  • Nice to see Ritchie smiling at 1:51

  • I prefer JLT any day

  • Long Live Ronnie James Dio!!!

  • Joe Lynn Turner is no Ronnie James Dio on this song. He is a good singer in his own right: and even Bobby Rondinelli really doesn't have the impact of Cozy Powell: although he is a good drummer- Cozy was a Superstar drummer and more powerful.

  • Unfair to compare Dio to Turner. Two completely different singers. Both rock n' roll greats. Blackmore felt like changing the band to a "pop" rock band, for the most part, and he succeeded with Turner. Forget Dio on a power ballad, but he's got the goth/medieval metal to the tee.

  • i prefer dio, however blackmore did an awesome job trying to replace dio..rainbow with lynn turner is still rainbow, 4 me...

  • grande joe!!!

  • lock and load

  • Remember seeing this on MTV when MTV used to have music in the 80's. Great stuff. Rainbow, no matter the singer, one of the great bands.

  • DIO IS NOT HERE

  • Richie you were the man and you still are but where are you? Put together RAINBOW together again please, Joe is better now than before.

  • Ritchie's pretty lively in this one, is this from the Final Cut/Live Between the Eyes DVD?

  • Different folks, different strokes ;o)

  • I do not agree, It's a poor effort of joe singing this great song. Dio kicks his ass anytime, anyplace

  • Joe does a pretty good job here....

    However I still prefer Dio

  • Long Live Rock & Roll

  • i freakin love these guys!!!1 ROCK ON!!!
