i just received this gun today. for some reason, i can't pull the trigger... with/without the magazine/co2 canister

and yes i turned the safety off.

is there something that needs to be done, or is it possible it could have broken while being shipped? please reply

you say its not poss to make it full auto - challenge accepted, its only a matter of a searblock the trigger is identical to many semiauto PBguns - which make it way easy - stick a piece of plastik/metal in to push forward the sear on the roll pin thus fixing sear in a contact mode = trigger pulled and direct move of sear as long as depressed let trigger go and sear reconnects thus gun stops firing - only drawback to this mod is loss of SA mode

@MrThorsfar The blowback on this gun is not part of the action, it just moved the bolt for looks and feel. The trigger actually moves the barrel forward (towards the front of the gun) allowing a BB to load into the chamber and then when the trigger gets past the release point, the barrel acts like the hammer moving back towards the gun and hitting the CO2 valve. Kind of like many other umarex pistols (Colt Defender for one) Good luck!

@simon12194 I don;t have a hole lot of them, this one is fun , but my RAP4-RAP5 MP5 in 4.5mm BB is a bit more fun because it has full auto and ejecting shells.

@PierrePaulEhM 4.5mm BB guns shoot metal BB's which are more accurate and also penetrate objects better, they are better for target practice. Also in Canada 4.5mm BB guns are classified as non-controlled firearms which means we actually have less restrictions on them then a 6mm Airsoft gun which can be considered a "replica" and replicas are prohibited in Canada.

I just bought this local and was wondering what kind of scope you would recommend. I live in the UK, so I got the Picatinny rail with the gun. I've been looking at a few holographic and red dot sights but some cost quite a lot. Is it worth paying the extra money for a good looking and good quality scope?

Right now I'm torn between the Umarex Steel Storm and the MP5K. I'm leaning towards the MP5K because it has a stock but the 6 round burst mode on the steel storm is appealing. I really want a stock on the gun which is why i'm leaning towards the MP5K. What's your opinion on the two guns?

@jayztable Yes but then you can't shoot it because the stock plate also screws n the CO2. The UK version comes with another but plate so you can use it without the stock.

I bought this gun about six months ago and liked everything about it. So why has it been packed up in the box for almost three months? Because on the third CO2 cylinder it started leaking the gas. No matter how fast or how slow I screwed it or how many times I loosened and tightened it, I could still hear all the gas escaping; same problem with a number of my CO2 guns. I'm always pleasantly surprised when I get one that doesn't leak. i.e. Makarov, Colt Defender, S&W M&P45, CP99, etc. What to do?

@slickslack7000 Do you use Pellgun oil on the tip of each CO2? Sometimes a gun will had a valve problem but it sounds lie you are having some extra bad luck with your guns.

@switchingtomac flip your rail around and you get to use the bolt lock....the extended part of rail goes back, if you lock the bolt back it shoots without blow back witch saves co2 and might give better fps......

What a dummy...An Airgun/bb can be lethal (maybe not this one but) there are airguns that can fire projectiles over 1600+ fps. A lot of the very powerful airguns can hunt big game. They range in calibers from .177 to freaking 20mm and those are lead and steel. Not freaking plastic... An Airsoft is basically a toy hence the orange tips.
