This is awesome---you not only get a nice big, reclining seat but you also get a lie flat bed next to the seat. I love this idea! Very, very nice.

this is odd.. all first class cabin is at the nose of the 747.. Lufthansa is just plain wired for having First class on the upper deck.. upper deck is for business

Not a fan of this bed. It's too high up, like a platform, and no privacy. At least in a lie flat seat your head is below armrest level. Bring the bed closer to the floor and a privacy wall of some sort. I don't like it.

i must say i was absolutely astounded by the first class offered here by lufthansa, the convenience of having both a bed and seat is wonderful. thoroughly enjoyed my flight, always a winner from now on. well done to the chap who designed it i say!

Excellent video, I have been in LH's old first class and I did not like it, but the First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is nice. I am glad they finally updated the first class!

Aber mir fehlt bei der LH A380 First irgendwie etwas.

Und Emirates mit ihren Suites das ist absolute Geschmackssache meiner Meinung sieht es aus wie von Oma, und eine Dusche braucht auch keiner in einem Flugzeug das macht man normalerweise Vorher.

Die LH Kabine ist eine der Besten die es zurzeit beim A380 gibt.

Aber man hätte halt mehr machen können z.B. mit dem Licht eine andere "Atmosphäre" Schaffen siehe Virgin America *.*

I really don't like it. What's wrong with a seat which can also be a bed? This looks like a messy simplistic solution, having a separate bed at the side. Can't even turn and easily peer out the window. Really boring and unimaginative.

It's a huge improvement over Lufty's former upper deck B744 "nothing-but-business" class seats disguised as "F/C" seats. Finally LH has caught up to the latest trend; now it's a respectable B744 upper deck true F/C configuration.  All that's missing are the important privacy dividers/modules, as at Virgin, Cathay Pacific, etc . . . . .So that the pax across the aisle wouldn't be able to see when you pick your nose.

it seems better than the a380 first class. the a380 first class is just a seat with an ottoman that can convert to a bed with ife. but the 747 first class is a completely different concept where the seat and the bed are next to each other.

The problem is you don´t know if the 747 you are going to fly has alredy the new first class or the old one, they should let you know
