  • What's this spiel... I'd just get a "bounce house"...

  • lol

  • I'd like to see someone do this on a hard floor. How cum there are no obese flying yogis?

  • @audiotrax2000 Probably because most would actually give a shit about their health and not get to that point, lol.

  • This is Yogic flying.

  • Boing!!

  • inner peaceeeeee.. by po

  • loool! every yogic jumping! haha

  • The first stage of flying is hoping .IIts not supposed to look like something serious ,

maharishi didnt want it to be taken seriously . He said serious implies stress

  • yogic jumping

  • What a laugh.

  • If you want to learn how to fly ask chris angel if want to learn how to hop ask your little sister.

  • give me a space hopper any time.. took me to a place i called.... tear arsing around the back garden like a big kid...who loves space hoppers??????=o)

  • i'd call it yogic hoping.cuz thats what they are doing lol

  • haahah

  • I got the joy and goodness of laughing at this. it's hilarious

  • I didn't know bouncing on pillows was yoga haha :p

  • Dharana, dhyana and Samadhi is the key. These 3 in 1 is the foundation of all possibilities, including flying.

  • if you are looking to someone actualy fly, you'd be better of searching for a chris Angel or david blaine vid. TM flying is a state of bliss, a state of mind where there is ZERO thought but still aware of your own being.

  • I love yogic flying because it gives me so much bliss, so much deep spiritual experiences and success in my professional life.

  • i think batman with all that heavy equipment is pretty jealous :)

flying, burning yogis and etc.... this is stupid, they work hard, dedicate their lives just to do this stupid hopping, for others to demonstrate how developed and special they r, holier than thou...nirvana on a move? r u kiddin me?.. this is rather bullshit on a move lol well i have never experienced this hopping and never will so i cannot argue weather it is pleasant, joyful or not but it looks like funny exersice not nirvana

  • Your probably not going to approve that last comment huh? lol

  • learn to fly. they paid the money, nobody flied. they just hopped around. call it yogic hopping and be honest about it. i once went about 1 foot off the ground in the woods while standing, my friends flipped right out, mind you i just felt weird and wasn't trying to do it. weird years those were. yeah, you don't learn it, it's a spontaneous thing.

  • SIMPLY closing your eyes produces alpha frequencies in parts of the brain. You can smile and be happy about anything. It's an emotion that can be brought into conscious control.

  • @tekproxy maybe you'll get some alpha activity but not all over the brain with high coherence between all parts of the brain. Yogic Flying gives total brain coherence like nothing else.

  • Every point mass attracts every single other point mass by a force pointing along the line intersecting both points. The force is directly proportional to the product of the two masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the point masses

  • they should change the title of this video to ''i cant fly but i want to get more views by typing in that i can fly by doing yoga :D !!!!'' haha

    -GET TO THE GOOD PART!!

  • jump, not flying....

  • @sancakagundala I've seen Yogic Flying - it is possible for sure. Hoping is just the first stage.

  • I don't get it. I didn't see any "flying" in there, just people hopping around. What's that supposed to mean?

  • @coccinelsucrer Hoping is the first stage of Yogic Flying. As one progress's they begin to be able to levitate and then eventually fly anywhere. Most people are at the first stage but I have seen some people at the second stage.

  • @undertheC2B [1]

The TM people have provided NO evidence that the "levitation" practiced here has had any measurable physical validity. There are no tests to show that there is any demonstrable uplift beyond the force that is exerted by the legs and the jerking of the body. If true, then it would be possible to verify by measuring the counter force beneath the practitioner and the ground to see if it matches the height of the leap. The answer is BECAUSE IT DOESN'T REALLY HAPPEN. (cont.)

  • More Americanization of spirituality.

It isn't flying, so why call it that? If the ancients did levitate, it would have been the result of decades of strict discipline and practice, not a course of a few months.

To describe this technique as a siddhi is misleading and incorrect.

  • Nice video - personally I feel it is difficult to show Yogic Flying because you can't see what's happening inside the persons mind when they are practicing...

The inner experience is amazing for me - I have the best spiritual glimpses of enlightenment when I do Yogic Flying.

  • Aw come on now. I wanted to see some Peter Pan type shit. I feel so disillusioned

    now. ( sigh )

  • first and foremost before even meditating a person must BELIEVE and KNOW that they can fly and then meditate not on flying but feeling your body, mind, spirit then focus on lifting your body off the ground. Breathing, Focus, Feeling are the main thinks to work on. then add a second called visualization which takes u off the ground. then when your ready pratice with your eyes open. Change your mind first then pratice.

  • This is frog leaping... true yogic flying is done without cushion... and can fly from one place to another... from a few blocks to some miles apart. Such Siddhas do exist in India.

  • @Adideva01

    Evidence. Got any?

  • @Vire70 Yep - I've seen it with my own eyes.

  • If someone learn Yoga because he want to fly, he will never be able to fly. That "want" create a desire deep inside him which conflict with the emptiness required for basic meditation, so he might never get pass the lowest level.

  • @aclock2 Through Transcendental Meditation one naturally transcends thought and this is what gives the mind the power to fulfill desires. Yogic Flying works by projecting the thought to fly from the deepest level of mind.

  • @meditationchannel Isn't desire a thought?

  • extreme meditation

  • Dopo tanta meditazione ancora non sanno che saltare non significa volare.

  • The extreme skepticism you express is what prevents you from finding what you are skeptical of. If you want to find transcendence of this material universe, you will.

  • giggling as I watch! thanks!

  • it is just jump in lotus pose....i have all exersise or yoga posture for levitation...it s gathering the energy for levitation.....

  • I find it Ironic that this practice is called 'Transcendental Meditation'

because this act of reaching a higher state seems more like grounding one's self to be more in tune with your self.

    I'd Call it Immanence.

  • I would like to feel this. The mind is a huge mystery. Anyone who discredits this video or other of this sort have not experienced the secretos of the mind.

  • there are hundreds of records of yogic flying. In the west, they call them saints, in the East, yogis, among aboriginals, and this is my favorite, the Clever Men. Google St Joseph of Cupertino, or see Yogananda's autobiography .... also, the Book of Yogic Flying by Craig Pearson.

  • i still dont see flying

  • @eragon3196 try and sit in the lotus position and "fly" or hop as they do...

  • @eragon3196 Nor do I, but I do see happy, health people very much enjoying themselves.

Personally, I practice Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying for one reason - it makes me feel great. To me, that's what life's all about.

  • @eragon3196

I think the point is not to actually fly, but to feel like flying. It´s definetely possible to feel like you are flying with the right technique of concentration, even if you´re not flying in material terms.

  • @slgpmr

    -

-No they claim they are flying, among other things like invincible shields of energy that can stop rocket attacks

  • @eragon3196 what do you call this then 2:10?

  • Ahhh new-age psuedo-science

  • @BillTheWaterDrinker ok then mr. scientist/ mr.smart thinker/ mr analytical/mr logical thinker/ pls present your argument against this. pls enligthen us with your skeptic view. pls sir!!

  • @qcon81 Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. It's up to those making the claims to provide the evidence to support it. TM and YF are at best, inconclusive in any respects. Do you really believe in levitation? If so, why?

  • @EternallyRecurring they never could

  • @EternallyRecurring ... try sitting in the lotus or legs crossed position on the floor and "jumping" or "flying" like these guys are doing. Impossible.

True evidence can only be learned by oneself, so please begin TM and you will have your own evidence.

  • I have been doing the TM Sidhi program (which produces Yogic Flying) since the 1970's. It allows us to experience the source of thought - the field of conscousness common to everyone. The Kundalini up the spine is exhilarating and makes the body hop. It looks ridiculous but has a "field" effect. Best analogy is like the waves in a pond that spread when a rock is thrown. The larger the group of TMrs the further the waves of coherence spread (lower crime, less accidents, etc.). Its amazing.

  • Yogic Flying is absolute freedom. Expansion of heart, mind, and overall perception. Experiences of Higher Consciousness in meditation is not a challenging procedure its liberation from bounds and is the simplest and most joyful thing I have ever done in my life.

  • Yes, Yogic Flying really does feel like you are full of bliss! But the best part is that this bliss follows you into your every day activities. You are happier and can accomplish more. Wonderful!

  • look the stuff up B4 making conclusions. from my studing meditation makes you fill lighter, so when your hopping it just simply fills much easier it's fun try it, then try meditating 5min getting up and leaping.

  • Yoga, meditation, ect. when you do that it makes you fill lighter almost like flying but no wings. Try meditating for about 5min. get up, then try running and leaping or jumping to reach something you'll see what I mean. Yogic flying is putting Yoga and medition all in one. try jumping like that b4 meditating, won't get far then try after.

  • Everyone! you poeple got the right idea but meditation simply makes you lighter in weight 'NOT FLY" thats why they are jumping like kangaroos and enjoying themselfs. It's because it's easier to them try meditating for 'bout 5 min get up, run and leap or do push ups, anything that involves risng you'll see. (also look up chakras if your serious about it.)

  • yes, i am idiot. i thought it was "flying" not "jumping". pls upload the video of level xx then with some real flying yogi/yogini, if jumping is just for the basic level.

  • flying? huh... you better use "yogic jumping"

  • Is this stuff real? I mean, can you really experience all of that happiness through this practice? It does look really fun.

  • yeah man just look it up

  • Yeah. The mind is a powerful thing. whats really neet is feeling all that weighty negative "Feelings" and "energies" just leave your body, and finding yourself in like an odd, almost womb-like, if i may be poetic. notice how their body is synchronized. notice their "Float time" or the time they stay in air. if you did that without using the TM, youd just flop around a bunch xD still fun, but not effective.

  • Rod Falk is a yogic flyer rock star.

  • The lack of stress and the opportunity to practice regularly provided by the generosity of the community there and Mr and Mrs Settle made it possible for me to achieve it. Ever since that wonderful transformational year, accessing that bliss has been almost instant despite straying from the pure lifestyle on the odd occasions upon my return to the UK. Bless you all. Nice to see some familiar faces from that glorious year once again. A Heartfelt thank you to ALL the staff at MUM. I Love you all.

  • Beautiful. I wish to bear witness as a most fortunate practitioner. I spent a year in the company of these awesome people in there flying hall (including the temporary shed used whilst the mens hall roof was being repaired, lol.)

I would like to add that there are no limits to the possibilities of flying and can testify that in a moment of utter surrender I floated of the foam. Effortlessly. It was not expected nor particularly aimed for nor a shock or unnatural in any way whatsoever...

  • IM up to level 4. I've had to wear a crash helmet, I keep banging my head on the ceiling. Nearly decapitated myself on the ceiling fan. I'm thinking of using this power for the good of mankind. and starting my own window cleaning round. as i dont need ladders, only one problem i,ve got virtigo. How do I get down? Ive tried playing James Brown...HHHelp.

  • In response to idiots, this is only level 1 demonstrated. Hopping, from a lotus position. You go try this in your living room. Level 2 hovering, and level 3 flying have never been publicly demonstrated. Go back to your closed off lives.

  • maybe flying was never seen...because it´s imposible !!! what better way of shuting up "closed off" lives than showing your truth? Up to then, doubt remains...

  • If they've never been publicly demonstrated, why should we believe that anyone is able to do such things?

  • @Justjokingjackrabbit Did either you or eragon even watch the video? It's not 'flying' in the sense that people usually think of the word and the whole purpose isn't even to try to fly. All you've done is make yourself sound ignorant along with the 85 people that actually gave a thumbs up to your foolish comments without watching the entire video themselves..

  • It is important to FIRST do and then Blab some comments. Meditation is the BEST way to get inner wisdom to lead your life by emerging. We do not listen to many people's advise, (incl mine) but we will listen to our own ideas and act. Meditatation will help you and everyone around you. Just do it!

  • I think you could call it flying if it wasnt for that bloody Sir Issac Newton and his granny smiths. People cant fly and I think Darwen himself would back me up on that. Im not sure if any of you sceptics may have noticed, but creatures that fly have wings and tend to live in trees, and if you really believe you can fly why do it on a roof or up on a giant redwood. Then maybe I will believe you. untill that day I remainy unconvinced.

  • this looks a bit funny, but at the same time, really fun!

  • The experience is described as similar to one flying through space, but it's an internal experience. The body spontaneously rises up during practice, but one feels light and bubbly inside. As the professor pointed out, there is greater brain wave coherence when the body rises in the air, even more than that which has been verified during TM. It's all about mind/body integration.

  • the yogi guys are no more flying than yogi bear...its called hopping goof balls.

  • This is not levitation...is really hopping .

I am dissapointed! what a crap!

  • The kingdom of heaven is in your heart chakra, your heart chakra creates a gravitational field, that why when people die theres a load of lost weight that is unnacounted for.

  • I hear Obammy is doing yogic flying instead of sending more troops to Afghanistan. And everyone seems fine with it!

  • The difference is, golden choir boy, you can see the difference in these people's brains (EKG) and there weights decrease. They also don't start hopping until GOD's Bliss flows in. The goal of this pracice is GOD-manifestation. Yogi's may begin to truly levitate or fly.

  • Please explain how one can manifest this God bliss.

  • Can old people do Yogic Flying?

  • A PBS TV show covered Yogic Flying, and had gymnasts reproduce it. Yes, one can physically enact the hopping, if you're very athletic, but the gymnasts strained, looked challenged, soon became exhausted and had to quit. But the Yogic Flyers do it with ease and for an hour or more, and not only do they not get exhausted, they are energized and invigorated by it. The energy isn't coming from the physical body, but from deep within consciousness. it's really not that difficult a concept to grasp.

  • Yogic Flying is awesome if you ask me. I've been doing it for 7 years now and it only gets better.

My inner experience of bliss and unboundedness continues to expand with every day of practice...

I also really like Yoga Asanas and Meditation they are like preparing the ground for my practice of Yogic Flying.

  • lol this bullshit is so stupid.. you are fooled by satan.. he make you all look like idiots.. and idiots you are if you are following his teachings aka hinduism... get real and stop this nonsense.. get a bible and read the word of god.. and stop this satanic thinking of you can be god and bullshit..

  • If you read the bible it says that the "kingdom of heaven is within you."

Yogic Flying is a simple technique that develops the consciousness of the practicioner so that they start to realize that "heaven is inside" NOT outside.

Knowing the SELF is such a beautiful thing and Yoga, Transcendental Meditation and other Advanced techniques are a wonderful way to know thyself and grow towards enlightenment.

    Have a great day!

  • You said get a Bible so here you go,

"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of GOD, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned" - I Corinthians 2:14.

"I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children" - Matthew 11:25. Just because something is different doesn't mean it's completely wrong.

  • I'm all for meditation, I believe the mind the the most powerful source we have. But to say that this is the "next level" is just nonsense

  • Please, show us ONE guy/ette levitate. No flight. Just plain, old levitation. Leave the mind effects and other "important" stuff. You say "Yogic flying" - let's see some flight, mmkey?

Oh, you have no videos of ppl flying? There aren't any? Then it's hopping and can be achieved through fitness, like NBA or voleyball players that jump 1,2-1,3m

  • You can put on a suit and look like a professor, yet it doesn't make you one. The "important stuff" matters.

There's been side-to-side demonstrations with olympic level gymnasts involved - couldn't reproduce it.

  • Very accomplished gymnasts have tried to mimic these "movements" and have failed miserably. While there is no doubt a physical element to their current practise, these people are utilising consciousness to some degree to "move". With practise, in time, less physicality and more "lightness allows the body to elevate. Patanjali's Yoga Sutras descibe this development with regular practise. What you see here is very real...VERY REAL.

  • jrcsamad, you are delusional. First of all, I would like to see the source for your claim that accomplished gymnasts "failed miserably" trying to do this. I was able to do this with only a few minutes of practice...although it would obviously take quite a bit more practice to build height. Yoga and meditation are great activities, but nonsense like this seriously undermines their credibility. This is so stupid it is laughable.

  • do you have any evidence of a gymnast no being able to do the same thing?

  • i don't get this...so what happens after death? is there a yoga after life?

  • Yoga flying or Yoga bouncing?

  • Well done, catching and convincing - though I miss a certain invincible glow. Is it because you left out the origin and source of this heavenly phenomena Yogic Flying -- MAHARISHI MAHESH YOGI ?

  • yogic flying is pure bliss better than all other experiences I have had so far

    go for it

  • pretty cool

    yoga and meditation combined...

  • Yes, it is blissful and useful. It gives you more alertness, more energy, makes you more competent for higher achievements...

  • It's realy wonderful

  • I really feel the bliss from watchig this video - lets have many more happy yogic flyers!

  • Really settling and beautiful video

  • looks like yogic bouncing on your ass.

  • Best explanation I've seen. Clearly there is much more going on than just hopping. Let the naysayers rant and scream from a distance, I want that bliss.

  • Very good video. Clearly Yogic flying is a process of integrating pure consciousness into the active state. Thanks.

  • A wonderful video!

  • Interesting

  • This is really cool. Yogic flying is really one of the advance practises of Yoga. It is the wholeness of Yoga, rather than just a limb.

  • Wow! I have seen a whole lot of videos on Youtube, but haven't seen a woman as beautiful as Dr. Nancy Lonsdorf. If she says Yogic Flying is great, then how could anyone doubt that it must be so? An angel.

  • NIce! Great explanation, especially for the people who completely discredit yogic flying on the basis that people aren't actually levitating.

It's whats going on inside that counts!

  • Awesome - really well made video.

I definitely agree Yogic Flying is a combination Meditation and Yoga.

    Thanks.
