@pepicola6 Actually, you're wrong. Gary is pretty much guaranteed the Libertarian nomination considering the competition is very weak, but Ron Paul probably won't win the Republican one. So Vote Gary!
The reporter was only allowed to ask questions to marginalize him, and take up time. Funny, she was talking about non-sense issues, being non-sense, and taking up time, while she herself, was talking non-sense and taking up time, distracting from the real issues. She tried to bait him with the Obama citizenship thing, he shut her down, and then she went right back to Marijuana, what a disgrace.. what an effing disgrace.
Everybody listen up: Johnson doesn't have a chance. Especially now that he switched to the Libertarian party... Vote for Paul, their views are so close, and if we can get the Johnson supporters to vote for Paul, he'll have a much better chance of winning the nomination.
I am from New Mexico and this man is awesome. Unlike Mitt-bullshit Romney, who became rich because of his family, Johnson has built his business by himself. And as a governor he always stayed with his beliefs unlike that Mormon flip-flopper.
If Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination, Johnson is my choice. I don't care that he doesn't have a chance of winning the elections - Obama and Romney can go and fuck themselves.
I would like to hear his stand on foreign policies, but he seems ok, I wouldn't pick him over Ron Paul but he is certain the "real" Ron Paul alternative instead of Jon Huntsman.
@Guanchen do you agree with everything ron paul says? if so then yeah ron paul's the guy but ron paul doesn't have a good view on immigration that why i think gary johnson's the man.
@slashes1122 Well tbh, I think economy and foreign policy is more urgent matter atm. In more peaceful time sure Gary Johnson's economic view and immigration would be a lot more appealing.
I love how she's playing the role of the tough reporter who wants to get straight to the facts, but can't help smiling when a man like Gary Johnson goes on camera and is unafraid to tell the truth.
Go Gary! When Ron Paul endorses him neoconservatism is officially dead. Obummer kills the economy and the dems are officially dead. Liberty by 2016 via Rand Paul!
I really like Gary Johnson. He was actually the best GOP candidate for 2012, but didn't get the traction because he is largely unknown. He has many of the same beliefs as Ron Paul except not quite as extreme. I will be voting Ron Paul in the GOP primary, but if Ron doesn't get the nomination, I will be voting for Gary Johnson in the General; he is running as the Libertarian candidate. Hopefully he will run again in 2016, and spend the next 4 years getting his name out there.
Sounds EXACTLY like Ron Paul....I don't get why he doesn't just endorse Ron Paul since he's got the momentum going for him right now!!!! I like him but I support Ron Paul 100%
I really like Johnson and agree with almost everything he says but we can't split the votes between him and Ron Paul because the two are basically the same but Ron Paul is leading so hopefully we can get Gary Johnson into office in 2016 but lets just make sure we don't have obama or some paided for republican puppet
hopefully people agree cause I really do like Johnson
@pepicola6 I prefer Johnson to Paul. I really like Paul, and would vote for him if he got the Republican nomination (not likely), but Johnson (trying to get the LP nomination now) is better on social issues and more "practical" on fiscal issues. But whatever, both sadly have no chance of winning... >:(
@ledawg1138 no actually ron paul is doing VERY well he is even coming first in many polls or atleast second and Gary Johnson yes I do agree with him on certain areas more than paul but I also agree with paul on certain areas more than johnson and lets admit it Johnson has ZERO chance of winning sadly and the two canidates are very similar and can get the country on track immediatley so I dont see why not Paul this year and johnson the next?
@pepicola6 Well if Ron Paul isn't the GOP candidate, hopefully Ron Paul will endorse Johnson, and throw his remaining money and give his full effort to help Johnson campaign for the Libertarian candidate.
@pepicola6 Gary Johnson and Ron Paul are DEFINITELY not the same. Ron Paul is a states' rights conservative. Gary Johnson is a classical liberal. He's not a libertarian, because he's not an anarchist. He's just a reasonable man who understands America.
@pepicola6 I see you're spelling like a republican, and your idea sucks. Ron Paul is a republican tool like the rest, he used to be different, you're living in the past, Gary Johnson is the future.
@pepicola6 It's tough and you're right, but we have to keep the message of Liberty growing. You don't have to "split" the vote and I do hope Ron Paul wins, but he probably won't, so in the general election I'm voting for Gary. All the best my friend, but we have to send a message to both the Democrats and Establishment Republicans.
I've been a Johnson fan since his first term in NM, and I'm VERY liberal on civil rights issues, and VERY anti-corporation. Paul/Johnson 2012 would pull my first GOP vote, no doubt about it.
Gary Johnston or Ron Paul good luck deciding America, they are your only options that aren't bat shit insane or paid for by the big companies, now please legalise it and then tell us in the rest of the EU to legalise it as well.
He is logical and sane, why does he want to be a Republican? Or a Democrat for that matter, he should team up with Ron Paul on a we believe in science not fear mongering ticket.
@EattherichBuddy Ron Paul and Gary Johnson run as Republicans because it is near impossible to run as a third party in this country without being a billionaire.
Fuck Ron Paul, if he wins ull see 4 more years of crap.
Gary Johnson is actually RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT, promising to legalize pot.... hes gotta be the only one with balls to fight the big bad guys who are keeping marijuana knowlegde in the dark and suppressing its users.
@CoLLecToR91 Bro lol, you do realize Ron Paul is the exact duplicate of Gary Johnson ? they basically stand 95% if not 100% give or take the exact same position, I don't know how u don't see that ? the only difference between the two is that ron paul is 76 and older than Gary, not to mention Ron paul is more "famous" since he was around for years.
@CoLLecToR91 Maybe you should spend 10mins researching Ron Paul before you say stuff like that. You'd find out a lot and probably find you respect him. Please consider doing that!
@CoLLecToR91 Why are you saying fuck ron paul?? They are both fighting the same good fight, it's not sports its politics. I support both of them, obviously Paul has a much better chance at nomination but it does not mean one is better. Ron Paul is one of the biggest proponents of legalization and it would not at all be 4 more years of crap.
"Marijuana is a lot safer than alcohol... it's a choice and as long as you're not putting anyone in harm's way, legalize it." I can't believe this is even controversial.
man this guy is our next president HANDS DOWN IM VOTING FOR HIM AND IM GOING TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THIS GUY IS THE GOLDEN TICKET THE REAL MCOY BEST IVE SEEN ALL MY LIFE IN THIS COUNTRY IM VOTING FOR YOU MAN RIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!! IM SO EXCITED WHOOO WOOO TRUTH IN THE LAND ONCE AGAIN!
@Ruinous. WOW...you're an idiot. I happen to be a responsible college graduate that owns my own home.... but yeah, those who do live in a 1 bedroom $200 a month shit apartment should have that right... as well as all americans.
@Ruinous Why wouldn't he want to? All the rich fuckers get to do it whenever they want because they can afford to be on protected private property and have a lawyer 24/7.
Can you imagine if Johnson joined the Paul campaign as VP candidate, and they won, and Paul/Johnson served two brilliant terms and prevented American financial/societal meltdown, and then Johnson ran afterwards for President? Ah, "to sleep, perchance to dream"...
Vote Ron Paul 2012 to end the FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS' 40 YEAR LONG UNSUCCESSFUL WAR on the people's freedom of choice to consume substances (The end of the War on Drugs).
Ron Paul to BRING HOME the troops.
Ron Paul to audit the fed. Ron Paul to end the "Patriot" Act. Ron Paul to end the private bankers' "Federal" Reserve and the power for them to print our currency (UNCONSTITUTIONAL).
Ron Paul to end warantless spying on American citizens, like you and I
This guy is a joke, he was probably corrupt. You can see the dishonesty in his face. But it's not really a problem, nobody knows him and he has no unique message, just generalities that sound reasonable but mean nothing. He'll probably quit the race as one of the first
@girlie347 look at his voting record and history as a politician, then suddenly, you have actual information instead of judgemental ignorance. it's -magic-!
The only thing which annoys me about Johnson is that he seems to act as if Ron Paul doesn't exist and he always acts as if he is the only candidate saying this stuff. He would make their cause stronger if he recognised Paul was saying the same things, alright they have different views on some social issues such as abortion but big deal in the scale of things and what America is facing.
@DukeofWellington91 that would be getting attention off someone else's merits/ popularity. (there's a pejorative word for that which I can't remember, do you know?)
@DukeofWellington91 Actually, when Gary went to Ron Paul to tell him he was running for the Presidency, that ended the meeting. Gary has said that he would ask RP to be his VP. Ron Paul has not reciprocated. There are differences between them, including that RP is very religious and would repeal Roe v. Wade, and Johnson has said he is pro-choice up to viability of the fetus. In other words, Johnson is saner.
@signalfire6 I was pleased when in one of the debates Johnson said he would pick Paul as his VP and I can see why Johnson would want to run, if nothing else to raise his national standing, it is going to be important for America to have well-known, principled and popular libertarians when Paul finally retires from politics.
@signalfire6 As for abortion, according to your constitution it should be a state's rights issue and Paul recognises this. Speaking for myself as someone who is not religious at all, I must say I disagree with both of them. It seems just as silly to me to say that a clump of cells at 4 weeks is a full human being with full rights under the law as it is to say that a 24 week foetus does have these rights but that a 23 week foetus that can cry and breath doesn't.The law is too lax at 24 weeks imo
i think johnson is right where he wants to be, where he's used to being in politics. he's the underdog that is going to take everyone by surprise at the pivotal moment, just wait and see. there will be half a country saying, fuck i hate republicans and their purity, in fact, we're sick of political parties, but the guy we have now is getting nothing done. what about this guy that bashes his own party and spends almost only his own money to tell us he can fix the whole thing in a year...
I like the fact that he doesn't attack the other candidates. That shows me he has a lot of integrity and honor. That, and it shows that he doesn't have to be worried about his qualifications not being good enough and having to undermine others. I very much agree with everything he has said so far and I really hope that he gets very well known.
I'll vote for this guy I like how I don't understand what he says. I hear Obama talkin about a fantasy world about us hoping for change and its all gonna be shits and grins. this guy is talkin about numbers and shit he's ready to work hard and has actual plans to fix shit. Gay marriage aint getting passed congress anytime soon and abortion is already legal so who gives a shit about that. Maybe this guy could get us outta this rut.
I'm from NZ and I know America has so many political problems at the moment. Why is this man NOT recognized. He should be! He has every right idea and is a very open minded man. Please America for the benefit of yourselves and others elect this man as something!
He doesnt have the support of the main stream media, its easy to tell from this interview, he doesnt have an unlimited supply of money to run a campaign like the nwo candidates. Ron Paul has a better chance to win but he is also not supported by the republican leadership.
Finally an american that represents what america trys to show. "isnt this America liberty, freedom, and um personal responsibility that goes along with that" i know who im voting for
@c0olstorybro i agree. i am a registered democrat and i very rarely go in line with republican beliefs, but i truly hope that the republicans will elect him as their presidential candidate so i can vote or him for president.
@c0olstorybro Check out Ron Paul! He's running for presidency in 2012, and he's topping polls for the Republican candidates. He wants to end marijuana prohibition! He wants to end this phony war on drugs! He wants to also bring all our troops back home and have them secure our borders, and to stop bombing other countries which causes hatred towards us.
@c0olstorybro Lets not devide the vote. How about a Ron Paul / Gary Johnson ticket in 2012 and vote for Gary Johnson as president in 2016. They could be a tag team match. WOW what a vote that would be. It would be a landslide vote.
@rmccay88 I never said that I don't respect him. Yes, I did say that Gary is the only republican I truly respect. Why? I have similar views. Don't be ignorant. K, thaaaanks!
Very annoying reporter. Gary Johnson gives me hope that one day America will wake the fuck up. This guy is a real politician. He fucking states HIS own opinion and doesn't hide anything. Sad thing is he'll never win because the idiot masses will vote for someone like Obama.
Obama has done nothing but spend money. Our economy is continuing to decline and nothing is being done.
he has a chance if we can come up with enough money to get his name out

The only thing which annoys me about Johnson is that he seems to act as if Ron Paul doesn't exist and he always acts as if he is the only candidate saying this stuff. He would make their cause stronger if he recognised Paul was saying the same things, alright they have different views on some social issues such as abortion but big deal in the scale of things and what America is facing.
DukeofWellington91 5 months ago
@DukeofWellington91 that would be getting attention off someone else's merits/ popularity. (there's a pejorative word for that which I can't remember, do you know?)
wutdaFU3K 5 months ago
@DukeofWellington91 Actually, when Gary went to Ron Paul to tell him he was running for the Presidency, that ended the meeting. Gary has said that he would ask RP to be his VP. Ron Paul has not reciprocated. There are differences between them, including that RP is very religious and would repeal Roe v. Wade, and Johnson has said he is pro-choice up to viability of the fetus. In other words, Johnson is saner.
signalfire6 4 months ago
@signalfire6 I was pleased when in one of the debates Johnson said he would pick Paul as his VP and I can see why Johnson would want to run, if nothing else to raise his national standing, it is going to be important for America to have well-known, principled and popular libertarians when Paul finally retires from politics.
DukeofWellington91 4 months ago
@signalfire6 As for abortion, according to your constitution it should be a state's rights issue and Paul recognises this. Speaking for myself as someone who is not religious at all, I must say I disagree with both of them. It seems just as silly to me to say that a clump of cells at 4 weeks is a full human being with full rights under the law as it is to say that a 24 week foetus does have these rights but that a 23 week foetus that can cry and breath doesn't.The law is too lax at 24 weeks imo

America, please make this man your president.

i think johnson is right where he wants to be, where he's used to being in politics. he's the underdog that is going to take everyone by surprise at the pivotal moment, just wait and see. there will be half a country saying, fuck i hate republicans and their purity, in fact, we're sick of political parties, but the guy we have now is getting nothing done. what about this guy that bashes his own party and spends almost only his own money to tell us he can fix the whole thing in a year...

WOW, I really like this guy! He's like Ron Paul, except better! And I like him!
wutdaFU3K 5 months ago 4

IzzyIsRad 5 months ago 3
@IzzyIsRad
He doesnt have the support of the main stream media, its easy to tell from this interview, he doesnt have an unlimited supply of money to run a campaign like the nwo candidates. Ron Paul has a better chance to win but he is also not supported by the republican leadership.

@c0olstorybro Don't forget Ron Paul !
FromDreamz2Reality 5 months ago 2
@c0olstorybro Check out Ron Paul! He's running for presidency in 2012, and he's topping polls for the Republican candidates. He wants to end marijuana prohibition! He wants to end this phony war on drugs! He wants to also bring all our troops back home and have them secure our borders, and to stop bombing other countries which causes hatred towards us.

@c0olstorybro What about that badass Paul?!
ShittyMcPoopyBalls 5 months ago
@c0olstorybro Lets not devide the vote. How about a Ron Paul / Gary Johnson ticket in 2012 and vote for Gary Johnson as president in 2016. They could be a tag team match. WOW what a vote that would be. It would be a landslide vote.

@johnbrown1968 even better with Johnson as president in 2016, have Rand Paul as VP by that time too!
