6 Turnovers OMG we SOOOO deserved to lose that game..but we have 54, 23 you know.. 54 Stripping the bll away..that was just..as Chappelle says "COLD as ICE!!!"

hehe i remember being like 11 watching hthis game and my bears were losing andi had to go to bed. Went to bed really pissed off, woke up really happy hehe best morning of sportscenter ever.
hey Bears Fans, check out my tribute video for Jay Cutler. its on my page. its pretty good. thanks i really appreciate it. dont forget to comment. THanks it means a lot.
The defense and special teams were what got the Bears to the Super Bowl that year. The offense, and Train Rex especially, were what held the other components back. If only they had a halfway decent quarterback, they would have won the Super Bowl.
by this game played out the bears shut down the run and arizona kept running the bal while bears put 9 guys in the box and the bears are the best in making turnovers to strip the ball like what urlacher did and especially tillman as well cause when they try to tackle they try to force the ball out and the bears lead the entire league since 2004 to make turnovers
Hester is not only the best returner of all-time, he is also the most clutch returner of all-time. If you go back and look at his 14 TD returns, there is an unbelievable amount in the second half and, more importantly, the fourth quarter. Have always loved watching Hester and will continue until he retires. A true legend.
The key to this game... the Defense & Devin Hester got together and decided that they needed to make sure Rex Grossman wasn't allowed to touch the ball anymore!
I remember that but I remembered it being more epic for daa bears like them winning on a field goal not on a missed one but whatever what a great game I love the bears even though they lost the superbowl and this year but yaaaaaaa
I'm a Bears fan, but every time Devin gets the ball, I think to myself, why did he do that? He's kickin' the ball to the greatest return man of all time. If you want to win games against Chicago: Don't Kick To Devin Hester.
this was a proud moment as a bears fan. I remember that game. My grandfather had come over to watch the game, and was so disappointed that he left. Boy did he regret it. Unfortunately, I cannot say my memories of Grossman are very good. I do not really miss him.
This is the game where the MNF announcer (I think Theismann) said, "The Cards are winning 23-3, if they find a way to blow this lead, they need to tear down this stadium, leave the State of Arizona and never ever play football in this State again"
@GRCArizona Yeah, I think I remember him saying something like, "They should turn (University of Phoenix Stadium) into a Pizza Haven" if they couldn't win that game.
Bears are known for 2 things 1. Defense and RB's are a distant 2nd. Jim McMahon was the closest thing to a "franchise QB" that we've had, but if Cutler keeps improving like he has, He could be one.
"Never kick to Devin Hester!" has been the thing Ive heard the most this season. LOL I love it!
Now that's why people take the Bears Defense seriously, along with Hester. LOL! 20-3 lose into halftime, then it's a sheer victory 24-23 from the DA BEARS...
If it wasn't for Hester's return, Urlacher would get all the accolades for the victory. He was absolutely insane in this game (20-some tackles and the forced fumble that Tillman promptly took into the end zone). It was like come the second half he mentally said, "Fuck it, I'm sick of letting Sexy Rexy fuck us over. I'm taking things over."
I rmember being in arizona to see my aunt and going to a bar with my dad and some cousins (dont ask why i was in a bar i was only 12) and we left becuz we thought it done for, and than we went swimming at a hotel and walked in the lobby room and it showed the scores with the bears winning...i almost shit myself
Dennis Green "They were a one dimensional team" Which dimension was that? The defense or special teams?? I guess they weren't exactly who he thought they were lol
@RobTheBernardinosaur. You do know that Grossman turned the ball over all night that game and played very horrible. So really even if Cutler and his high turnover rate was in there the Bears would have still won thanks to their Defense/Special Teams plays that night.
@JZ2001JC Thanks for recapping a game I watched from start to finish. Jay Cutler wouldn't have put us in that position. Even though jay cutler throws INT he still can score a TD and that's all we needed really. Defense did the rest.
@RobTheBernardinosaur. Look I agree Cutler is the better QB but before you bash Rex he did have his games in 2006 where he was amazing. Hence they called him Good Rex (game against Defending NFC CHamp Seattle in REG Season where he tore it up)/Bad Rex (This game vs Cards). One moment he was a star, next game he sucked worse than the equipment mngr. This game vs Cards the Bears did not need the Offense to win which makes it an amazing comeback victory.
A current chicago team vs. a former chicago team. Both teams used to be rivals when they lived in the same city until 1959 and the Cardinals moved to St. Louis, Missouri the following year, ending the rivalry between the Bears and the Cardinals.

You're up 20 points with a +4 TO ratio and you lose? Without surrendering a single offensive point? All the times I've watched the tape of this game, I still can't believe what I'm seeing.
