  • is it oki if i drink for breakfast and dinner green juice with a piece of fruit and for the lunch 1 chicken breast with steamed broccoli

  • Brilliant video, I am so glad that you talk about the mental side of the process, which is often ignored but yet so important.

In my experience I found that after I defined my goals, self-education was the next step. You can learn a lot from Google Scholar, but you must be careful to be objective in your evaluation of some journals. And then incorporating change slowly and sustainably is what I credit my success too.

Thanks for sharing this video and information.

  • Awesome video- great philosophy! Was wondering your opinion on multivitamins-safe not safe? I've heard they all contain lead.

  • can you lower your body fat to 5 precent on raw food diet??

  • All my Full DVDS on raw food on my channel.

  • Very clear and understandable. Thanks and I'm doing my best to do more each day and less of meat, dairy, and breads/wheat...

  • I've noticed this new meal plan regime referred to as DietOramy (search on google) - my auntie told me she begun making use of it and already already lost number of kilos, without feeling famished or worn out at all... what do you think, has any1 used it however?

  • Raw is life. Life is magic.

    Eating raw is eating magic.

  • Hi there I have PKU - cant digest protein. I have to take a liquid protein formula x3 p/d - and I basically live on fruits and veggies anyway - I have been really *bad* and have been eating normal food and meats on top. I have put on a tonne of weight and feel like a whale. I just wanted to know - as I cannot eat nuts or any high protein normal foods.. would 60g of protein that I get through my special formula be enough protein per day for the average 27 year old woman?- great vids xxx

  • @louloubell84

Well, I have been eating as raw as I can for 3 weeks. I have heard that we really don't need as much protein as some Dr. or people say we do. To much protein can be just as bad as to much fat. Also a raw diet should give you what you need alone if you eat the right thing's. You should be ok with 60g of protein, but where is this protein your taking coming from? How is it made? The rawer your diet I feel is better..Use fitday.com to help you see how mush your getting

  • @morethanevil72 what is the RA? sorry i live in thailand

  • one thing about raw foodists that has always stumped me, they won't cook grains and legumes. Yes i know they soak them for weeks to get them soft, but who has time for that? The whole science behind the raw theory is that cooking destroys enzymes. But enzymes are only present in water bearing parts of plants. Things like seeds, rice, wheat and beans are DRY and do not have enzymes. so why not cook them? The rich supply of minerals in these type of foods are unaffected by heat.

  • @enisorian very interesting poing. ..... yelkaim - what do you think?

  • I got a slim body aswell. I eat alot of food, (meat and carbs) and lift I heavy weights 3-4 times a week. I want to try this but I dont wanna become as slim as you are, no offence. What is your opinion about muscle gaining vs raw food?

    Thanks for a great video!

  • Thanks for the advice! I've been wanting to go more raw but I dont have the time for complex recipes or dollars for expensive store raw stuff. I'm going to do what you said and do one fruit/vegetable per day more (and remove one cooked item)

  • @DaringGirlProduction When you stop paying for all the meat and junk food, you can then get your health food. For me it has been less money and I feel good about what I'm getting. Also my body and mind feels better. :)

  • Yeyuh you're the man

  • Does a raw food diet make you loose weight even if you are at a normal or below average weight for your height?

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew if calorie intake of raw food is less then calorie output then yes you do lose weight no matter what ur bmi is

  • i need to lose weight, have more energy, and do so in -30c weather... i find that raw foods are good in summer time.... I'm going to try cleaner foods/raw foods in the winter

  • @morethanevil72 I guess it really comes down to you trying it out for yourself. Organic costs more cause it grows slower since there is no hormones in it. Growing outside and from the earth is not a bad thing lol. Its natural. In fact, before you can call your food organic, the land you grow it on must be inspected first. So yeah, it IS healthier than chewing a hormone filled / preservative filled carrot. Eat healthy, dont eat out and you'll save money. :-D. PeAcE n LoVe!

  • Raw food is AMAZING! Great to raise awareness.

  • @morethanevil72 Grow your own

  • @morethanevil72 thats why you should buy organic... Why do you think people who eat right feel better? I mean, you can say that we're all gonna die anyway so lets just keep eating what we eat. However when you eat better you feel better, you live better instead of keep eating what your eating and then get a "die-slow" sickness or get weighed down with depression (which keeps growning at an alarming rate these days).

  • i do juicing and raw foods diet until i run out of money. what do you recommend for a cheap raw filler. can i soak beans and eat them uncooked?

  • the thing that scares me is the 50 bananas, 10 mangoes or whatever i feel like its a lot and will only get me blotted and fat.

  • @SuperSunshine90210, there's no way that that many fruits will make you fat, I've been on an all raw diet for 4 months now and I've lost 15 lbs, I drink that much fruit in a couple weeks. I could NEVER sit down and eat all that fruit, but when I blend it into smoothies, I can drink 3 bananas, an apple, a kiwi, a handful of basil leaves, 5 large carrots juiced, 3 large beets juiced, and 6 or 7 small radishes juiced. All that goes into one smoothie that I drink in less then 5 minutes, twice a day.

  • your a good guy, you do not guilt triop people into changing their diet, you show hwo beneficial it is! nice vid

  • I am jumping on the raw and organic foods bandwagon! I watched the documentary Food Matters and it really opened my eyes I am no longer feeding my family the crap that we used to eat its only been a week, but my kids are surprisingly loving it !

  • Hey mate great vid

  • @KingNightmareHR Thanks for your response. Not trying to be argumentative about this, but am still doubtful. It seems as if we are taking a sensitivity that some people have and then generalizing it. If the sensitivity is hard to see, feel or detect, how do we know it exists for that person. Should we all not eat peanut butter because some people are allergic to it? Is there any hard evidence that all people have a sensitivity to gluten or is this just pure theory?

  • i think the key with raw foods is it forces you to cut out junk food and processed food. but fructose is still bad for your liver, raw vegan or not, and i've seen some people eat 30+ bananas in one day on this diet. so, just like any diet, theres a right and wrong way to do it

  • Yuri, I'm a vegetarian who has been using wheat gluten as one of my major protein sources for decades. I have never had any digestive issues or indications that I am the least bit allergic to wheat products. Is there any other reason I should be giving up wheat if I have had no reactions to it? Thanks.

  • i moved to raw foods like a BAWS been 3 days now i have a fruit in the morning a salad for launch and sometimes another fruit for dinner!!!

  • our species owes it's evolution(becoming the species Homo sapiens) to the control and use of fire and cooking

  • @ToolsnFire thats true. it doesn't still mean it would be healthier to eat enzymeless cooked food. evolution is not linear and some things must change all the time.

  • @raakaraivotus where do you get the stuff with the enzymless cooked food from? search on youtube for 'c0nc0rdance raw food'. Its a very interesting videos regarding raw food and c0nc0rdance tries always hard to base his videos on reliable sources.

  • I eat a celery, radish, daikon, onion salad everyday and the gas is a little too much but then again there are some yoga positions to help with flatulance?

  • Oh hello have you considered the Acuspeed 24 Diet (search on google)? I am told some great talk about it and my work buddy burned a lot of weight trying it.

  • Is the raw food diet safe for teenagers? I'm 16 years old and I've been trying to lose weight for a while. I eat very healthily I would say, with healthy protein servings (vegetarian), dairy products, whole wheat, etc. but I really need something more with my body.

  • I feel that everyone has lost touch with the simple fact that Human Beings are supposed to eat organic matter. When the consumption of Processed Toxic Fake Food happens humans are turned into Sheeple, they become sick, fat and are dying slowly all at once. Chemicals are good for no BODY. If you eat food as God intended you will have none of the nasty problems that are prevalent in the world today. Eat all of Gods food, in balance with nature. If man made it spit it out, or pay the price.

  • this sounds alot like the Acuspeed 24 Diet. .. anyone heard of it? I am searching for info but cant find anything even in google... anyone know about it?

  • I challenge you all to a morel eating

I will have mine cooked, thank you!

  • I am about 70% raw right now. I am retired and feel better than ever, I walk several miles a day.

  • Not everyone's digestion is strong enough to digest raw foods. Sure you'll lose weight from it, but that doesn't mean you're doing your body good in the long run. I suggest you eat according to your body type and follow what has worked for the past 5000 years, ayurveda!

  • Raw foods is a tricky subject. I believe that raw foods are great for people with serious diseases, but it may or may not be very good for a healthy individual. I followed the raw food diet peoperly, as I don't like doing things half heartedly and I ended up with imbalances. My point is that raw foods aren't suitable for every body type, which I later discovered when I read about ayurveda. I would like to warn people against jumping straight into a raw food diet.

  • Hello! Have you tried cleverous 402 diet (google it)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my friend lost tons of weight with it.

  • worked for me. nice post.

  • Hi, I am on a 90% raw food diet, and I am a bit concern about the roundworms on the vegies. Any help? thank you

  • @JackHu1000 clean them with water and baking soda

  • Thanks for your video

  • I started juicing about four months ago seriously..... Now I'm eating raw, and feeling better. I have always been sensitive ini gen and food. This mat be my only way of life. Stress and eating bad was killing me

  • Im 15 years old and 130ibs. Im VERY active, i run everyday and play sports. But ive noticed that many kids underestimate the effect of what they eat now. Im going ahead with this raw food diet plan because i care about my health and plan on keeping it for as long as possible. Also, the statistics of diseases are absurd, its time to view food as medicine again.

  • how do you get your protein?

  • @spareld raw cow

  • @orangeapplesauce huh? English please!

  • @spareld Nuts and seeds. Raw cashews, raw peanuts, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, etc.. Those are high in protein and great for the heart.

  • He said "aboot", and i thought that was just a stereotype..

  • @alancazza nope i've heard canadians say eh too

  • @Brittanius95 Yes, we do say that. Guess you didn't know that, eh? Ha ha ha!

  • Dude! you forgot to mention to remove refined suger! great video tho!

  • Just to say that organic raw food is superhealthy but not always for everyone.Ofcourse we are not only a bodies but also spirits. There are different types of body/spirit, if you want (dosha), and what is good for one is not necessarily good for the other. For example I eat a lot of organic raw food (love it!), BUT unfortunately if I was to eat ONLY this (which I tried)I get overactive, nervous and snappy, and so more unbalanced> so I need the soft warm and cooked foods too I learned.Bless u:)

this site compares between top 3 trusted diet plans: fatlosesite . com

visit it or any similar one and start from there!

  • Ok, Now I know why my belly is always bloeated...it was mainly because of my daily wheat intake...also dairy...but what about drinking LOW FAT 1% milk? does that help or should I substitute cow milk with SOY milk or is skim milk better?????

  • @cbba18

Use Unsweetened soymilk or almondmilk instead of cow milk.

  • i'm wondering what studies have been done with sprouted wheat .

in the same way we soak beans to make them edible ,could the same idea pertain to wheats ?

  • raw food cured my cancer

  • @Aepotheosis help me if i start a raw food i'm overweight ...it will help me?

  • @paulomoura2 any diet that's heavy in fruits and vegetables will help you lose weight. especially if coupled with exercise.

  • @Aepotheosis =] As a person who has been through cancer, I can say that this comment really gets me happy. Raw foods probably did not cure my leukemia, but I eat them to keep it away. Stay healthy.

  • I would love to change my diet and pursue a more healthier eating lifestyle. Can you recommend a great cookbook and also something with a chart that contains nutritional value for every type of vegetable? Great video and thanks for the info.

  • @xerroh Yes Xerroh I also would love to know that. I've seen videos of Kimberly Snyder. She helps celebrity's and she has some amazing tips....and a book. So I'm starting with buying that. I just see that LizYArtur has a book recommendation list video right now, so that's lovely!

  • The documetary food matters brought me here. I'm going to attempt this diet.

  • @xxxImtheshitxx A better way to think about it is that it's not just a diet change, it's a lifestyle change

  • remember...the pyramids were built on Egyptian wheat. The Greeks said that if you wanted the strongest soldiers, you had to feed them on Egyptian wheat. It's not wheat that's the problem, it's the way it's grown with chemicals and processed (think hamburger buns). But for a detox diet, definitely cut out these kinds of carbs.

  • I'm only interested in a raw food 2- day or one-day diet to sort of rest the stomach because me I LOVE TO COOK AND E A T WHAT I COOK ji ji ji jo jo jo always something FRESH AND SIMPLE and THANKS

  • I've been applying Yuri's principles for a cleanse diet for the past two weeks and I'm completely blown away by the results. I went from sleeping nine hours a day and feeling dead all day to feeling like I can't sleep more than six I have so much energy. I feel like all the therapy, medicine, supplementation, and counseling I've had for food issues in the past have been for naught. From what I can see Yuri's the real deal, not a blender salesman but a real coach. I highly recommend him!!

  • why does he not recommend wheat products?

  • what about wheatgrass ?? is this good or bad or should I have oat or barley grass?

  • please don't mumble.

  • What would be a good way to get protein in a raw food diet?

  • K.I.S.S = Keep it short and simple

  • I have been raw 11 weeks. The first week was 70%, then I went up to 90% per week, 2-3 meals a week non-raw. Now I eat non-raw once a week. I found the juicing to be most beneficial. Most of my cravings went away after a few weeks.

  • Great information! What are your thoughts on fermented vegetables i.e. Sauerkraut and Kimchi! I make low sodium sauerkraut. I'd really like to know what you think. I've been forming kidney stones since the 80's and I've been told that many vegetables like spinach, okra and soy are bad for stone formers.

In fact, I am interviewing Harvey Diamong on my radio show this Sunday (May 8) and he has some interesting things to say about curing pain with better eating instead of toxic drugs.Go to livingwealthyradio DAWT Com to get info about live streaming...

  • The KISS principle...I love it, you have reinspired me to have another go at this. Thanks.

  • Is smoking weed included in this diet. Its green and from the earth?

  • Hi,

I'm new to 'raw food' way of living.

Good thing you mentioned wheat allergies. I only recently quit wheat/corn/dairy [2 months ago] and my arthritis/bone&joint pain has been reduced by at least 75-80% !!!

I had no idea that wheat/corn was causing so much inflammation.

  • Hope you are Healthy cause you sure don't look like it

  • @Quick2000 Actually skinnier people tend to live longer. Having large amounts of muscle or fat taxes the body more.

  • Totally sold.

  • #UN#, Thx for having such an amazing channel !! Plz Subscribe, Like, Comment, and make Favorite to my new vlog! I'm sure you'll love it too! You are the best! <3

  • love it

  • excellent video

  • lol @ "my personal beef" pun

  • o lokk unhealthy bro eat raw egg yolk at least

  • what about b-12 deficiency???

  • To talk about raw foods, juicing etc please visit juicingforum.co.uk

  • Awesome how long have you been into raw food?

  • I gave up wheat about 3 weeks ago, because I thought I might be allergic, I was given mac and cheese not even 5 oz and didn't eat it all. Within mins I was coughing I guessed right I believe. :) So I agree about dropping wheat.

  • You are not such a nice guy, not to everyone at least. Not saying you should be, but you were kind of cut and dry with me sometime last year when I was just starting to lose weight and was looking for help/tips, etc. Just happen to come across your vid for the first time since then wanted to leave a comment.

Since then, though, I've found TONS of support on youtube and found success as well.

  • ABOOOT.

  • he's hotttt!!!!! kisses from Poland!!!

  • Why do we have to call it a raw food diet? If we didn't have all these other products and food out here in America, most of our food probably would be raw. We need fruits and vegatables, we don't need science to tell us that.

  • I love your videos

  • thank you so much for your generosity. My boyfriend and I will begin going raw soon. :]

  • i will start the raw food diet on saturday!!

  • Your videos are awesome...You are helping me get started on this amazing new life style...Thank you very much...It is changing my life!!! I see that you replied to a comment that was made about vitamin B, and your response was "try bee pollen or royal jelly instead of bread"....im just curious to know if you think there is any difference in raw royal jelly or the just liquid form royal jelly...and if you recommedn raw, dont u have to heat to make a liquid form??

  • Unless you're willing to experiment with new ideas and ways of living, you'll keep getting the same results. If you're totally happy, don't change, but if you feel there's something missing, try something new, it may be for you!

  • Does anyone know what the point of a raw food diet is? I mean I'm all for eating raw food, I do it all the time. Cooking the food is also good. Its a good thing that it doesn't matter if the enzymes from cooking get broken down or "killed" because your body produces enzymes anyways to break down or kill that food. Turning them into amino acids and then unitizing those aminos. There is no evidence in support of raw food being better than cooked food.

  • I don't care what science says! I've seen 7 people cure all diseases with raw food diet!

  • @VirtualSamadhi LOL. I science is all that matters. If the statement is true, then it can be demonstrated in a controlled study. If it can't which, it cant, then it must be magic. Usually holistic and alternative medicine is based on faith and testimonies anyways. haha

  • @VirtualSamadhi

You're an idiot. Science is not some monolithic authority - it's a system that uses logic to arrive at the truth and explain the world around us. Saying "I don't care what science says" is akin to saying you don't care what the truth is. The fact of the matter is that we’ve all benefitted immensely from what science has to offer, including the very technology you used to make your asinine post.

Your anecdotal evidence doesn't meet the burden of proof - raw foodism is bullshit.

  • @XionXi hello, I believe the person was referring to "the science", as in the science that disregards the raw food diet's affect on the body. Everyone uses science to shape the possibilities and probabilities to their questions on reality. Using case studies are a legitimate method.

  • @VirtualSamadhi

Not that I am questioning your claim because I have experienced the benefits of raw food first hand, but what diseases?

  • @VirtualSamadhi well... there is science behind that too , isn't there ?

  • oh and 6.ull age slower :D

  • i did it cold turkey lol :D i did it bc...

1.ur skin will look nice after the cleaning happens(which reuires less skin products)

  • @UbeefHooked Organic food is no better nutritionally than conventional food. A matter of fact they are the exact same. The only difference is how they are grown. Just because organic is grown naturally doesn't mean anything. E coli, mercury, arsenic ext ext are all natural haha Look at Asia. Why do they heat up everything like there teas? To kill off all the bacteria. They would love to have the resources to become conventional like us.

  • would you reccommend fruitarianism for non athletic people? How come you guys reccommend just one type of fruit per meal?

  • My happiness Asian Beauties **lushfmlk.info**

  • Im a vegetarian and i want to try this kind of diet. My question is... is raw vegan diet is safe from amoebiasis? we all know we can get amoeba form some uncooked foods specially vegetables.

  • so... no wheatgrass juice?

  • My friend went cold turkey into the raw food diet and I had another friend go cold turkey into becoming a vegetarian, If you change your diet to quickly it can shock your system and you can become sick, both my friends got sick But its really what every works best for you, I think I am going to do raw food gradually :)

  • im not into 100% raw also.i just want to lose weight and get off my diabetes meds.thats my thoughts:)

  • It's been very hard for me to lose weight and keep it off. It has been a battle for MANY years for me. By chance I happened across some AWESOME starter kits and some coaching too! Check it out if you want to lose the weight and KEEP IT OFF! Copy the link in the address line--> cawolves.sheeprashe.click2sell.eu

  • @dadoody, as you said, its not as easy to digest raw food in your stomach, so as a result your body works harder to digest it, and you loose weight. We learned this in culinary school.

  • @ dadoody, I studied dietetics in my undergrad degree and one of the first things you learn in basic nutrition 101 is that heat does deplete nutritions from foods. I am speaking as someone with experience from a dietetic (food) lab and organic chemistry lab on a college level.

  • @Chevyices - That's BS. If anything, more vitamins and nutrition are extracted as cell membranes are softened through heating. Some proteins become easier to digest, and there is definitely a boost in energy gained from glycogens. The only loss of nutrition would come if you either over cook or boil and pour away nutrition. Proper cooking adds flavor and nutrition. What kind of college did you go to? Brigham Young..?

  • is this video for morons?

  • Great information, thanks. There is also a new documentary that covers food and so much more, it's titled "Frequency of Genius" frequencyofgenius com

  • I love that you can encorperate the diet into your own lifestyle , so your not saying that you havet to eat.. all raw foods but adding more into your diet will be very benefical for you health.... i love it , thankyou so much.

  • twitter . com/rogerbezanis -> Raw Foodist...

  • What if you want to be really healthy and gain weight????

  • this guy looks like he came from a concentration camp. what a douce

  • umm ok since your into the raw food thing i was wondering have you heard about Aajonus Vonderplanitz umm just wondering what your opinions are about him :)

  • Thank you for the video. I have been gradually adding more fruits and veggies to my diet and lowering the bad stuff. The only issue I have is that I live in a "food desert" and can't find any organic or farmers markets around me for quality produce. Do you have any suggestions?

  • im a fatass, and i have an eating disorder, i wanna lose weight in a healthy way.how long does it take to lose 10 lbs? :) ur very helpful.

  • Hey! I wanna do the raw food diet but I hear you have to eat mass amounts of fruits, veggies, and nuts to get the recommended amount of proteins, minerals, nutrients etc. Also I am a swimmer and don't want to not have enough of anything because my body needs lots of energy and certain things when I swim.

  • @SHiMMERx0o There is far more nutrients in raw organic foods, then there is in animal products and grains. Most americans are getting way to much of the wrong kind of protein(animal protein),which they don't absorb well anyway.Animal protein actually strips vitamins and minerals from your bones and organs.

If you feel you have to eat grains or breads, then but organic sprouted breads, which are breads with a different structure, many more nutrients,& are living food with enzymes.

  • It seems that most raw foodists that do these types of You Tube videos are stoned.......but you don't seem to be. You seem so "normal" (for lack of a better word). That's so refreshing. I'll be watching your videos. Thanks!

  • can weightlifters have success with this diet? What variations should be made for weightlifters?

  • can you eat sushi with this diet???

  • How do you eat raw beans like pinto and lima? I saw them on the list of foods but how could you chew something like that raw and hard?
