  • fantastic ,one of the best ads ever, do you have hipsway ,tinder ad ?

  • This Song was featured In The TV Advert for McEwens In 1986

  • I remember this ad ( I think it mainly played on channel 4) from when I was a kid. I never forgot it & always loved it. Thanks a ton for uploading, dude, you've made my day!

  • LOVEEEE This advert. I used to go crazy when it came on TV when i was a kid. The remixing of the music from the original sounds wayy better. Would love a full length version of this soundtrack even tho the original version is good, this version has more "kick" to it. Might try a remix of this myself and make a longer version of this. Cheerz for posting this Intercity1251

  • @TheCasbertShow Fantastic comment,glad you liked it......Cheers

  • @TheCasbertShow It has different lyrics too.

  • I've found this at last! Have always remembered it in association with a World Cup.

  • yeah was on at half-time during Scotland v Denmark at 86 world cup. I had never seen anything like it before

  • the advert was great - shame about the lager

  • Great to see this again, I was lucky enough to see WIN playing live in Edinburgh in the 80's..they were brilliant.

  • @neilvannuil Thanks for the comment.

  • I'm pretty sure this advert was played on the commercial break at half time on one of Scotland's games in Mexico '86.

  • @coloneldecker I didn't know that you must have a very good memory although i do remember these videos being shown on TV,not much of a footie fan

  • @coloneldecker your entirely right... first time i saw it was half time at one of the 86 Scotland games..blew me away then as it does now!

  • Why were all those zombies pushing boulders up ramps???

  • @englishguy2010 I think it is to do with eternal punishment the boulders could only be pushed i one direction and that was upwards, they would live and die pushing boulders,i think thats whats behind the ad,they then smash the telly and go down the pub for pint happy ending.....?

  • @Intercity1251 See M.C Escher's infinite stairway

  • @englishguy2010 : Zombies? Those are your average citizens of Cambuslang by ra way...;)

  • Lovingly referred to as "McUrine's Lager" as I remember! LoL! The ad was fantastic though - and brilliantly spoofed by the late, great Rikki Fulton on BBC Scotland's Scotch & Wry. Win featured Davie Henderson ex-Fire Engines on vocals. Cheers (literally) for a great posting!

  • @HeavenUpHere64 Thanks for the comment i don't recall it being refered to as McUrine's lager, but it was pretty weak stuff and not a favourate off mine.

  • An exceptional advert for a shit lager !!

  • brill. when ads were classy indeed abit too much, but crap lager, the fosters of the 80s lol

  • @sproggens Agreed the stuff was just terrible from what i can remember, but its what a lot off pubs sold, but happily theirs a wee bit more choice now....Ps do they still sell Fosters?

  • love the song brings back good memories lager was pish though lol

  • The best ad ever made!

  • @steviebrochdale Thanks for the comments, both ads are fantastic,i slightly prefer the other one to this one,but their both good.....

  • I had this on VHS fucking years ago, i would pay serious money to get another copy of the full tape with all the other videos!!!

  • love the song and the advert!!!

  • @kazkraft Thanks for the comment and Yes it is a great song and vid......Cheers
