Not quite. This is a genuine gypsy song. Goran Bregovic, a very talented serbian (from Bosnia) composer, uses to take the most beautiful songs from different cultures, including gypsy songs, and gives them a better orchestration than the originals.

This song sounds much more better in the "Queen Margot", where Ofra is a accompanied by a gypsy band.
