i"m a fashion student from london, personally i think its great that i can now carry all my magazines on my ipad instead of breaking my back with 20 print issues (pretty sure its good for the environment too no?), but personally i prefer the OtherEdition newsstand, purely because its a newsstand with loads of titles, so i dont need to even search the magazine on itunes, i really wish more magazines on OE!!

This is Rubbish! Magazines arent supposed to be like this!! they should remain in paper form, this whole aesthetic deflects away from the initial and true intentions and portrayal of communication in media tech models. Only joking, just been checking out the wired mag on ipad2, totally sick, I love this shit ! :D

You should just scroll through the magazine the way someone who hasn't seen it yet would look through it. I get that there's a fast jump function to other articles, but I want to see the designers initial functionality intentions!

it should be cheaper as they don't need to worry about printing the papers and all that stuff. so strange! and it's actually pretty positive as we can save the use of papers everyday

Great video displaying the magazine apps. That's one of the main reasons I am wanting an iPad so I can read digital magazines instead of buying paper based ones which are not only wasteful but also take up a lot of space as I tend not to throw them away.
