  • so thats the JSA but they change it into the Justice guild

  • Yeah and I guess it would've made introducing in the later seasons an aged Wildcat and the second Black Canary a bit strange.

  • As good as the Legends episode was, there's no substitute for the real JSA. If this had been the real episode it might have defied epic!!

  • Unaird?????

  • This storyline was purely magical. And a worthy tribute to the great Julius Schwartz, to whos memory it was dedicated.

  • I'm confused. Was Tom Turbine Atom's replacement? Because he looks like Superman.

  • @LTCproductionsofical He was Elmo's replacement.

  • Technically, the JLA is a specific and spearate intellectual property than the JSA and the show bought the license to JLA.

For the same reason you don't see Batman on Teen Titans and Michael Rosenberg's Kid Flash could only hint about being the Flash in JLU

  • DC asked the producers to change the characters from the JSA to the Justice Guild because the characters are portrayed as 'goofy' in the episode.

  • That, and they died in the episode twice. The episode "legends 1/2" do capture the 40's/50's superhero comics to a tee.

  • @zombieted also because they didn't want them to be killed off at the end of the episdoe like the guild was

  • y didn't it ever air

  • Black Canarys Daughter was on JLU.

    WildCat was on JLU.

and ATOM looks like ATOM SMASHER.

  • Probably because Atom Smasher is the original Atom's grandson...or something like that.

  • @Gunganfan Atom Smasher is the original Atom's GOD son.
