@blitzace97 well for 1 jar jar binks is the most annoying character in star wars history (next to ashoka from the stupid tv show) also the movies were very boring, episode 1 was just introducing all the well known characters like yoda, obi wan (or ben), the droids, and anakin, they tried to turn it into a comedy with jar jar and all the pointless jokes but it was just annoying. also darth maul was pointless, it seems like they just forgot to put in a villain so they threw him in last minute
@blitzace97 episode 2 was all about love and the relationship between anakin and padme, there was hardly any action besides the small duel with jango fett and obi wan and the battle of geonosis which was mostly just flying around in the gunship. also i didn't see the point in them throwing in boba fett, all he did was sit there and stare at obi wan. they put too much effort into the plot and not enough into what everyone wants to see, huge battles with giant walkers and starfighters
@blitzace97 episode 3 (which people claim is the best in the whole series) was better than 1 and 2, but at the same time it got boring. i like how they decided to include more than two battles this time around and they were actually good battles but once again they were just throwing in pointless characters to kill. count dooku served no purpose to the movies at all and general grevious just came out of no where and died just as quick. this one wasn't as bad as the rest but could've been better
@blitzace97 also one of the biggest problems with the prequals is that 75% of the movies were just politics. how many times did we really need to see that large room that palpatine gives all of his speeches in? thats why everyone thinks they're so boring, the simpsons even made fun of it by making a spoof of star wars where they just discuss new laws and such and than an AT AT walks in and starts reading a newspaper, thats seriously what the prequals were, a minute of action than more talking

@TheCap319 The prequels had a good blend of action and talking. I just rewatched them in the past 3 days and they are great. The Politics last like 20 minutes of episode 1 but spread out. Also episode one wasn't a comedy. And it had one of the best duals in star wars history. Episode 2 had mostly action and little politics except for like 1 scene. The rest of the talking was character development. Episode 3 was rushed but was overall great. Every star wars movie is fantastic.
I played 1-2 on my PS2 and beat them both. When I rented The Complete saga I figured it would be fun with all the new stuff. I was wrong. It bored me to death. Man I should have listened to my friend. If you've played the first 2 games don't rent or even buy this game!! It will be boring!! Even though I love Lego Star Wars in general. How come you never explained how to do the lightsaber super combo? You know, the attack that will still injure an enemy even though they blocked, as well as getting rid of 2 hearts a time? The one executed by carefully timing your attacks, in other words, pressing the attacking button only when the jedi finished it's swing? Or is it not in this game?

@kNIGHTWING01 I love your wifes respond when you say "Unless your talking aboute lego star wars" "That's . . . great . . ." lol but I know it's an old vid and you and your wife are the best at reviewing! Unlike Ign or gamestop since they will just say the gameplay is good and graphics make a game which make their reviews boring since all they talk aboute is graphics! While you too talk aboute the things that make a game fun! Oh and I got to say "God bless and happy gaming!" Hope you dont mind!

I had the original game for gameboy and gamecube then got star wars 2 for DS I expect that this is similar but either way I want to play them again with wii controls

i tryed 2 make ness and jeff from eaarthbound. cant do ness right cuz the baseball cap isnt red and no striped shirt but jeff looks cool but no glasses

How come you never explained how to do the lightsaber super combo? You know, the attack that will still injure an enemy even though they blocked, as well as getting rid of 2 hearts a time? The one executed by carefully timing your attacks, in other words, pressing the attacking button only when the jedi finished it's swing? Or is it not in this game?

i dont notice the graphical difference between lego star wars 1 and 2 for gamecube compared to lego star wars the complete saga so i guess this game is pointless except for people who game on playstation 3 and xbox 360
