for me amon tobins best albums were supermodified and permutation and those gems dropped a long time - since then , in between some quite excellent tunes , you can slowly (no joke intended) hear the sad slither of a man disappearing up his own jacksie - hope isam is better than this .

Dude... you must be joking. ISAM was the next step after foley room. Another step towards innovation and truly NEW music. Amon will never make music like supermodified and permutation again. He's done with it.

@dylanmsterling4 no jokes mate - isam bores me, it just never gets going - and theres nothing really new about what he's doing on here - some of it actually sounds like the fucking beatles . people like flying lotus , gaslamp killer , clark , teebs , tipper , audiovoid and a hundred of mainstream dubstep producers have been doing this kind of ' new ' music for a while now - on a more positive note mate i just got hold of foley room live in brussels - now that is amazing

@nichobert Harsh. Some people don't have the means to do it. Some people choose not to out of ignorance. I hear so many interesting sounds throughout the day and it pains me not to be able to record each and every one of them. One just has to make do with whatever he can, whether it be by sampling, sound design, synthesis, etc.

I think it's less the material he record than the work under Cubase he

and of course the knowledge he have to modifie audio.

Yo creo q Amon Tobin es un productor exelente y a su vez esta teniendo repercusion en el mundo, acabaron de poner uno de sus temas en el ultimo juego de NFS por ejemplo. Por lo tanto el tiene el derecho de hacer este tipo de cosas, pienso que esta bien despues de todo tiene fans muy fieles que siempre lo van a seguir (en la que me incluyo xD) y todo esto crea la cultura que el mismo se gano

Do you know, that Tobin only made this video to increase the number of the sold CDs? He wanted to add something more, so it would worth buying them.
